Hi Harli !!!!! One thing that works really well for my plants and they grow healthy is egg water. Every time I boil eggs for breakfast, I let the water cool off and save the water for when I'm ready to water. They grow healthy and shiny. 😊🌻
My name is Elizabeth and I have a Plant Problem. That is the first step in a 12 Step Program. Ha Ha I too have (WAY) too many plants. I have recently started grouping my plant in same like clusters. All my Philodendrons clustered, succulents/cacti clustered, calatheas clustered, peperomias, ferns, and so on and so on. This has been helpful when watering.
I would love to see a week of watering video! I was also wondering if you use any moisture meters and if you recommend them. Love love love your videos by the way, thank you! :)
I definitely recommend them! I personally don't use one, but I am looking more into it as it would have helped save SOOO many of my plants I killed in the beginning!
I just spit Mountain Dew across the room when you admired your plants! 😂 I can't agree more that set watering days are the best way to kill your plants. It usually works for hoya, peperomia, cacti & succulent people but if you're doing tropical foliage plants, herbs & flowering plants you will kill stuff. You saved many plant lives Harli. Great job Plant Mama!!! 👍 P.S. YES! "Watering with Harli" would be a great video.
*(EDIT update: I just found your "My weekly 300 Houseplant care routine!"- I forgot I have seen it before, I'm going to watch it again!) I agree with other comments that say that they would love to see a week of watering to learn from your routine. I am finding that as my collections grows... so does the challenge of finding an "easy" watering "routine" for my plants. I have most of them in self watering pots, but still, I have to check each pot and make sure they have water available at the bottom. Love your videos, your energy and all the information that you provide (with the great visuals!) are so helpful!- Thank you! 💖
i got a string of hearts for christmas last year and now i’m left with only one little “string” because i overwatered them ): but now i use a toothpick (like when your baking a cake) to check out the soil & my lonely SOH has been doing good with new growth ever since!
Hi Leslie! How are you? I use chopsticks to help see if my larger plants need to be watered or not. Toothpicks are a great for smaller plants. Thank you! Gerry 😎
I had the same thing happen to me, I ended up moving my lonely single string to a small terracotta pot. Great idea with the toothpick, will need to try that. I found a beautiful SOH that's currently in bloom, trying my best to do better this time!
Michelle Aispuro i moved my string into a small TC pot too! & i’ve been looking for a fuller one for at a reasonable price online bc i feel like i know better now haha, but good luck to you
HPE Teacher i should do that with my larger or not so succulent plants too. i really only use the toothpick with succulent plants because that’s how it was recommended to me, thank you! (:
I found this video so helpful. I'm just starting out with my houseplants and I'm having a difficult time gauging when I need to water and how much to water. I think making a weekly video on specific plant types and how to water them would be really helpful as well. I have a variety of different plants with different needs and would love to get some advice.
Yes!! A WOW video week of watering! Harli this video definitely rates in your top 5. Very informative! I over love my plants and have learned the hard way through trial and error that I know will keep happening. Thanks for all you do with your videos and IG etc. Your fellow plant lovers Soo appreciate you. And your mom, as well 🙂💜
Your intro was literally my weekend..i bought my first plant the second week of feb and this weekend my last haul took me to 40+ . I got home with all my new 🌱 babies and was so overwhelmed !!! The 🌱 struggle was real..
Could you do a video on suggested type of plants for types of pots...for example, a ceramic pot vs terracotta...if certain plants do with in one vs other.
With a few plants, watering was a breeze, especially bottom watering which really helped. I grouped plants with similar watering needs. Now, I only bottom water a select few about every 4 to 6 weeks because now I'm up to more than 50 plants (and counting got a butterfly plant and a fern yesterday) relegated to less than 48 square feet. I keep every one besides my mother zz plant, and 2 small golden pothos in a plant hanger inside. In the tropics, it's hot and the fan is on all night which makes it difficult to keep them at optimal temperature. I have a few hung in planters around the inside of the porch but the leaves get burned from the heat radiating off the roof. So my watering regimen is like yours: I check them every day to see how dry they are. I'm not doing too badly because I have a lot of new growth, though I just broke off the only leaf on my Philodendron red emerald (I think that's it's name) 😢. Oh, all plants are in a tray and are raised so when the extra water runs out it provides humidity. When the trays dry out, I pour more water in without watering the plant. It should be spring, but it feels like the height of summer, so I'm going to fill up a white bucket with water and place it among them. Its not cute, but aesthetic be damned. I also have a rain barrel just for my plants. Thanks for sharing Harli. Love your video as always.
