The ceramic cup with the silver ring around the top is the bottom part of a porcelain egg coddler. It should have a screw on silver top with a ring on it. It is made to crack an egg inside and add spices and meat and cheers, replace the top, and drop into boiling water. A way to make a great breakfast egg. .
Julie, my husband uses a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxcide with a table spoon of dawn dish soap and a table spoon of baking soda. We have found that it gets out a lot of stains.
I definitely would have gotten that crocheted blanket with the roses on it and tried to get the stains out. Lots of cute stuff today! My favorite item is the Scotland tea towel...I wouldn't want to cut it up!
That vase that was on the top shelf just after you looked at the glass roses was old. It was kind of a milky green. We had a smaller version and I can remember it back when I was young and I'm 66 now.
That little landscape on the shallow tin bowl is a painting on a miniature gold pan, common tourist piece in gold mining country. And the porcelain “egg cup” is an egg shirrer, missing its lid. But they make pretty bases for pin cushions!
Colander for a plant. Put a coconut liner or plastic pot in it. Take off the one handle and hang by chains. I have spray painted lots of drapery hardware to desired color. Clear coat over it and lasts forever.
You can buy them at any garden center. They are made of natural coconut fibers and are shaped according to pots. They are semi-stiff and porous so water runs through them.
We don’t have bins in our Goodwills. I love the beautiful Scotland cloth that you can use the hoops with. I put my star colander on my wood wall taken from an old chicken house. I have all the old kitchen “ tools” with the old green or red handles and I put the colander on the wall with a small nail thru the middle and put very small battery lights around it. I got battery lights at Walmart after Christmas for one dollar and some change. Everyone comments on our Cracker Barrel wall. Love a big coffee mug too….less trips up. 😂❤
Just an idea I use for salt and pepper shakers, even singles is to use them as floral frogs. Sometimes you need tiny flowers but my daughter got tiny glass ones on Etsy and they are miniature bouquets. The white ones would have been nice, or add an IOD transfer. Paint them with a salt wash. Just cute flower frogs.
The pot you thought was an egg cup is an egg coddled. It has a screw on top and some of them are quite collectible in the U.K. I managed to get 3 in the same design from a thrift store. Just waiting for another one
Great finds - I agree with the crocheted blanket with roses. I would have tried to get that out. As for the cross stitched frogs I agree that the frame did nothing for it. However, someone spent some good money getting it professionally framed at Joann’s that’s why the tag was on the back. If that was painted black it would have been stunning!
The little cat and mouse figurine is from Christmas around the world. It came with a little basket and plaid pillow as their bed. It is from the 80's. I had one. You missed the finish glasses near the kissing mice figurines. They looked a bit yellowed so I am not sure if they would clean up. But they are a good seller. I sold a set of six. I have a set of six and a pitcher.
I was glad someone else also knew about the cat & mouse. I used to have it, it's now in my sister's Christmas decor. I still have many items in my home that came from House if Lloyd/ Christmas around the world.
I watched another thrifter buy a quilt with a stain..She soaked it in Oxy clean and the stain came out. You should have grabbed the afghan It was so pretty..worth a try. 😊
Love the lamp! Defiantly the flowers of Scotland. And the strainer. My nice collects very ole ones, battered and missing handles. You can always spray painted the curtains hooks, or dipped them in black paint and hang dry. Buff the drip dry area.
I’m guessing the stitched piece in the pink frame was custom framed at JoAnn’s. Not sure why anyone would have picked that bright pink for such a cute piece. Glad you will save it! It was a lot of work for someone to make.
I loved the crochet piece with the pink flowers and would have tired my hand at getting the stain out. The weird mug with the old underwear ad was my favorite!!!
I really liked that white crocheted blanket. I would get it and try using Norwex detergent on it. I liked the flower fabric and the hoop idea. I'm looking forward to that video.
Hey, Julie! The painted metal bowl is the smallest gold pan they sell. ( : I like the brass lamp hanger. I once had a triple light one with Cool round pressed-glass globes, from the sixties but gave to my niece for her retro decor. Loved your entire haul. Can't wait to see your DIYs from the bits and parts you got. ( :
You might be able to sell those Christmas Stockings. If they are clean. Store them in a Ben with downy dryer sheets and as Christmas gets closer Advertise with names.
13:35 Hi Julie, I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now, and just saw this video where you found the St. Louis mug. Do you still have it? How much are you asking for it? I live in St. Louis MO. That’s our famous Arch in downtown!
Hello this is my first visit. And I'm loving. I will definitely quick question what do domain do you have your website on because I want to do a website and I don't know what do domain to use I would so appreciate your help. Thank you so very much for sharing. Much love to you and everybody. 🤗❣️🌷❤️🌹
Pick up those odd plates, then bake a cake or cookies & take to a friend whose sick or you just want to brighten their day. Tell them it’s a “giving plate” & suggest they pass it on to another friend. Cute mugs are great gifts filled with packs of hot chocolate or cider mix. Make a bunch & take to a hospital or long term care facility & leave for the care givers or house keeping staff. They never get gifts or recognition.
I wld have grabbed the curtain hooks. Easy to spray paint, I had to do that.
The ceramic cup with the silver ring around the top is the bottom part of a porcelain egg coddler. It should have a screw on silver top with a ring on it. It is made to crack an egg inside and add spices and meat and cheers, replace the top, and drop into boiling water. A way to make a great breakfast egg. .
The spoon with the bent handle is a gravy spoon, the other is a sugar spoon.
Sassy, I've found that the stains generally come out of acrylic yarn. ( :
It’s so good to have you back, Julie! You are definitely loved and appreciated!
Wee dish was an egg coddler, the top is missing. Escape to the chateau have made them very popular!
