The young man standing behind Tom Petty is George Harrison's son. George wrote and recorded this song when he was with the Beatles. Absolutely the epitome of a rock and roll classic. The Beatles influenced so many of the musicians today. They changed the music world forever.
Prince literally shredded that solo. Widely considered in the music industry to be the all time best guitar player ever and he played about every instrument. Somewhere there's a video of him playing drums with Sheila E playing percussion, it's beautiful. Stevie Winwood is the keyboard player here, quite the musical genius on his own right. The song was written by George Harrison of the Beatles, I urge you to listen to the original.
Not a chance. Page himself sad prince was better than he was. None on your list is better than even Glen Cambell whom Van Halen wanted lessons from. They may be hard players but they aren't great players. I'd have respected you if Les Paul or Mark Knopfler was on your list but no.
What a great version of this song! On the original Beatle's release, the weeping guitar was provided by George Harrison's good friend, Eric Clapton. Eric returned the favor when he had Harrison provide the iconic guitar riffs for Cream's "Badge". Of course Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Bob Dylan all played together in the super group The Traveling Wilburys.
My wife and I love Prince! One of my favorite solos. Warmed my hear to see your reaction, and you nailed it, he was such a beautiful creature. Thank you for sharing
This song was a George Harrison song. George was known as the quiet Beatle. Like many quiet people, they don't speak often but when they do what they say is worth listening to. It took George some time to catch up to the famous writing team of Lennon/Mcartney But when he did he contributed some masterworks. This was one of them.
Britt, if you love the Tom Petty/Jeff Lynne harmonies; you’re in for a treat!! Check out The Traveling Wilburys where both of them, George Harrison (the one this tribute was for), Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison played around and blessed us with an amazing record right prior to the passing of Orbison.
The guy playing the weeping guitar in the body of the song is Marc Mann. He is a writer, producer and session musician. He has done quite a bit of work with Jeff since the 90's.
People have known this about Prince literally for decades bruh! 😂😂😂.. It was a mic drop moment for people on UA-cam who never seen Prince perform before lol
@@YourMothersMan Except he was still massively under appreciated. People tended to discount him from the conversation of greatest guitarist. This solo is basically what put him on peoples lists.
Tom Petty loved playing music with other artists, when the show began he made sure everyone had their own showcase to show off their best talents they had. Tom Petty never really interrupted them, all he did was play the back up and watched other talent go.
OK I see you niece. This auntie is happy that you reacted to ""My Guitar Gently Weeps". Such an iconic mix of talented/legendary musicians doing what they do best, performing/sharing their GOD given talent/talents with us, the fans. Chefs kiss 🖤🖤🖤❤❤❤
The amount of talent on that stage is amazing. I had heard Prince almost backed out of it but changed his mind after talking to Tom Pretty. That would explain Tom's smirk when he kept playing in front of him.
Prince’s Superbowl performance remains the Best. It’s raining, he doesn’t focus on his music, but pays homage to other artists….There will never be another. You must deep dive.
There's a great production documentary on UA-cam about that. Producer calls to Prince, "it's forcasted to pour the rain". Prince: "can you bake it rain harder?". Well alright....
You ask, "Is Prince gonna sing?" He didn't just make it sing, he made it weep!!! I guess he wanted to prove a point. Definitely one of the greatest artists and musicians of any generation.
Prince was the greatest musician of our lifetime. He played 23 instruments but the guitar was like an extension of his hands. He was amazing. His death & Tom Petty's both hit me hard. Their music meant & still means so much to me. 2 of the greats, gone too soon 💔
I loved his guitar toss and strut off as though he were saying, "I don't need this anymore. There's no music left in it." 😅 And yes, that guitar solo brings tears to my eyes every time. Thanks for the reaction!
Great reaction. I love Prince! There are only two guitar players that bring me to tears when I watch them perform, Prince and Stevie Ray Vaughan. My heart aches that they are both gone.
This is one of my favorite reaction videos ever! In my humble opinion, Prince was the most gifted artist of my lifetime. And in addition to the talent, every artist who has the ability to own their masters has him to thank for it!
I still find it so hard this late in my life when people don’t recognize a Beatle song! George wrote this song and was one of his biggest hits! I am really shocked because their music is everywhere!