Yes please do a weekly watering video! I recently purchased a calathea Zebrina and she a droopy plant but she perks up at night I researched it and has to do with sun. The first few days I was stressing cuz she’s my first calathea and I’ve seen many videos saying they are fussy plants
Yes! They are so fussy! Calathea plants do move like that, it's completely normal. It's all part of their circadian rhythm (: Thank you so much for watching!
Yes definitely do a week of watering video. I feel like there’s always someone who needs something everyday. Hopefully I’m not the only one. Love all ur videos Harli! Ur adorable and u make me feel like my addiction to all of my plants is normal! Lol. ❤️
Having a watering day nearly caused me to kill my plants when I first got them. I’ve finally got most of their watering needs down and have healthy plants. Now my MIL runs to me with her plant questions and I’m trying to help her revive her growing collection. I’d love to see a weekly watering video!
Iv got about 12 plants it's going up slowly as I'm taking clippings of them and any others while I'm out haha I like to put them in the bath tub once a week and run the shower over them like rain and let them drain and put them back seem to be growing well. And i kinda like doing its chance to check and see new growth ect your vids are great to watch glad iv found the channel.
Great video! My biggest problem with watering my plants is seeing they need water and I say to myself "I'm just going to do [blank] and come right back and water you!" but I never end up going back due to laziness or forgetting. SOOoo now I have a watering can or filtered water jugs on each floor in my house or in certain rooms where I keep a lot of plants in. This way I have no excuse and I'll water them on the spot.
I would be interested in your watering process for a week! Have you tried capillary watering? Or water spikes? ...looks like lowes has transitioned to self watering pots which is amazing to see in a large scale! Great video again.
Just use your finger, stick it about 2 inches down into the soil. If it’s dry, it’s time to water. Also buy a moisture meter just to be on the safe side. And check them whenever it comes to mind. I forget about my plants for days and randomly check the soil. If it’s dry I give them a little bottom water and it’s good to got for another week/week and a half or when I come back around and find the soil dry. It’s easy. I can’t believe I stressed so much about watering when I first started my plant collection. I was setting a weekly timer to water them all and then realized I didn’t need to do all of that unnecessary stuff.
Oooo very handy information about using tap or filtered water. I think I will definitely be collecting and using rain water , keep them plants happy and all! 🙌
I have noticed my leaves coming in so tiny with my arrowhead plant. Soil was dry, I watered with a plant food just to see if maybe she needed some of that. Wish me luck! Great video btw.😉
It is always good to see how others water so that would be a great video! Since I live in the desert and tend to love my plants too much, I found a moisture meter works for me before I water. At least now, I am not overwatering my Peperomias or Hoyas. With over 100 plants, it is a bit tedious but helps a lot!
Hah! Girl, I'm fortunate enough to work from home and I'm the same way! I get up every morning for about an hour and mess with my pants, lol. Usually by rooms tho. Bedroom, dining room, kitchen, outside even! And then I trey and squeeze sinew in after work too, lol. And then, of course, my at home office is full of plants, lol. And I also catch rainwater to water my plants. I'm looking into getting a barrel. I'm not sure if it's illegal in this state. ..Oh, and during the summer drought months, if I have to use tap water I fill up containers and let it sit for 48 hours before I give it to my plants.
Awesome Harli, great advice and tips on watering your houseplants. I will admit it took me a while to find that balance when I was caring for my houseplants, now I take a little time each day, to water to check for pests and to generally just admire them. I love my plants and find it is therapeutic to be around them and take care of them. Loved this video and appreciate your channel, always love watching them, thanks again, see you in your next one, Bye for now.
I could never keep anything alive! I either under watered or over watered! I got a moisture meter and I have not killed anything since (knock on wood) If you are a beginner especially, I definitely recommend a moisture meter!!