Since items are so inexpensive at the bins, I would suggest getting stained pieces and try Oxi-clean to get the stains out. It works!
Also Grandma’s from Amazon gets anything out even blood.
It depends on the stains. Grease, oil and or wine on something white, I would leave.
Julie praying for you & your family!!!! As those tornado are moving toward you! Hod please keep them safe!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You left the Scotland Buchan pottery thistle trivet next to the Salt Marsh Pottery dish - very good flip!
The bright pink frame made that art pop!
Love the sifter with the green wooden handle and the spoons❤
That vase that was on the top shelf just after you looked at the glass roses was old. It was kind of a milky green. We had a smaller version and I can remember it back when I was young and I'm 66 now.
could you imagine chopping that Scotland textile to bits? eek
All of the White halls! One ice blue, 3 clear, amazing!! Those seem to be great resellers as well!
That little landscape on the shallow tin bowl is a painting on a miniature gold pan, common tourist piece in gold mining country. And the porcelain “egg cup” is an egg shirrer, missing its lid. But they make pretty bases for pin cushions!
I love the embroidery hoops as I cross stitch and those thicker hoops are idea to fully finish projects.
Colander for a plant. Put a coconut liner or plastic pot in it. Take off the one handle and hang by chains.
I have spray painted lots of drapery hardware to desired color. Clear coat over it and lasts forever.
What's a coconut liner?
You can buy them at any garden center. They are made of natural coconut fibers and are shaped according to pots. They are semi-stiff and porous so water runs through them.
Can’t wait to see how the embroidery hoops turn out. The Scotland panel was a great find!
Me too! I think that was the find of the day!
The Scotland panel was my favorite!
Wow that total is phenomenal! What a bargain. I wish we had those bins in the uk.
same! no bins in Italy unfortunately :-(
We don’t have bins in our Goodwills. I love the beautiful Scotland cloth that you can use the hoops with. I put my star colander on my wood wall taken from an old chicken house. That was fun! I love the tapestry and the Scotland flowers textile. You find the sweetest things. God Bless! 🌺🌿
Girl, me too on the size of the coffee mugs! 😆☕️
I love the lamp and the flower piece and the old lamp . You always find such great finds.😊
Just an idea I use for salt and pepper shakers, even singles is to use them as floral frogs. Loved the flowers of scotland linen!
The pot you thought was an egg cup is an egg coddled. It has a screw on top and some of them are quite collectible in the U.K. I managed to get 3 in the same design from a thrift store. Just waiting for another one
Love when you go to the bins
I like the bronze color curtain hooks.
Shoulda grabbed that case at 7:23. I had the matching pattern glasses in my antique booth about 10 yrs ago.
On the needlework: the stitcher took it to JoAnn’s to be framed
I also use the bags for gifts. Makes it easier especially during the holidays.
The little cat and mouse figurine is from Christmas around the world. It came with a little basket and plaid pillow as their bed. It is from the 80's. I had one. Those Christmas stockings are from Pottery Barn and have a decent resale value, even monogrammed.
What a fun thrift day! You got so many nice things! I love the Scotland tea towel with the pretty flowers.
I just love rescuing cross stitch and needlework from the Bins. That frog piece is so cool. Pretty sure it was just framed at Joanns.
Glad to see you weathered the storm. Some friends up there had some tree damage.
Love the lamp..clothes for family at deal prices!
The ‘egg cup’ is an egg coddler missing its lid! Made in England by Royal Worcester Pottery! I have six and we use them.
I watched another thrifter buy a quilt with a stain..She soaked it in Oxy clean and the stain came out.
You should have grabbed the afghan
It was so pretty..worth a try. 😊
The plate with flowers would of been perfect to put Easter treats on 🐰🐣🌷
Love the lamp! Defiantly the flowers of Scotland. And the strainer. My nice collects very ole ones, battered and missing handles.
You can always spray painted the curtains hooks, or dipped them in black paint and hang dry. Buff the drip dry area.
Loved that crocheted rose blanket... I think just washing it the stain would come right out. It's very hard to stain yarn.
And I'm so excited your back at the bins!!! You always make my day and inspire me!
I have watched you for a long time just never commented. But this was a super great video, lots of wonderful finds.😊
Usually when rubbing fells Napa on any crochet item And washing it on a gentle cycle in warm water, Most stains come right out.
Loved this trip. Can't wait to see the embroidery hoops with the flowers.
Love your coffee mugs and the kitty with the mouse!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I’m guessing the stitched piece in the pink frame was custom framed at JoAnn’s. Not sure why anyone would have picked that bright pink for such a cute piece. Glad you will save it! It was a lot of work for someone to make.
Thats a miniture gold pan that paiting of dog sled in on 😊
Great Haul. If the afghan is still there, I am sure dirt will come out of the yarn.
I think the needlepoint piece was framed at JoAnne's.
Yea total 😊
I loved the crochet piece with the pink flowers and would have tired my hand at getting the stain out. The weird mug with the old underwear ad was my favorite!!!
Luv the Scotland tea towel...maybe worth something and it would be a shame to cut it up....Great Finds today. Thank you.
Great video! You found so many good things it’s hard to pick a favorite!
Certainly was a great day at the bins. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy all the videos
I use the hooks or clamps for my dropcloth curtains. My problem is, I’ve changed my curtains, which I do often, and now I can’t find my little clamps.
love the amphibian textile!
I think the first basket the one you said was floppy was a dog bed
That blanket was so beautiful, would have tried to get the stains out. Good to see you back Julie xx
Try dish detergent and hydrogen peroxide for stains
I liked the fleece underwear mug a lot
Couldn’t you cut the top of stocking off and fill will florals and put a new fuzzy rim ?
Loved the desk lamp....very stylish.
I liked the mug with the guy who had the mustache ❤
Awesome finds! There are several things I liked. Can't wait till the First Wednesday of April! Looking forward to all the goodies you have.

