I think beyond being just a great actress, Ingrid Bergman was a great mom to her kids. She raised some great kids whom I can tell really loved their mom very much.

@BabeonToast Why would you not believe the words of her own daughters, the people who really knew her? They obviously love their mom and have great respect for her.
@7mandoblu Actually, she was very neglectful towards her first daughter, and actually, I read somewhere, that when this daughter was visiting her mother and siblings, it was she who was more attentive to them than Ingrid ever was. Doesn't sound like a good, caring mother. Great mothers are those who deserve the honour.

@reboy2008 She was very neglectful to her first child, and not a very involved mother to her other children. It makes one wonder why she had children if she didn't have the heart or character to be involved with them.
You seem to miss the point that, although all her husbands were employed, her job paid a lot more. She was the main breadwinner. Acting was her "vocation" but also a necessity if her family were to have the luxuries they enjoyed.