:Supposedly, Prince didn't show up for rehearsal, so the group wasn't sure if would show up for the performance. So a lot of the looks at Steve was Prince making sure he could continue with the solo. This was also after right Rolling Stone's 100 greatest guitarists issue and Prince wasn't listed at all, and many felt Prince was disrespected. This performance was probably a middle finger to the magazine .
Written by the great and highly underrated George Harrison, my fave Beatle. Does not get any better, Prince and The Beatles-two of the the most fabulous and influential acts to ever grace the stage. Not to mention the great Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne.
Britt, I loved your shock and awe reaction to Prince's performance, and especially @9:42 where you say: "Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I call making love to the guitar and making it weep at the same time."
I haven't seen it mentioned but Jeff Lynne, of ELO, and the singer, was also in The Travelling Wilburys. Comprising, Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. A short-lived group because it was created when they were all together in one place. I saw Jeff Lynne's ELO in 2018 here in Newcastle. I bought my first ELO album back in 1976.
Tom Petty (The Heartbreakers, The Traveling Wilburys) - lead vocals, guitar Jeff Lynne (ELO, The Traveling Wilburys) - co-lead vocals, guitar Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith) - organ Dhani Harrison - guitar, backing vocals Jeff Young (Jackson Browne) - piano Marc Mann (ELO, Oingo Boingo) - lead guitar Scott Thurston (The Motels, The Heartbreakers) - bass Steve Ferrone (AWB, Duran Duran, The Heartbreakers) - drums Jim Capaldi (Traffic) - persussion, tambourine Prince - soul, swagger, heat, sexiness George Harrison - spiritual guidance Eric Clapton - blues inspiration Jimi Hendrix - cosmic influence
As a guy that holds Prince the highest of any male solo artist,i love this reaction! (sure,he had his bands over the years, but he was in the front and being focused on,the bands were simply to back him up) I even got teased and even bullied for loving his music so much, while also calling myself a metal head and being heavy into Metallica,so over the years i changed my attitude around. I only say that im a music lover now,and if people still ask what im listening to,im like "abit of everything!". I still identify as a metal head, but i listen to all kinds of music,it just depends on the mood and day. I never buckled under pressure, and i have to admit i loved Prince`s savage way of stealing this performance. Many called it a disrespect towards the other artists, and i seem to remember someone getting heated over how he pushed his guitar solo on and on,i believe some of the other performers went into abit of a "okay, now you are just overdoing it Prince!" type of mind lol. But Prince did it for a reason,he felt underappreciated for his guitar skills,so he wanted to prove himself to whoever ran thoose lists. You know Prince is fed up if he tosses the guitar, all sassy and savagely, and just walks off the stage with that "diva strut". 🤣I did not see eye to eye with alot of his opinions etc,but i managed to look past it and i still loved him as a performing, singing, composing, writing genius! Prince was going in on Michael Jackson, and Michael teased him back on any opportunity he got. But when Michael Jackson died, there was a story of someone knowing Prince. I cant come up with the name now. I think he went up with Prince on a roof somewhere, where they would just sit and talk and admire the landscape, great view they had. I think Prince watched at the stars at one point, and this person said Prince would NOT stop talking about Michael in a complimentary way. He just poured his soul about the loss of Michael and how great of a musician he was. So it was a rivalry there yes,but Prince had the outmost respect for Michael and cared for him. So a friendly rivalry more then anything,Prince wanted to overtake the throne from Michael,he wanted to have the same success and more,he had great goals for himself, but deep inside there was no grudge or hatred at all from Princes side. Prince looked at Michael as a track and field sprinter look at his teammate,in a relay run they are buddies but in solo sprints they want to beat eachother,be faster and better then the other. So in many ways,MJs fame was the absolute inspiration and motivation for Prince. And that lead to Prince making Purple Rain and actually bypassing MJ for the first time. Many good documentaries on YT about thoose 2,i think 1 even includes Madonna. Prince actually locked himself in for days, calling off his own rehearsal and sent his bandmates home, after he heard about MJs passing. And i just looked it up real quick,it wasnt a celebrity but a close friend of Prince actually,Tavis Smiley. I recommend this documentary for you Britt: Prince on His Rivalry with Michael Jackson! Candidly In His Own Words | the detail.