Finally a great bins trip!! I absolutely adore the tea towel with the flowers/castles on it!!
Is that a linen towel from Scotland? I love those kind of towels. The needlepoint was just framed at Joann's, but done by an individual.
I love the kissing mice you got I love Knick knacks

The white jar with fruit is an egg coddler
The bins in hernando? I love going there.
The mug at the beginning reminded me of a Holt Howard piece, I tried google lensng but nothing showed up. I'm curious about it too.
Great picking!

The little white cup should have a lid it's an egg cooler quite old they can be
Turn the colander into a planter for outdoors

Julie, please don't cut up that Scotland piece!!!!! I want it.
I'm emailing you about it
don't chop up the scotland textile!! it's probably worth more whole.
I think the pink crochet bag was actually a pillow case cover.
The lamp looks like something from pottery barn.
What a bargain for all that shopping👍🏼💐
Julie when you find cool blankets or afghans with stains don’t you wash them? I’m sure stains will come out
I went to the Hernando bins Sunday afternoon and got a cart full.
Oxi clean gets anything out. Stains? No problem
The white porcelain is an egg cuddler missing the lid.
love this

The egg cup looked like portmeirion is a uk brand 😻
The ‘egg cup’ is an egg coddler and is missing its lid . That one would be Royal Worcester pottery Made In England.
Love the kissing mice
