Keep in mind that wild reindeer are very shy animals. We needed long lenses and sometimes cropped sensors. As well some of these scenes are staged to minimise the impact on the animals. I will not record myself if I’m in danger of interrupting the animal. So this video is a mix of real situation and b roll. Furthermore, there’s no guiding for wild reindeer, so don’t ask about or ask for locations please. We’re just friends on a trip of our own. Hi Gunnar, spectacular video! Beautiful footage, cut, music, and stills! Congratulations! Thousend times better than most photography videos in youtube! It is a lot of work making it and we fully appreciate it! Enjoy doing it that is the most important thing! Herzliche Grüße, Johnny
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks! And yeah, at this point I can’t really do it for the numbers :P but I enjoy it anyhow, so when I have time I cut a video. If not, then not.
Hi Gunnar, wow what an awesome video! That must have been quite some adventure. I saw my first reindeer in Svalbard in April in the snow and loved them as well. The stills are gorgeous but my favourites must be the silhouette of the antlers, they are just epic!! Greetings from The Netherlands.
Hei Galdys, The Svalbard ones are quite a bit different, but cuter in any case 😄 Thanks :) and yeah, seeing those antlers while you laying there waiting for your Moment was quite exciting.
@@GunnarDresler

Awesome video man!!! 8:44 crazy how the antlers come almost vertically out of the skull on that bull, thats a sign he is really old! Keep on going💪😁

Flott video :)
Tusen takk, Lars :)
I’m going to Norway in November and I’m gonna see reindeer, bears, moose, wolverines, wolves, foxes and lynx!
Sounds good! Good luck with bears, wolverines, wolves and lynx, there are barely any in the Norway I am living in :/
In welchem Nationalpark sind die Aufnahmen entstanden?
