Had a question about my Rambler once, called in and Steve answered himself and walked me through it. Did my first Carr cost more than my first car? Sure did. Was it worth it? Sure was.
I tried one of these out at a local music store where I live. I thought 2600.00 was a lot to pay for what I thought would just be a practice amp. I set the amp at 9:00 and it was loud! I couldn't believe it. It sounded huge. I set all the tone knobs at 12:00. I didn't fiddle with it much. I was sold. That's actually a good rule of thumb. If you have to mess with an amp a lot to get the tone you are looking for it's not the amp for you. If you had the same thoughts that I just mentioned about wattage, don't be fooled. 10 watts is quite loud and for the kind of gigs that I do this will easily do the job. The attenuator means you can use this amp all the time. I can practice in my apartment, I can do gigs in wine bars, house parties and such. Steve says he used it for an outside gig and he was fine. I don't have the money right now but it is definitely on my wish list.
God I love Carr amps. I just picked up a Skylark and the attenuation is killer. It drops the 12w to 1.2w but it makes it totally useable for small gigs and studio use. The tones are incredible. As always Lance, great demo!
LANCE I BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR YEARS SORRY TO SAY BUT THE SUPRO CARONADO EATS THE CARR FOR LUNCH,I MYSELF BEEN PLAYING OUT OF TWEED BASSMANS FOR DECADES AND CAN GET ANY TONE I HEAR ON ALL THESE DEMOS HANDS DOWN, CHEERS BROTHER. 4-9-23
I learn something new about playing the guitar each time I watch a ten minute demo by Lance. The amp sounds great, and the playing is spectacular.
He didn’t even mention the unbelievable customer service Carr amps provides. They are dedicated to their amps long after they have left the shop.

Dammit, Keltner. Now I have to see about picking up yet another Carr amp.
Ditto
That 72 tone cranked is such a gorgeous overdrive sound! Sounds better than a lot of overdrive pedals.
I waa sold at the first strumm cos I have the same 1 pick-up Esquire and you made it sound Glorious!!

As always Lance, great demo!
One of my 'go to' channels for amp reviews. Thanks Lance. Thanks to Steve for another great offering.
When an amp sounds great on utube, you know its special.
Great Demo . .this isn't a concert like all the other demos but a explanation of the actual functions. Great Demo
Pleas demo the Super Bee 10” speaker too!
Great sounding amp!
Welp... I'm getting a paper route. I need this amp
Given the versatility, small price to pay for this quality. Def on my list.
That is a very cool amp. Dig the versatility.
Great amp, like Keith Richards in a box!

Wow!
This guy looks like Willie Nelson.
Was this a 112 or a 110?
He said 12". I'd also like to hear a 10" myself.
@@tjancijr Thanks. Totally missed that.
Not much fender sparkle to be heard here...sounds boxy and dull. Was expecting more for the price.