Harli G I also received today the Monstera Deliciosa I ordered from you and it’s so beautiful and I’m very excited to watch it grow and mature it’s amazing leaves! 🌿❤️
I either use water from my aquariums or distilled because my city water is horrible. I think they pump it straight out of ocean, add tons of chlorine and pump it to us. I'm only half kidding. I just dont trust it to water my little loves. I won't drink it, so I'm definitely not giving it to them. Also, Bottom watering helps conserve the amount I use. Definitely do the watering videos. You always manage to make giggle.
This is especially effectively for plants that have soft stems/leaves (african violets) and plants with succulent leaves (cacti, peperomia, etc). !!! I work as a florist and I've seen 1 too many plants lose leaves or die off because of rotting from being watered above
I think one good tip is to find out what the tap water in your area is like and what is added into it in the cleaning process. So for example, in my area they use chloramine for disinfecting the water. Unlike chlorine, that used to be commonly used, it is not a gas and thus will not evaporate with time. Neither does fluoride or calcium. So I have stopped leaving my water out, because that would actually increase the density of chemicals as some water evaporates while sitting out. I just use filtered water for my more sensitive plants and warm tap water for the less fussy ones.
Hey Harli, another great video, thank you! I've been collecting rain water too, and leaving my water out for a few days if it's from the tap. I'm definitely an overwaterer too! I did a little tour over on my small small channel. Your house is total plant goals! Thanks so much for your great content, I love watching you. 💚💚💚
Lol lol ... dope video and always so helpful . I am always learning something new from you or like “yes HARLI ME TOO” talking to you as if u can hear me lol - weirdo alert 🚨!!!
I just measure 1-2" from the soil to the lip of the pot. I pour water to that guideline. I let the soil dry out then repeat. I also mist the plants leaves morning, noon , and evening.. When watering, i use cold water so there is less oxygen loss. Sitting water has less oxygen. Look up dissolced oxygen. Plants enjoy it. The humidity keeps them happy. Have not lost a plant yet.
Good tips Harli! I really needed this video and will probably view it again to cement some of it in my brain. I’m an overwater plant person, just because I don’t want my plants to give up on me.
It would be cool if you could film a video telling us more about your plant stands and shelves. Love your videos! So informative and extremely useful, as I am just a beginner.
I love your videos :) a week of watering would be great to see. When I use tap water I let it sit out the night before, it dechlorinates naturally and my plants are noticeably happier 😊
Great video. I find watering 1x a week can kill some plants and light & humidity levels are also factors. Plants in large nonporous pots & succulents can easily develop rot if the soil is constantly wet. As you said, best to know the plant, feel weight of pot and ( I also use a meter) before watering.
Yayyyy! This video made my day. I recently got a Banana Croton as a gift. I freaked after researching. But knowing the “under-water method” should help. I’ve been misting him every morning and so far so good. Thanks HG! Love your vids!
Great tips on watering! It’s always a challenge to figure out, especially when you get a new plant! A video of watering through a week would be awesome!
The nursery guy said I was over watering my adasonii and lemon lime and told me to wait two weeks versus one to water . Also picked up a calathea of some sort I think and a slider plant. I figured those had been watered within the last 1-3 days and by waiting till the following weekend all plants would be on same scheduleish and I would have waited adequate time. All existing brown and yellow plants went more brown and beautiful new acquisituins which looked perfect upon purchase browned in THREE DAYS. they are in bathroom where I take baths so lots of humidity and two windows provide good sunlight . I don’t get how Im killing “easy” plants? I want to add I had adasonii for nine months and was always perfect... till the last month.
i use chopsticks to check the water in the soil. i have a cup full of them, use a dry one per plant, stick it in there and depending on the wetness i water. they are cheap and re-useable. you can always use your fingers!
