I had a heart attack, and while in operating room I flat lined IE died. At that time I had a visitor, my mother who had died many years prior. At that time I had no religion in my life, ok I never did. Several years passed then I met my Guardian Angels or Missionaries as the Church calls them. I was baptized in January and have not looked back. The Church of LDS is the restoration of God's devine plan and I am so grateful to be a part of it.

I have been complaining a lot and I just realized that Christ has talkes to me so many time these days. I always question why he doesn’t talk to us face to face like in the scriptures, but now I’m feel comfortable and I can confirm that I have heard him. Thank you sister, for reminding me about the time he talked to me.

After I read this report and listened to her video presentation I proceeded to communicate with my wife who had passed away 12 years ago. The information I received and the explanation for her death while we were in the MTC at that time, was made known to me. What a wonderful peaceful feeling came to me to have that understanding. I also was led to understand that the mission we were going to serve together was changed and she continued in her mission call in postmortal life and I served a mission that God wanted me to serve on the San Diego Temple grounds as a missionary where I met and talked to thousands of people from all around the world and made many referrals for missionaries to teach them in their own country.

@@travismarin2595 "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, except he has the Spirit of God. ... But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Cor 2:11, 14 JST).
Please, read 2 Kings 6:8-23, that quickly covers a small war between Syria and Israel. The Syrian king planned and sent an army to attack Israel. The Lord warned Israel through Israel's prophet, Elisha, telling Israel's king where the Syrian army was camped. Details are scant, but the king of Israel sent a body there and in some manner avoided, or otherwise spoiled, Syria's planned attack. Sorely troubled by his defeat, the king of Syria asked his entourage which among them betrayed him to reveal their plans, and one servant told him about Israel's prophet Elisha who could know from God what words the king speaks in private.
The Syrian king (?Ben-hadad?; Israel's king was ?Ahab) then sent a "great host" with horses and chariots to encircled the city Dothan by night, where Elisha was living on/by a mountain, to forcibly take him before the king (probably to question and confirm that Elisha had helped Israel defeat Syria's army and then kill Elisha). The young servant of Elisha was first to see the Syrian battle host early in the morning and asked Elisha what they should do. Elisha was already seeing, but prayed to ask the Lord to open his servant's spirit eyes to see a battle host, greater in number, of horses and fiery chariots sent by God to protect them. Elisha said, "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them" (verse 16).
The rest of this story tells other miracles of Elisha praying to ask the Lord to blind (probably mentally, not physically, as in a Jedi mind trick) the Syrian host, his physically leading them from Dothan to Israel's king in the then-capital city Samaria (then praying and removing the blindness), and instead of the king's killing them all, the Lord through Elisha led the king mercifully to feed them a full meal and send them home to Syria. Once there, at least for a long while or until a later Syrian king, Syria no more attacked Israel!
Anyway, you might not have faith, which gives the ability to perceive, see and learn spiritual things, the things of God, including, as God may permit, this man's "communicat[ing] with [his] wife who had passed away 12 years ago." However, if you don't have it, faith is a gift of God you (any man, woman or child) can receive by seeking it. This turned out way longer than I planned, the work to tell the story from 2 Kings 6. Believe in God, Travis, pray to Him and then have a more blessed day because of those two actions!

I just now had a "How do you hear him" experience just before watching this video.
My husband and I were on the last day of our stay-cation in our trailer. I was starting to prepare dinner when suddenly the names of 2 sisters I had worked with in the temple came to my mind. One had been my trainer and the other was the Supervisor of my shift. It was expressed to me to pray for them, and so I did. I have no idea why they needed my prayers as we haven't been in touch since the closing of the temple because of Covid.
I'm so grateful and humbled by this experience and I so appreciate your sharing yours Sister Johnson.

It's true, while watching this video God reminded me of an incidence, one day I was praying to God and all of a sudden my son came to me kept his hand on my head and said "I Love You", I think I was praying to God for his presence or may be something.. that moment I felt God is there and ge is saying to me that I Love you my child. God is Love and truly there's none like him, his ways are amazing he never leaves our sides coz he loved us when we were/are still sinners... He didn't created us to perish but have eternal life with him. So if any of you are feeling that everything has ended or there's no hope left just take one look at the cross and every drop of blood that he has shed for us and ask him for his forgiveness he will show you how much he has loved you abd and still loves you and he is always waiting for us to come to him. Thank you God for speaking to us... God loves you❤️

