I have suffered so much from abuse, neglect, anxiety, and seen terrible things. I was once homeless a few years back. These past few weeks, I have been battling thoughts about my future. I started reading the bible and meditating more. I used to believed that God has nothing in store for me. When I played this video on, I usually like to take naps with his preaching, I instantly woke up to the part where he was talking about the pearl. I believe that the holy spirit woke me up. +nakumate I used to be impressed by Derek Prince but not any more. All that stuff about having to go back and confess generational sins, for ex. to get healing and deliverance. When did Messiah or the Apostles ever ask anyone to do any such thing? Never. Their healings were simple and swift with few words. See the vid 10 Things Jesus NEVER Said about Healing. See Blake Curry's vids on divine healing. See the vid CBN Dr. Chauncey Crandall Raises A Man From The Dead. Notice how fast and few his words were. See Kathrine Kuhlman in action in her healing vids. From my research she had more documented cases of healing than anyone. Get Dr. Richard Casdorph's book The Miracles where he gives doctor verifications for miraculous healings mostly, but not all, through Kuhlman's ministry. On Sid Roth you can see how one of the cases he mentions, Delores Winder, was healed. How many instructions was she given before she could get healing? None. She didn't even believe in healing!
+Lorica Lass have you heard the expression " its not taught but caught"? It is very true that the anointing can be "caught" if you spend time with a person. It is transferable. And I think its the same thing when it comes to the bad spirits. Things that are passed on from parents to thier children. It is all about influence and how much time you spend together. And that has to be broken in prayer. If it is really strong even fasting maybe needed. We had a history of lack in our family. A spirit of poverty was broken one day when I fasted. I didnt even realize that was what I prayed against, it was led by the spirit. Probably due to the fact that my mother had a long history of prayer that God would meet our needs. That day it broke, I just knew it, and I tell you, the difference is evident.
Benne175 I do not question that there are generation sins. However, there is nothing in the Bible saying that the time to address them is when someone is getting healed. Neither Messiah nor the apostles ever even brought the topic up at that time. Fasting is also highly beneficial if one's health is up for it.. However, I have heard that "This type comes out not but by prayer and fasting" comes from an inerrant, later add on, of the Church "fathers" in regard to the word "fasting."
+Lorica Lass Jesus said "when you fast, not IF you fast". It is quite evident that fasting is an essential part of a christian life, just as prayer and giving is according to Jesus. The apostles fasted as well, esspessially when it came to special and critical situations. I don't think Jesus want us to fast if it doesn't makes a difference. Something happends in the spirit when we fast, I know, I've done it many times. When it comes to healing, I agree with you, the bible doesn't say anything about that. On the other hand that may be due to the fact that if we cincearly humble ourselfs and pray about something, we may also fast just as the apostles did. I heard about a women who fasted for 40 days for her son. He had lucimia. She didn't give up before he was healed, and he was eventually healed.

Reach out to God and tell Him how you feel amd that you need Him. Say thank you to Him in advance for what He is going to do for you. God will never reject you. He loves you very much and He wants to help you. People will fail you but God will never fail you! Will pray with you!!

+nakumate I used to be impressed by Derek Prince but not any more. All that stuff about having to go back and confess generational sins, for ex. to get healing and deliverance. When did Messiah or the Apostles ever ask anyone to do any such thing? Never. Their healings were simple and swift with few words. See the vid 10 Things Jesus NEVER Said about Healing. See Blake Curry's vids on divine healing. See the vid CBN Dr. Chauncey Crandall Raises A Man From The Dead. Notice how fast and few his words were. See Kathrine Kuhlman in action in her healing vids. From my research she had more documented cases of healing than anyone. Get Dr. Richard Casdorph's book The Miracles where he gives doctor verifications for miraculous healings mostly, but not all, through Kuhlman's ministry. On Sid Roth you can see how one of the cases he mentions, Delores Winder, was healed. How many instructions was she given before she could get healing? None. She didn't even believe in healing!
+Lorica Lass have you heard the expression " its not taught but caught"? It is very true that the anointing can be "caught" if you spend time with a person. It is transferable. And I think its the same thing when it comes to the bad spirits. Things that are passed on from parents to thier children. It is all about influence and how much time you spend together. And that has to be broken in prayer. If it is really strong even fasting maybe needed. We had a history of lack in our family. A spirit of poverty was broken one day when I fasted. I didnt even realize that was what I prayed against, it was led by the spirit. Probably due to the fact that my mother had a long history of prayer that God would meet our needs. That day it broke, I just knew it, and I tell you, the difference is evident.
Benne175 I do not question that there are generation sins. However, there is nothing in the Bible saying that the time to address them is when someone is getting healed. Neither Messiah nor the apostles ever even brought the topic up at that time. Fasting is also highly beneficial if one's health is up for it..
However, I have heard that "This type comes out not but by prayer and fasting" comes from an inerrant, later add on, of the Church "fathers" in regard to the word "fasting."
+Lorica Lass Jesus said "when you fast, not IF you fast". It is quite evident that fasting is an essential part of a christian life, just as prayer and giving is according to Jesus. The apostles fasted as well, esspessially when it came to special and critical situations. I don't think Jesus want us to fast if it doesn't makes a difference. Something happends in the spirit when we fast, I know, I've done it many times. When it comes to healing, I agree with you, the bible doesn't say anything about that. On the other hand that may be due to the fact that if we cincearly humble ourselfs and pray about something, we may also fast just as the apostles did. I heard about a women who fasted for 40 days for her son. He had lucimia. She didn't give up before he was healed, and he was eventually healed.
Benne175 I didn't say fasting wasn't Biblical. I just expressed doubts about whether it is necessary, ever, for healings. Again, there is a translation issue in the one and only case where fasting is mentioned in connection with healing.

Reach out to God and tell Him how you feel amd that you need Him. Say thank you to Him in advance for what He is going to do for you. God will never reject you. He loves you very much and He wants to help you. People will fail you but God will never fail you! Will pray with you!!
