Yeah let's fight this terrible engine, these terrible optimized games with "more VRAM". What's gona happen in the next few years? "Oh you idiot, 16GB of VRAM is barely enough for 720p in 2028".
Had this experience where I played a section at around 40 fps, reloaded and was stuck at like 17. Reloaded again and was back to 40. Have you had this experience? With a particular gpu? Curious as to what might have caused that. Vram was fine, ram was fine, cpu was fine (under 50, cause ofc)

And for those older gpus its fine... The game is new, uses a brand new engine, no one can expect that the game runs on an old gpu which is like 6 years old on high settings at best in 1440 or even 4k... People need to understand that there is a reason that old tech stuff dont hold up forever. I went through that shit last year with my 980. I could run games on ultra low and lower Resolution... I needed to upgrade, thats it. Be happy that it runs at all, on low-med lsettings.....
Sometimes if you switch res game just starts to perform better (but some graphic settings are breaking and it looks worse), this is what happened with 1440
My 3060 12gb works pretty well especially with dlss and fsr …without it I get about 50 fps on medium and with it I get consistent 100 fps or more depending on the environment. Of course there’s still a lot of bugs and kinks that need to be worked out like any game recently launched
Low FPS is the result of weak GPU, not insufficient VRAM size. Insufficient VRAM will appear as distinctive stuttering. E.g. RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB in one place you can roll / turn / doing saltos and FPS will be abound. But it may stutter if you will go with your character far away on the battlefield - thus swapping new textures into VRAM. Or not ?

At the same time, I think it was well-optimized too, crystal-clear graphics on high settings, rather than relying on features that make the game look like you’re hallucinating..... 🤢
It was only duel thrraded ganw it also came out with s.l.i suppoort.
The mGPU games play way better than older s l.i or cf games on dual gpu setups.
It sucks that developers won't bother implimenting mGPU to game that depratrly need it.
Chernobylite supports running two rtx 4090 in mGPU with drive 566.
Hello zWORMz, will you do review on rtx 4050?
Hey. I have the same GPU but with 16Gb of ram, you think I could still play the game without those aweful drops and still have some graphical fidelity ?
I’m getting like 50-60 on high with a 3070 and over 100 with frame gen but I usually don’t like using it for any games
At least with this game, any graphical artifacts can be called Anomalies and look like part of the game lol. Even floating Bob, it could be radiation making him float :).
I hope the developers do work on this more and get some optimisation done. This game has a lot of potential to be a great game.
I have an RTX 4080 laptop and just got the game on Gamepass. Didn't want to spend the $70 right off the bat. Gonna see how it runs. Hopefully 4K Perf DLSS on High settings will be playable
I was a Nvidia fan, but after seeing their greed in recent times decided to change to AMD. Can't be happier. For 200$ I got a great deal for a rx6800. Those 16gb of VRAM really makes you not worry about going out of memory. And the performance is great.
Yeah let's fight this terrible engine, these terrible optimized games with "more VRAM". What's gona happen in the next few years? "Oh you idiot, 16GB of VRAM is barely enough for 720p in 2028".
hey are you considering the gtx 1660 super ?
even though I think it will be even more broken XD
Much love from South Africa!! Please do the GTX 1080🙌
already been
@@VoltwallOn Stalker 2??
2:20 straight ahead, slightly to your left you can see a guy t posing going backwards into that building. Never change S.T.A.L.K.E.R 🤣🤣
Stalker 2 will utilize a second graphics card VRAM if it is installed.
fr?
It will utilise all memory in ur pc build, even the ROM)
Rx 6600 gameplay needed stalker 2😢
Had this experience where I played a section at around 40 fps, reloaded and was stuck at like 17. Reloaded again and was back to 40. Have you had this experience? With a particular gpu? Curious as to what might have caused that. Vram was fine, ram was fine, cpu was fine (under 50, cause ofc)
HERE WE GO!!! THANKS MANN❤..
You're welcome!! Thanks for watching 😃
@zWORMzGaming Keep going well man🫂♥️
Next gtx 1660 ti please!
Wouldnt mind seeing the 1080TI 10GB model.
They exist a 1080ti 10gb model?
I tested the 1080Ti, it's an 11GB card btw!
Yhea, obviously I was just asking at him it was have seen some strange model on the web because there a lot of strange think on the pc world 😅, btw nice video and thanks to showing how real this unoptimized game run, probably the rtx 2060 is almost the minimum gpu apart from the awful vram issue.
There will be plenty of performance and optimization passes for this title down the road though right?
Can you test rx6600?
Coming next!
Any chance you can do a test with a weaker CPU? For more of the average gamer with an i5 :)
Do you actually finish playing the games you test every year?
