    How wonderful! I'm nearly 72 and keeping supple is very important to me. This session is a good challenge and as I progress in my practice, I can imagine I'll become very grounded and strong. Investment in time for wellness dividends. Thank you Marion Camou.

    Just found this video of Larry Johnson, I practice Choy Lay Fut with Larry in the 1970's at Hung Sing Studio in SF under Grandmaster Jew Leong who learned from Grandmaster Lau Bun. I believe Larry learn Pray Mantis from Grandmaster Brendan Lai in SF before coming to Hung Sing Studio and he may have incorporated some of the Pray Mantis movements into his form. During our years together and many conversations, Larry loved Choy Lay Fut. Larry is the real deal.

    This is a very potent and powerful qigong set. It was originally published as a dvd and companion book. This set is taught in the US by various teachers, authorized to teach it by Larry Johnson.
    Just wondering- did you get Larry Johnson’s permission to publish this video to UA-cam? I’m fairly certain that it’s copyright protected…

    Very clear instructions, good for beginners...if the speaker wasn't so boring would be a perfect guide...But fine...

    at the 9th minute the exercise goes Kai - He - this is expansion and compression. no need to make it so sporty. watch any video. you need to be aware and understand the process and what is being done. Thank you

      This is a set commonly done in northern praying mantis. He studied for a while with Brandon Lai, before switching to choy li fut.

    This is not original 18 budha palm. Is a fake form and a fake qigong

      its not the Choy Li Fut version, that is very different. But it is like the 7 Star Mantis version, but they did it like it was tai chi or something.

      Of course not the original form but definitely has the correct techniques of Chi Gong.....I tried it....not fake. I train in Choy Li Fut kung fu and I know what works and what doesn't. This works for a chi gong exercise!!! Thank you.

      This is oiginal set of exercises which was practiced in Shaolin at the beginning of 20 century. There is book Shaolin Internal Huang Han Xun with old photos and pictures depicted on the oiginal scripture