Thanx harli for sharing useful information. Today while watering plants i noticed a new yellow leaf of monstera deliciosa. I'm really shocked to see that it's been over watered. Kindly share some tips as the pot is too big n i want my monstera to bring life. 😊
Love your videos! Could you do a full video of bottom watering all your different types of plants 😩🙏🏽 would love that so much. Obsessed w your vids and your voice is super soothing 😘
I'd love if you could please do a watering schedule!!! I am also an admitted helicopter mom over my plants. I'm still in the stage of discovering what amounts/times to water, but lean heavily on the overwatering side, oops, right? So I bought a moisture meter, comes with light and pH levels, for about $8. But I was interpreting the instructions incorrectly and thought my goal was to keep it around that recommended dampness more days than not..!! Oh no!!!I would get very uneasy when my plant's soil would pull back from the too big terracotta pot. Ahhh! It's dry!!! Meanwhile the middle ended up being soggy. Now my African violets are back in the plastic nursery pots they came in,same with the peperomias I've bought since. I hear that is not necessarily a bad thing,as long as the soil is right. Harli, what are your fav pots and why? Are some sentimental? Peace out happy girl!🌱
Ahaha I love the intro! I love your videos and your content. I can definitely relate because I started off with one tiny cactus and ended up with 60+ houseplants. It was definitely overwhelming at first until i figured out a watering schedule.
Live the new style intro 😀 I am in the „oh no you’re all bone dry let’s get you to the sink“ camp. Doesn’t do any good for some of my plants for sure. Also takes a lot of time to do this with all of my plants.. and I only have around 30!
Hi Harli! Great video! Yes, a weekly watering video would be nice because I have a variety of different plants with different needs and would love to see how you water them.
This is such a great and informative video, thank you! Yes, please film a week of watering, that would be awesome to see. I've been trying to collect rain water as well, but I need more containers, living in Oregon I should get plenty. Have a great day! :)
Can a plant soak up too much water if you leave it in the bottom water container for an hour or 2 because you uhhhhh forgot it? I did this today with 2 new hoyas 🤔😱😢😩 will they be ok?
Hi Harli, how do you avoid dropping water everywhere during watering? I have a few tall plants that are getting too heavy to lift. Some of them have saucers but not big enough to hold all the water. For a monster, plant, I use a big basin, but when I finish watering, it requires me to drain my plant somewhere else to assure it drained all the way. It results in water everywhere in the living room. :(
Hi Harli! I’m so grateful for your videos. I purchased my biggest plant yesterday (silver bay aglaonema), watched this video, got so excited, and when I watered it, the water that came out of the draining hole was yellow! Do you know what the heck that’s about?
i always wonder why no plant you tuber ever mentions adding aquarium de-chlorinator drops to plant water. Maybe the hobby of fish keeping and plant keeping never intersect? Anyway, they intersect in my life, lol. I have highly chlorinated tap water. I just add aquarium water conditioner to my watering cans and never have a problem with my prayer plants getting the dreaded brown tips. It takes only a few drops and act immediately. Hope it helps.
Omg your intro- so me rn! Hahaha Love all your vids! A weekly watering routine video sounds like a lot of work on your part, but if you find the time, I’d love to see it. Also- You’ve casually mention your mom and her channel a few times in your videos. I’d love to check her channel out!! Maybe share her info in the ‘down below’ box alongside of all of your social media handles? Thanks for so MUCH great plant content!!! I’ve been home sick for a week and just been on a plant video binge haha.
Hey Harli!!! How do you, or anyone else reading this, feel about watering with fish tank water? I prefer bottom watering, I find that it helps me prevent fungus gnats and overwatering
Hi Jessica! I don't have fish tanks now; but, I did many years ago. Using that water helped me have the healthiest, most beautiful plants of my entire life! I would LOVE to have that setup again; but, I'm too old & disabled nowadays. If you're having good results from it, you're NOT alone! I've read lots of accounts of fish + plant people getting great results currently. Good luck!
My tip is to use a plant watering app Most of them are free, and it’s basically like an alarm for your plants, if you stick to the app schedule you never have to wonder “didn’t I just water this plant?”, inevitably under or over watering I keep a log of when I have fertilized/ used pesticide on each plants in the app so I don’t burn the leaves. I’ve used the app for two months and I haven’t killed one of my plants, all of them are thriving
I would love another video on watering; your tips are so helpful and are helping me keep my plants so happy! Thanks! Do you watch Planterina? She's so awesome, like you!
I just built a green house out of glass doors. 9x9x9. I'm growing marijuana. 😌. But watering and nutrients is very stressful. Cause u can't undo watering. What's the best schedule for a type of plant like this. Every 3rd day ? How much . And what kind of water?. I think your plants are awesome 👌
This is a fantastic video Harli! I laughed a lot at the intro - really well done and not cheesy at all. I have two questions - I live in a flat, how would I go about collecting rain water? And do you have any tips for fatsia japonica care? I can’t find a lot online and I can’t figure her out. Quite a few crispy leaves and she doesn’t seem to be growing!