Half tempted to find out how well my old 5700xt will do with a 10700 Intel chip lol. Runs fucking great on my 2.7 panel with a 5900x and 6900xt. Granted, probably better than what most people have at home. Asking for a 3080 or 6800xt for good quality is a tall order lol. Not to mention the 32 gigs of ram. I’m glad I future proofed my pc.
thanks for the benchmark, can you try with 16gb ram ?
needed rx6600 test most people using this card!
most people are using a 3060 or 4060, but out of amd users it is the most popular newer card.
just take the numbers from this and drop it like 5% minus the stutters due to the vram
RX6600 will perform better than the 2060
Nothing will ever beat the video of the last GPU tested for this game. Pure cinema ✋ 😯 🤚🤣🤣
If there was only a way to turn of RayTracing without fuffing up all the lighting, I think a lot of people would've loved it.
do you still have the 6700XT? interested how it performs here
Trees seem to pop in no matter the setting if so let me know which setting specifically does the trees cause view distance doesn’t seem to change anything.
The weird thing I found with shadow quality is that having it on High gives me more frames than any other setting.
I have a 2060, should i get a 3070 or a 6700 xt?
I play minecraft with shaders and the finals mostly, i like rt but i dont use it all the time and dlss is preferred.
Only thing that worries me is that 8gb
And for those older gpus its fine... The game is new, uses a brand new engine, no one can expect that the game runs on an old gpu which is like 6 years old on high settings at best in 1440 or even 4k...
People need to understand that there is a reason that old tech stuff dont hold up forever. I went through that shit last year with my 980. I could run games on ultra low and lower Resolution... I needed to upgrade, thats it.
Be happy that it runs at all, on low-med lsettings.....
Could you test a RTX 3080? Really want to play this game but I'm afraid my personal demands are too high for a 3080
brings back crysis vibes with my 8600 gts
this game has a major memory leak issue, i hope they are aware of this
I hope you try the performance mods from Nexus mods and see the difference in a future video :D
Sometimes if you switch res game just starts to perform better (but some graphic settings are breaking and it looks worse), this is what happened with 1440
WHEN RX 6700xt please ? 🙏 ❤
Or not ?
When's the super model benchmarks? That's the one on my desktop 😅
I'm one of the crazy people who thinks that the input delay from 30 to 60FPS Framegen is not that bad
Good for u I guess that means it will help u the most I'm fine with 50 base fps maybe 45
I have 13400f and 2060, its perfectly playable on 1080p for me, i use high/medium mixed settings and along with DLSS Quality, its 55 60 fps in the zone and settlement if the one digit fps bug hits me it goes down to 8 10 but other than that its usually 35 40 fps in the first settelement
Can you do tests of CPU's? I'm looking for a core i9 9900k with a gpu that allows me to play in epic 60-120fps (60fps in the npcs areas). I wanna upgrade my machine and I9 9900k is the best cpu I can change to, and I don't know what is the best GPU that matches with that core to play this well in epic
I have a ryzen 5500 with an rx 6700. 16 gb and 10 gb that was a prebuilt pc that I bought from wally world on sale for like 750 bucks. I use medium settings with tsr resolution 100 upscaling ultra quality epic anti antialiasing with 0 sharpness 1080 p and the game runs and looks great. And I don't use frame gen. I'm getting like 80-100 frames and no ghosting nor blurries. And it handles the town areas with npcs just fine as well.
On R5 5600, 16GB of RAM and RTX 2060 super, in 1080p DLSS quality, at medium-high (more high) i have 55-60 frames, drawdown in the village up to 40-45, with frame generation of 95-115 without input lags, but still I'm waiting for a patch, because there are some to pour out they promise to fix it with the next patch
fuf, no iba a jugarlo pero ver como andaría en mi grafica, ahora pienso que menos voy a jugarlo
thank god i upgraded to 7900xt and just kept everything on epic without framegen and withour FSR and have my 60-90FPS on 1440p game just came at everything max and i stuck with it ... drama was more intense than it actually needed to be so i fell for it but now im kinda happy i upgraded anyways from my 2060s
go to rostok in 100 rads bar area . it's more of a cpu and gpu benchmark there. My fps lowered there, making gpu usage a bit low and spikes in cpu usage. maybe 100 rad bar area will become more cpu intensive benchmark
Nice I was thinking to get a 2060 but now I am thinking to get a rx 6600 xt which one do I get?
6600 xt is significantly better than the 2060
7:27 Never tried 900p or 768p? 🥺
3060 mobile can do the work too but downside is that crazy memory leak that slows things down to a crawl that needs fixing, otherwise I can still enjoy Stalker 2 even at low settings with the laptop and some adjustments.
Please do Rx 6600 next
I have the RTX 2060 12GB version from MSI, I'm playing it 1080p all high settings dlss quality with an average of 40 to 60 fps
You can mod the game so you can use the DLSS FG in lower series cards. It actually works it's pretty cool.
The game already has FSR FG.
@@Funnky I'm talking about DLSS FG which is better
Crazy to see a 2060 struggle with 1080p medium
I have this card and im satsified with its performance i play most games at 1080p but this one is really struggling which is crazy because ive seen more visually impressive games require less vram
I play on an RX 6700XT and it runs without any problems. It runs super smoothly. It has problems with some GeForce chips and it will be fixed...
Good thing I watched this before buying it on PC.
something is not right here i'm running the game on a 1070 ti with a ryzen 5 4500 at 60 fps on medium with taa enabled and fsr frame generation enabled at 1080p and it only dips to 40 fps in towns shouldn't the 2060 beat my old build? this game looks stunning to me btw
I watched further on frame generation is probably helping me alot here, glad it exists
