really insightful for budding creators like myself, thanks for sharing your journey, as many hesitate to discuss their salaries and previous positions.
I'm not going to lie it definitely makes me uncomfortable! BUT sharing salaries is better for employees and empowers people to ask for what they are worth. I know I wouldn't have had the confidence to negotiate for more money if I wasn't encouraged by mentors and coworkers.
thank you for the video! very inspiring and helpful :)
Appreciate you saying that! Happy to answer any questions.
Design strategy. Nice.
Interesting experiences.
Question, does a job care where you get your experience from. like at a job or an online class. Is one more valuable than the other?
Thanks,
Some care and other's dont but it is honestly a shot in the dark because it largely depends who the hiring manager is. In my experience if it is not an entry level job the hiring manager will want job experience. But your ability to speak confidently or secure a reference can also take you really far even if you don't have all of the irl experience.
Yeah but do you like your job?
Yeah not all of it though, thats why im trying to start my own business. I like the people, the benefits, the actual work i do. I just dont like the executive leadership and how their decisions affect my day to day.
How did the algorithm lead me here? Did I watch too much KRAZAM?
No such thing as too much KRAZAM