Wow Harli this has to be one your best videos, very important info and you've covered Everything....I'll be referring to this often!! I just examine the plants everyday and feel the leaves and soil, remembering their individual needs. I also don't empty the pot saucer for certain plants that don't need watering often. I guess I should use rain water now since your description sounds so good!!😊
Hi hi new subscriber I love your personality and your videos! You make so many helpful videos! I’m not sure if you’ve mentioned this in a video before but I was wondering if you do any herb growing or any eatable plant growing if not, why not? If yes, what kind? Also, video idea: could you try those “5 minute garden hacks” video hacks that are really popular I think I would be really cool to see that. Last thing, this video was really helpful I’m new to the plant life I’ve had plants all my life but now I’m growing my collection to the double digit number and it excited and watering is so difficult bc I’m never home enough and I don’t remember and can’t find an equal medium of watering plants. Okay finally last thing (idk if you’ll seee this but if ANYONE sees this help me out please) I’ve been introduced to hydrospiking and I wanted to know if you do that to some of your plants and I wanted to know if it’s okay for me to do that for every plant I own..?
My prayer plant hasn’t had any new growth since I bought I about a month ago and the bigger leaves are turning yellow pretty quick. I do try to keep the humidity higher near it and to keep it more on the moist side. Any tips or idea why no new growth? Thanks 🙏
Thank you for your lovely videos. That would be lovely if you can take us around your home and water your plants so we can do the same. I love your inspiring videos.
your intro made my morning :) thanks as always for the great content, keep it up! and i'd love to see a week of watering video, it'd be really interesting to see you bottom water your peperomias and calatheas
Thanks Nicole! I am so awkward it hurts me to think back on editing it haha, but I am glad you enjoyed it. (: I will definitely film the week of watering!
Great video, a lot of tips, very helpful. Thanks! BTW, do you recommend putting some plants with the same watering needs in the same pot or is better to keep them separate?
Love this. I use distilled water and the soil you recommended with the worm castings. Now that March is here I will start fertilizing🙂 I'd love to see a watering video from you everyday!
One gallon of distilled water is less than $1 at Wal-Mart. I have less plants than you, but I use about three gallons a week. That includes filling my essential oil diffusers. My happy place...essential oils and lots of plants!🙂
Extremely helpful!! I do take all my plants to the sink to water but it's getting overwhelming... I might need to split that job into two days. Lol Thank you!!! So I have a question... have you ever tried adding hydrogen peroxide to your plant water to kill fungus gnats? I've seen that being done but just wanted your opinion. So I have a q
I've seen that, too! Hydrogen peroxide is also an ingredient in a Plant "pick-me-up" tonic recipe that I've seen. I don't have fungus gnats; but, I don't want them, either! I'm going to use that recipe this Spring & Summer for some of my hanging baskets of annuals, too! If you'd like to have the recipe, just let me know! Take care! Plant love! 🌾💜
i have a problem with my spider plant. hes hanging by a north window. the leaves are very pale green and droopy and it doesnt give babies. the other plant is a philodendron is very leggy and a few leaves turn yellow. hes not in direct sunlight.
Hi Harli !!!!! One thing that works really well for my plants and they grow healthy is egg water. Every time I boil eggs for breakfast, I let the water cool off and save the water for when I'm ready to water. They grow healthy and shiny. 😊🌻

So helpful. I think a week following you around would be a great video
Very good to know! Thank you so much for watching & for the feedback.

I bottom water all of my plants, it's helped with my gnat problem as well!
Oh yes! That's definitely an added benefit (:
How much time u let em soak?
How much water need in winter in London
Yes please do a weekly watering video! I recently purchased a calathea Zebrina and she a droopy plant but she perks up at night I researched it and has to do with sun. The first few days I was stressing cuz she’s my first calathea and I’ve seen many videos saying they are fussy plants

I can totally relate to just watering gradually as I skim through my plants. Loved your video💕
It makes it so much more relaxing in my opinion! Thank you!
Girl... I needed this video so badly!