Prince didn’t get a chance to rehearse with the band and just went up and raw dogged this appearance and hit it out of the park. Miss you Prince. Rest well.
One of the best collaborations ever. It's amazing how George Harrison's son (acoustic guitar) looks so much like his father. It's originally a Beatles song. I grew up with the Beatles, and it's amazing to think that none of the Beatles knew how to read or write music.
Prince's guitar playing was simply amazing! Incredible. The whole group or artists are stars in their own right and deserved a bit more attention as well as the tribute to a great George Harrison.
I may get flogged by die-hards for saying this, but 'PurpleRain' and the 'BATMAN sountrack' are right up there with 'Sign 'O The Times' for me. The first because it tells the story of my teens (pretty much). The secong because it's all over the place and playfull - I just have the biggest smile on when done with this soundtrack 🙂 SO glad that I was fortunate enough to witness him live before he passed away ... R.I.P. my beautiful one
Prince found out he was left off the list of the best 100 guitar players. Guess he showed them what a huge mistake that was! Go back and look at a picture of George Harrison in his younger years. Then look at the young man next to Tom. That's George's son. They look so much alike it gave me chills. So glad you enjoyed it as much as I did ☮️
Talents like Prince are exceptionally rare. He was an instrumental, vocal, and lyrical genius. Like another commenter said, he's the Mozart of our day.
This is from the evening Prince was inducted into the RRHF and George Harrison was posthumously inducted. Prince is beyond amazing. He's a one man army 💜
Oh Prince - the most talented musician of all time, the GOAT. I always thought of him as the baby of James Brown's funk and dance, Jimi Hendrix's guitar and Little Richard's audaciousness. What a mix! Probably the only one that could dance at Michael Jackson's level back in the day. He did it all and thank God we have the music to remind us of that. Can't even recommend where you'd start with him.
I just found you because someone posted your reaction in a Prince group I'm in on Facebook. I loved your reaction! It's beautiful to see you involved IN the music- you get it. Makes me want to grab you by the hand and help you dive deeper into his music! Prince was special. His talent was amazing. There are people who have listened to everything he's ever done, know every word and musical phrase by heart and when we would see him in concert or get our hands on a new album, he would continue to surprise us every single time. His versatility was unmatched- he lived and breathed music- not genres not any one specific grouping, he just made music because he was called to do so. I think him being so shy and not always easy to understand as a person put people in the biz off, he was given bad wraps a out things. But he never looked at making music as something that would make him a better human, he was himself. Someone who just loved to play at the end of the day. Thank you for your reaction! It's beautiful to see you on the journey! 💜
The reason this is such a great song is because it is a Beatles song. And these guys do a GREAT job on it, and of course Prince’s solo is now famous on this copy of it. A GREAT rendition of a GREAT song. It’s fun to watch someone appreciate how great a song is that I have love for many years. This song is beautiful, and so are you Thank you, and may God Bless
The Beatles were master songwriters Britt. The reason you love the part with the lyric "I don't Know Why-i-i" so much is because the song changes keys from A minor to A Major during that part. The Beatles(John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison) were absolute masters of songwriting, lyrics, and melody. This is a song George Harrison wrote.
The guy in sunglasses, and that special voise, is Jeff Lynn, the genius of Elictric light orchestra. If you love a great guitar weeping, you can not miss out on AC/DC’s performances. The guitarist in that band, Angus, can still be playing when falling down a flight of stares.
Winwood is a great artist in his own right. Check out "Higher Love", "The Finer Things", "Dear Mr. Fantasy", "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys", etc. His band was "Traffic". Always a pleasure Britt...
@@davidburgess3882 I am very familiar with Steve Winwood. I met him once in Boscos pub, Nashville. It was 20 years ago. Steve was an investor in Boscos and lived in Nashville, maybe he still does.
As others have said, this was written by George Harrison , of the Beatles. That' s his son Dhani (playing acoustic in the back) . Prince said his one goal with this was to make Dhani smile. I say *mission accomplished!*
Its original version was the Beatles, written by Beatles George Harrison whose son is in the background playing the guitar..RIP George, TOM and PRINCE ❤️
And two quick notes about how good Prince was Eric Clapton considered the greatest guitarist of all time was in a depression about the state of music. And he saw a movie that was playing while he was driving purple rain had no idea what it was. He went in and watch the movie And he said that he got out of his depression because he saw that music was still alive and well because of Prince The second story is that a reporter once asked Eric Clapton how he felt about being the best guitarist in the world And his reply was well you better ask Prince that because I think he’s the best
This song is by George Harrison and was on The Beatles, from 1968! Georges' son, Dhani, is also on the stage. 🏆🏆🏆🏆 BTW, that's Jeff Lynne of ELO on the lead vocal.