Brother Jeremy (I'm Josiah Freeman), I don't need to see and know you (in this life) to tell you I love you and that I know God loves you! I haven't heard His voice directly, in this life, either. However, I believe others have and do and that it is my privilege to believe on their words (please, see John 20:29 [24-31]).
This life is a "closed-book" test of our faith and willingness to obey God (definitely not open-book, but not totally closed, either, with spiritual helps available); to remember this is +vital+ to succeed! It is common, the natural result of a closed-book test, for us not to recognize God's voice in our lives, both through others and directly. In God's perfect justice and mercy, EVERYONE will have just and merciful opportunity to experience God's voice before being judged whether we had ourselves ready to hear and listening and how we responded. And whether we find Him sooner or later, the gift of eternal life is paid the same to each person who finds and follows Him! (Please, read Jesus' parable in Matthew 20:1-16.) Be encouraged! Now, let me carry on with other work and repentance I need/God wants me to do.... Have a more blessed day! :)

We as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God. We read it and learn from it just as much as the Book of Mormon. If we didn't worship him, why would we have his name in our church's title? And why wouldn't Jesus want others to hear his voice? The answer is, all children of God - all humans, that is - are among the sheep of Jesus Christ, and he loves us all.

    • @nathanbanks2935
      @nathanbanks2935 2 роки тому

      Jefftube58,
Jesus Christ taught that we should do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who despitefully use us and persecute us. So I'm praying for you brother. Also I can say to you that I love you, and that God loves you also very much. When it comes down to it, why I now know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's New Testament Church restored, is because of the fact that by their works you shall know them. I'm not bragging at all I'm just stating facts, but the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps millions of people around the world financially, not just members of Christ's church, as well as provides education, etc. Jesus Christ also taught that a house divided against itself cannot stand, so a church that teaches so strongly the Divinity of Jesus Christ, that he died for our sins, sicknesses, afflictions, etc, and rose again the third day to overcome the sting of death, cannot possibly be of Satan, or an untrue Church. I'm not stating here that we are saved by our works alone. Jesus Christ is the one who saves, or exalts. Of course we believe that it is by grace that we are saved in the kingdom of God, but we have to exercise Faith to access His Grace. God won't save those who don't love him, and our good works are a result of showing our love for God and all mankind.
God bless you to find peace and joy in Christ in your life.

The spiritual good signs of the time need studying , for if not the good might get confused by the warning signs of all the earthly troubles and not understand the good signs be as important to learn.
The Good signs of the time before the second coming need studying.
They be by the last dispensation in the Fullness to , eternity both Bible and book of Mormon , sealing the signs together firts and last making the last firts.
The good and wonderful signs be , to the faith done by work for the salt of the earth understanding the inheritance to the good signs of the time , to put in order by the living Prophets and the special witnesses.
Its by the desires of the heart to opportunity and blessings that we be by the studying to all the signs just not the noticeable ones but by work done to notice the authority.
Its how the spirit speaks to me so the millennium aint miserable for everyone .
If we seek and pray be submissive and come to heaven like a child we can be ok not offended by the faith to be shown the work to field and the Priesthood authority to be by all the days of their life a burden to yoke no different than a mothers burden children , yoke the burden of Jesus Christ to his people.
It's how I hear the spirit is by what I faith and what I dont and what I know so the learned inside me lives by faith to strive .
The spirit teach me the learned think they know.
Its a sign of the times that second coming the call that pride go before the fall, be a sin , if we don't understand to be submissive as a child to understand the good signs of the time to follow the second coming.
Pride Go before the fall , Adam fell that man might be , pray study the manifestation is to your work and faith to be shown it by truth to gospel principles and by Prophets teaching.
By another testament of Jesus Christ and in his name Jesus Christ name Amen.

Read and pray about the Bible like you do the book of Mormon and you'll find the truth. Any Mormons reading this start in Romans and read it and pray about it and fast about it like you do the book of Mormon and I promise you you will never be Mormon again. Please please I beg you to do that please

Jason, im going to ask you a question. What would it mean if the Book of Mormon is indeed scripture and the events recorded in the Book of Mormon did take place?

You know I wish we could use Jesus Christ’s full name, instead of the shortcut “him”, who is him? I think our Savior deserves the one more second of our time it takes to say his actual name, don’t you?

I think he’s referred to as “him” often so there’s less instance of using his name too often and thus not treating his name with the respect he deserves. Just my thoughts

Love your message - but PLEASE work on your “vocal fry.” It is creeping into our language and is especially endemic among young women.