Also, why is the beginning 100% me. 😂
HAHA I wish I wasn't so awkward in the beginning hahaha I 100% regret not cutting that part :P

I have not! I've looked into it, but just haven't implemented anything yet. Thank you for watching!
Can you share some advice on using the water meter? 😊 Just got one!
My whole life explained at the beginning of the video, haha! Really helpful and useful information, thank you so much Harli! 🌱🌿❤️
I'm glad you found it relatable :P I was worried I would be the only one! thank you so much for watching!
My tip is perlite. It helps to make soil drain better. It has been a game changer for me
I’ve never tried bottom watering.. I might now!!!
This is especially effectively for plants that have soft stems/leaves (african violets) and plants with succulent leaves (cacti, peperomia, etc). !!! I work as a florist and I've seen 1 too many plants lose leaves or die off because of rotting from being watered above
It makes such a difference! Especially in more delicate plants (:
YES. Everything you said!
Omg the intro I can’t 😂😂
Hey Harli, another great video, thank you! I've been collecting rain water too, and leaving my water out for a few days if it's from the tap. I'm definitely an overwaterer too! I did a little tour over on my small small channel. Your house is total plant goals! Thanks so much for your great content, I love watching you. 💚💚💚
I will head over & watch your video! I am excited to see your Jungalow. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video! I appreciate you.
@@HarliG Totally fangirlling that you commented on my video ☺😆Thanks so much for checking it out!
hi, i am an agriculture student and i made a video explaining when you should water your plants: ua-cam.com/video/LVEm_6CizQ8/v-deo.html
A week of watering would be good. Enjoy your videos
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I definitely plan to film the video now (:
Would definitely like to see a watering video!
MY favorite watering hack is to water with fish water if you happen to have a tank! It's filled with loads of nutrients that plants go nuts for!!!
Lol lol ... dope video and always so helpful . I am always learning something new from you or like “yes HARLI ME TOO” talking to you as if u can hear me lol - weirdo alert 🚨!!!
Haha thank you!! That makes me so happy! Totally not weird, I do the same thing when I'm watching youtube haha
Yes I would like to see weekly watering plant .👍❤😁
I think I'm going to film one soon! Quite a few people have said they want to see. Thank you for letting me know (:
Good tips Harli! I really needed this video and will probably view it again to cement some of it in my brain. I’m an overwater plant person, just
because I don’t want my plants to give up on me.
That's how I think too!
I’m a total newbie so your tips are just great. If you can recommend what plants I should get for the bathroom that would be great thanks 🌿🌱
That is a really good practice to do! I'm sure your plants are super thankful you do that (:
Great video. I find watering 1x a week can kill some plants and light & humidity levels are also factors. Plants in large nonporous pots & succulents can easily develop rot if the soil is constantly wet. As you said, best to know the plant, feel weight of pot and ( I also use a meter) before watering.
Harli, you always crack me up! I love that you have a plant obsession and we get to share in your joy of plants!
Thank you so much! You are so great
Yayyyy! This video made my day. I recently got a Banana Croton as a gift. I freaked after researching. But knowing the “under-water method” should help. I’ve been misting him every morning and so far so good. Thanks HG! Love your vids!
Yay! You got this! Thank you so much for watching!
It's like you're in my head lol I just caught the Bug so thank you !!!
I love your videos so much!! i wish they were longer, i could watch all day!!!
i use chopsticks to check the water in the soil. i have a cup full of them, use a dry one per plant, stick it in there and depending on the wetness i water. they are cheap and re-useable. you can always use your fingers!
I use my fish tank water, because it contains all those nitrates :)
I would love to see a week of watering video! Someday I'd like a huge plant collection, but starting small for now
Thanx harli for sharing useful information.
That calathea warscewiczii in that bottom watering shot looked SO GOOD.
Plant Plebe thank you! That plant has been surprisingly easy going. I was worried when I brought it home a few months ago!
@@HarliG I just got one, and I cant stop touching it's leaves. It certainly is a stunner!
Ahaha I love the intro! I love your videos and your content. I can definitely relate because I started off with one tiny cactus and ended up with 60+ houseplants. It was definitely overwhelming at first until i figured out a watering schedule.
Yes a weekly water video would be great😁😁🤗🤗🤗
Live the new style intro 😀 I am in the „oh no you’re all bone dry let’s get you to the sink“ camp. Doesn’t do any good for some of my plants for sure. Also takes a lot of time to do this with all of my plants.. and I only have around 30!