A George Harrison song. He passed away. His son is in this set. Beautiful song ❤ very tastefully done ❤ perfect song for Tom Petty to sing. Sounds like George
And not just all that -- That stage is filled with some of the greatest rock musicians of a generation, each with a lifetime of musical experience. And they're all looking in awe at Prince. While. They're. Playing.
The late George Harrison's son, Dhani Harrison, is playing guitar behind Tom Petty in this video. Spitting image of his Dad. George Harrison wrote and performed the song on the Beatles' 1968 Double White Album.
There's an interesting backstory to this performance by Prince. Since Prince was there for induction also, Tom Petty asked him to come and play a guitar solo on this song. But according to the producers and the other band members Prince never showed up for rehearsals and never told anybody what he planned to do. During rehearsal, Marc Mann, who was the primary guitar player and did the early solos, played through the whole song. So he expected to play the whole song that night. Several people thought they should allow Prince to play because he hadn't practiced so he wouldn't know what to do. Tom Petty said don't worry about it, he doesn't need to practice, it will be great. Prince then proceeded to produce one of the most most epic guitar solos in history. Here's a writeup... Jeff Lynne is the singers with the high notes, was in the band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) - Tom Petty was the first singer, Steve Winwood was the first main electric guitarist... and the young guy behind with the acoustic is Dhani Harrison, George Harrison's son.

These guys were all in a band named The traveling wilburys members included Steve winwood Jeff Lynne from electric light orchestra Tom Petty Roy Orbison and George Harrison Bob Dylan one of the popular songs is ."handle with Care" and "end of the line"
The amount of generational talent in that room is insane and for Prince to be PRINCE. I've watched this clip so many times and each time it blows my mind at how effortless he makes it look. He made it look so fn easy like putting on pants. The disrespect of not calling that guy a goat is insane.

Somewhere there's a video of him playing drums with Sheila E playing percussion, it's beautiful. Stevie Winwood is the keyboard player here, quite the musical genius on his own right. The song was written by George Harrison of the Beatles, I urge you to listen to the original.
That song with Sheila E on drums then switching with Prince on drums is It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night. Please check it out
Thank you Wanda, I couldn't remember the name. It is delicious.
Really. Who is better? What say you?
I have time. You couldn't even come up with one.
On a stage full of rock GIANTS...
Prince out shone them all!
What an absolute LEGEND!
R.I.P. PRINCE...
No. as rock giant professionals they are they backed him up.
The ultimate" mic drop " at the end of his performance
Absolutely 😂🎉😅
The guy playing the weeping guitar in the body of the song is Marc Mann. He is a writer, producer and session musician. He has done quite a bit of work with Jeff since the 90's.
thanks for letting me know!
@@brittreacts
You are most welcome!
That was Prince's "mic drop" moment, showing the world how amazing a guitarist he was. Nothing else needed to be said after that.
It was supposed to be a tribute to Harrison, not him.
It turned out to be both
@@kenhoyer8601it's the damn Jam session for the inductees that includes Prince and George Harrison!!!
This was a magical and iconic performance. Great tribute to George Harrison and Beatles. Once in a lifetime event!
He played more than 23 instruments
The amount of talent on that stage at one time is unreal!!
All of these other artists understood the Talent Prince was 😮😢❤😅😊 & each
I loved his guitar toss and strut off as though he were saying, "I don't need this anymore. There's no music left in it." 😅
And yes, that guitar solo brings tears to my eyes every time.
It is forbidden by the constitution to cut, pause a guitar solo, they can put you in prison
EXACTLY!!
Prince sang a masterpiece with that guitar! Absolutely perfect!
I never did like Prince’s songs but I always loved his incredible guitar playing. He was a legend.
you'd probably enjoy the Prince Jazz Funk Sessions from '77, it's completely intrumental.
ua-cam.com/video/cOc2MzvqbN0/v-deo.html
he is great on the guitar!
