Treasonous Ogre could help fix mana somewhat. With this, you could also run Grinning Ignus, which would then combo with Birgi as well as Ogre + Aetherflux
I actually added a couple Dockside loop lines to my own list. Lore Drakkis, Snap and Dockside and then Barrin Master Wizard as well. Also added Grand Architect and Pili Pala to get access to infinite Mana in as few cards/cheap as possible.
Grinning Ignus, runaway steamkin and brass’s bounty fixed my mana problem enough. I also like maze of ith and thaumatic compass for this list. This was the most fun deck I ever built. I also like Jeskas will over dockside but that’s mostly budget reasons.
I've been playing this in Brawl which is a ton of fun. A certainly not competitive but hilarious inclusion is Thousand-Year Storm - if you untap with it, it quickly gets crazy.
Fun thing. If you have Storm-kilin artist and cast chain of vapor on your mana rocks you may sac tapped lands to get mana even more. I will try cards like snapcaster mage/ Spellseeker and snap for extra steps. With Baral cards like snap/ frantic search/ time spiral( that's high cmc so I do not recommend) give you mana +. Treasonous Ogre with Aeatherflux is insane synergy too.
Unfortunately Harmonic Prodigy won't cause Eruth to exile additional cards since her ability is a replacement effect which doesn't trigger or use the stack.
Have you looked into Runaway Steam-kin as a way to get extra mana? It only triggers on red spells cast and gets you red mana but it could still put in work
I know this is a bit behind the time curve here, but I've been really wanting to build off this deck and play Eruth. I've played it a couple times and it's insanely fun. I've seen your list, and it hasn't been updated in 11 months (not that thats an issue) I just wanted your input on cards such as Treasonous Ogre, Paradoxical Outcome, etc. I wish there was a way to pick your brain on this matter
@@ComedIanMTG Thank you for the link, and yes usually decks are in the description but I don't see any links in the description except for discord, twitter and patreon.
So, is basically a krark/salashima build with a stronger draw engine but worst ramp capacity? Is it worth it though, for both stronger and funnier points of view?
If you were breaching with LED and wheel wouldn’t you not be able to restock your yard enough to deck your opponents? I guess you’re just relying on having enough in the yard already?
Yeah I have the same remark/question. The first deck-tech I saw for this card was with the spell that goes "R : each player draws three then discards three at random" + birgi and was like "and this is enough to mill everyone" and ... well, no. You don't have cards in your hand, they are exiled. You can't discard. So the only way that's working is to brainfreeze yourself over and over until you have enough storm count to kill the other players which, lets be honest, isn't that easy. I'm really interested in the answer/explanation here cause I must be missing a detail that makes the difference between "this card is shitty" and "this card is bonkers".
Easy: bounce Eruth when you are ready to go off. That's what they are there for. But have tested her, usually the number of cards in the graveyard is so high, that you can continue to dig until you find what you need.
@@Avarahaion if you bounce eruth, you still don't have the cards exiled prior that turn in your hand AND you need to draw. Given you've theoretically drawn at least twice more than the other players I'm not convinced you won't deck yourself if you do so.
Led/breech/eruth I don’t follow the combo? I think I’m missing something. Eruth will exile the draw so eventually you’d run out of things to put in the graveyard…. Did I miss something?

Ian I’m SUPER happy to see you doing a video!!!!!!
This is very cool! Excellent to meet u this past weekend!!!

Ensnaring Bridge might be good if you never have any cards in hand

Eruth, sure...
More excitingly, Ian is back!
Other fun additions
Aria of Flame
Harmonic Prodigy

@@Avarahaiondamn! Overlooked that.

Primal amulet seems like a good addition with Baral and Goblin Electromancer.
Thanks! Now I don't have to do this 😆 this deck is SO much fun!
Your deck is also pretty cool! A different approach, even though there are some choices I don't quite get so... please do one as well 😁
@@Avarahaion you got it! Stay tuned... 😀
@@Avarahaion but watch all of Ian's stuff first. He's def cooler than me
The deck looks siiiiick, would love to see your take on the frog 🐸
Jace, Mirror Mage's [0] ability lets you "draw" two cards without having him lose loyalty.
Syr Carah the Bold meet Rielle the Everwise, damn I'll have to give it a shot!
Truuuueeee
There is the loop with Birgi, grinning ignus, and steam kiln engine which with them on the battlefield they go infinite and you net a lot of mana
Too close a name steam and storm lol
Dragon's Rage Channeler or Burning Prophet?
Would you consider putting in Strike it Rich for Mana conversion?
Seems pretty reasonable
I find great success with rituals.
Is there a link to the decklist ?

Looks sick! How do you think this deck compares to rielle (gameplay-pattern-wise and power-wise)?
Much more all in than Rielle but much more able to actually win the game
have you ever thought about putting the medallions in?
Definitely a consideration, I just think its redundancy on an effect we dint need. Colorless mana isn't rhe problems it's colored mana
What do you think about Bag of Holding in this deck?
Huh, not a bad point. The only downside I see is that after a point you really have no cards to discard
@@ComedIanMTG true, but in the early game Bag of Holding can store interaction pieces to answer Drannith Magistrate
Curious as to why you would only put one snow-covered island and 5 normal ones.