Hi Harli! Great video! Yes, a weekly watering video would be nice because I have a variety of different plants with different needs and would love to see how you water them.
Hey! Thank you! I plan to film it in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for taking the time to let me know you'd be interested in it!
Week of watering would be cool to see 👌thank you for the tips, I'm currently getting rid of some fungus gnats so good video timing!
Great intro and awesome information. I want to start collecting rain water as well. Thanks for sharing ☺️👍❤️.
This is such a great and informative video, thank you! Yes, please film a week of watering, that would be awesome to see. I've been trying to collect rain water as well, but I need more containers, living in Oregon I should get plenty. Have a great day! :)
The week of watering video would be super helpful!
Great tips. I’m interested in that type or any type of video. Thanks for sharing. Wow almost 20,000 subs!! Congratulations!!!!🎈
Thank you so much Kathy! I have had so much fun on this whole youtube thing, time is just flying by! IT's crazy.
Can you do a fiddle leaf fig tree care video and a Ficus Audrey Bush care video? 🌱🌿🍃❤️
Please do this, Harli!?!?! My Ficus Audrey is miserable! HELP!!!
Do you know what the heck that’s about?
i always wonder why no plant you tuber ever mentions adding aquarium
de-chlorinator drops to plant water. Maybe the hobby of fish keeping and
plant keeping never intersect? Anyway, they intersect in my life, lol. I
have highly chlorinated tap water. I just add aquarium water
conditioner to my watering cans and never have a problem with my prayer
plants getting the dreaded brown tips. It takes only a few drops and act
immediately. Hope it helps.
Omg your intro- so me rn! Hahaha
Love all your vids!
You probably found her mom's channel by now, but in case you haven't it's Stef Hall ^^
Good luck!
😭😭I’ve been drowning my plant
My tip is to use a plant watering app
Most of them are free, and it’s basically like an alarm for your plants, if you stick to the app schedule you never have to wonder “didn’t I just water this plant?”, inevitably under or over watering
I keep a log of when I have fertilized/ used pesticide on each plants in the app so I don’t burn the leaves.
I’ve used the app for two months and I haven’t killed one of my plants, all of them are thriving
What app do you recommend?
I guess I should use rain water now since your description sounds so good!!😊
Thank you Elvan! (: Rainwater is worth a shot for sure!
I would love a week of care for your plants
Can you share with us what over fertilization looks like? Can you save a plant after that happens and what does that look like?
If I closed my eyes, I'd swear I was listening to Kylie Jenner talking about watering her plants 🤣
Jeez I just did it by looking away & now I can’t un-hear it 🙅🏽♀️
My prayer plant hasn’t had any new growth since I bought I about a month ago and the bigger leaves are turning yellow pretty quick. I do try to keep the humidity higher near it and to keep it more on the moist side. Any tips or idea why no new growth? Thanks 🙏
Thank you for your lovely videos. That would be lovely if you can take us around your home and water your plants so we can do the same. I love your inspiring videos.
your intro made my morning :)
thanks as always for the great content, keep it up! and i'd love to see a week of watering video, it'd be really interesting to see you bottom water your peperomias and calatheas
Thanks Nicole! I am so awkward it hurts me to think back on editing it haha, but I am glad you enjoyed it. (: I will definitely film the week of watering!
I would love to watch a week of watering
This video was so helpful! Loved it ❤
Great video, a lot of tips, very helpful. Thanks! BTW, do you recommend putting some plants with the same watering needs in the same pot or is better to keep them separate?
Love this. I use distilled water and the soil you recommended with the worm castings. Now that March is here I will start fertilizing🙂 I'd love to see a watering video from you everyday!
Have you noticed a difference with the distilled water? I have been considering getting a water distiller they're just so pricey & take forever to do!
One gallon of distilled water is less than $1 at Wal-Mart. I have less plants than you, but I use about three gallons a week. That includes filling my essential oil diffusers. My happy place...essential oils and lots of plants!🙂
I almost killed my spider plant with tap water 😅 I should have seen this video before, now I'm letting the water sit for a while before I water her
If it's not illegal where you live, you could also collect rain water! My plants have really been loving it!