@Danny Murphy oh I have. Incredible.
His guitar is weeping for the world.
Literally spit my mcfrappe out laughing when you said where’s Prince, is he on this song!?! 😂😂😂.
Just. You. Wait.
I still find it so hard this late in my life when people don’t recognize a Beatle song! George wrote this song and was one of his biggest hits! I am really shocked because their music is everywhere!
Top 5 solos of all time. Very underrated for guitar playing. Probably because he was so good at everything else. RIP
Prince was actually holding back here. I've seen him go much crazier than this. On another note, I love the combo of Tom Petty and Jeff Lynn on vocals
This is my all time favourite song and I'm 68 years young ❤ and yes Prince is about the Rock your socks Off.peace and love from Ireland
Prince doesn’t have to vocalize to sing, he is letting his instrument do the singing!
Tom Petty (The Heartbreakers, The Traveling Wilburys) - lead vocals, guitar
Jeff Lynne (ELO, The Traveling Wilburys) - co-lead vocals, guitar
Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith) - organ
Dhani Harrison - guitar, backing vocals
Jeff Young (Jackson Browne) - piano
Marc Mann (ELO, Oingo Boingo) - lead guitar
Scott Thurston (The Motels, The Heartbreakers) - bass
Steve Ferrone (AWB, Duran Duran, The Heartbreakers) - drums
Jim Capaldi (Traffic) - persussion, tambourine
Prince - soul, swagger, heat, sexiness
George Harrison - spiritual guidance
Eric Clapton - blues inspiration
Jimi Hendrix - cosmic influence
Rest well.
Legend says he threw the guitar back to heaven after its earthly purpose was complete
love that!
One of the best collaborations ever. It's amazing how George Harrison's son (acoustic guitar) looks so much like his father. It's originally a Beatles song. I grew up with the Beatles, and it's amazing to think that none of the Beatles knew how to read or write music.
Prince did not have to sing or say one word. His exceptional guitar skills speaks volumes. Enough said.
Prince's guitar playing was simply amazing! Incredible. The whole group or artists are stars in their own right and deserved a bit more attention as well as the tribute to a great George Harrison.
I can't believe you never saw this Britt! It's one of the most watched lead guitar solos of all time!
I may get flogged by die-hards for saying this, but 'PurpleRain' and the 'BATMAN sountrack' are right up there with 'Sign 'O The Times' for me.
The first because it tells the story of my teens (pretty much). The secong because it's all over the place and playfull - I just have the biggest smile on when done with this soundtrack 🙂
SO glad that I was fortunate enough to witness him live before he passed away ... R.I.P. my beautiful one
Prince found out he was left off the list of the best 100 guitar players. Guess he showed them what a huge mistake that was! Go back and look at a picture of George Harrison in his younger years. Then look at the young man next to Tom. That's George's son. They look so much alike it gave me chills. So glad you enjoyed it as much as I did ☮️
Prince could have been on that list. But he decided to do pop music instead. That isn’t Rolling Stones fault.
No no no, this is from the George Harrison tribute concert.
Original by The Beatles, written and sung by George Harrison
The was Jeff Lynne from ELO whose voice you loved.
That is a perfectly descriptive combo of his talent!
Yes!!!
No, he’s not going to sing. What he’s going to do is show you what an enigmatic music man he truly was 💜
I will keep him in mind, thanks!
It's one of my favorite Beatles songs. Eric Clapton played on the original version.
glad you enjoyed it! it is a great song!
I have listened to this performance dozens of times. The first half is amazing. The second half brings me to tears of joy every time.
Jeff Lynne of ELO. One of the greatest writers and producers in rock history. Check out some of ELO’s work
I will keep it in mind, thanks!
You forgot Ringo Starr
Prince and Tom Petty are jammin together in Heaven!!
@@patriciaellis4848 Love Ringo's contributions to the songs, but Ringo wasn't really a songwriter.
The guy in sunglasses, and that special voise, is Jeff Lynn, the genius of Elictric light orchestra. If you love a great guitar weeping, you can not miss out on AC/DC’s performances. The guitarist in that band, Angus, can still be playing when falling down a flight of stares.
Jeff Lynne has the voice you like. Steve Winwood is on keyboards.
Steve was an investor in Boscos and lived in Nashville, maybe he still does.
thanks for letting me know!
As others have said, this was written by George Harrison , of the Beatles. That' s his son Dhani (playing acoustic in the back) . Prince said his one goal with this was to make Dhani smile. I say *mission accomplished!*
Is Prince just going to play guitar? LOL, Depends on what you mean by "just"... ;-)
haha true!
Its original version was the Beatles, written by Beatles George Harrison whose son is in the background playing the guitar..RIP George, TOM and PRINCE ❤️
You ruined the song by pausing all the guitar solos over and over again. It was just way too much.. But we still love you.
And two quick notes about how good Prince was
Eric Clapton considered the greatest guitarist of all time was in a depression about the state of music.
And he saw a movie that was playing while he was driving purple rain had no idea what it was. He went in and watch the movie
And he said that he got out of his depression because he saw that music was still alive and well because of Prince
The second story is that a reporter once asked Eric Clapton how he felt about being the best guitarist in the world
And his reply was well you better ask Prince that because I think he’s the best
he plays the notes with his mouth on the guitar...he does this a lot
Jeff Lynne (ELO & Traveling Wilbury’s) one of the most brilliant minds in music! He is the man!!
Nobody above Prince. A true master!
Your reaction to this was beyond appropriate. Especially towards PRINCE. R.I.P to him and to TOM PETTY and, of course, GEORGE HARRISON. ✌
And not just all that -- That stage is filled with some of the greatest rock musicians of a generation, each with a lifetime of musical experience. And they're all looking in awe at Prince. While. They're. Playing.
Absolutely love guitar riffs Prince showed his genius here❤❤️💯🔥
The late George Harrison's son, Dhani Harrison, is playing guitar behind Tom Petty in this video.

Absolutely one of my top 5 favorite songs and this was an amazing rendition of it.
One of the best guitar solos ever! And one of the best tributes to this song ever!
Jeff Lynne is the singers with the high notes, was in the band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) - Tom Petty was the first singer, Steve Winwood was the first main electric guitarist... and the young guy behind with the acoustic is Dhani Harrison, George Harrison's son.
This is by far the greatest reaction I have seen. Love how your facial reaction. Awesome
Jeff Lynn was lead vocalist for electric light orchestra or ELO. These guys were all in a band named The traveling wilburys members included Steve winwood Jeff Lynne from electric light orchestra Tom Petty Roy Orbison and George Harrison Bob Dylan one of the popular songs is ."handle with Care" and "end of the line"
This was at the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame for George Harrison
The amount of generational talent in that room is insane and for Prince to be PRINCE. I've watched this clip so many times and each time it blows my mind at how effortless he makes it look. He made it look so fn easy like putting on pants. The disrespect of not calling that guy a goat is insane.
The high note were supplied by Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra (ELO)..George Harrison wrote the song and with Jeff, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison formed the Super Group - The Traveling Wilburys. The acoustic guitar player to the left of Tom Petty was George Harrison's son playing tribute to his father.
George Harrison's greatest song, from the Beatle's White Album. That young lad is George's son, Dhani Harrison.
The singer that you love his way of singing this song is Jeff Lynne of ELO(electric light orchestra) and the Traveling Wilburys. I fell in love with Jeff when he was with ELO.
I'm enjoying your reaction soon as several times Can't Get Enough❤❤ he is one soul that will truly be missed by all❤ but we have his music to remember him until affinity What a Beautiful Soul💯💫💞
Jeff Lynne is from ELO (a band the Beatles influenced) they were a massive band in the 70s. Songs like Mr. Blue Sky, Telephone Line, Dont bring me down, Evil Woman and more.
I will keep those in mind, thanks!
This song is a Beatles song written and sung by George Harrison. On the recording Eric Clapton, a rare guest artist on a Beatles recording, was brought in to play the guitar solo. I noticed that you hadn’t done any Beatles reactions before. Well, not any longer. Since George had died by the time he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this band of his closest musicians was brought in to play this performance. Even his son is on stage. He is the baby face guitarist over Tom’s left shoulder.
My first experience hearing Prince was on guitar, and I was amazed. Then came Purple Rain, and the rest is history! LoL he was a phenomenal guitarist
