  • Hello!
After many days of work, using many programs, using the classic trial and error, and more than a failure in the way, I've finally managed to finish this great project of remastering the show "Hammersmith Odeon 1979. " So I'll post the final samples of the concert, though little, because now if I'm short on time. (I have exams between these days and a trip in between)
The audio / video is available on 720P, with images of "crazy tour", to avoid any loss of quality, I hope in the not too distant future, also upload a video version, but for now just be the audio.

    Concert Review:
After a series of concerts throughout Britain, Queen arrives in London, where he begins a successive series of concerts in small venues in this specific case, we find the last concert of the tour and the last concert of the decade 70.
Although Freddie was a little more tired than in previous concerts, I could still offer great performances of his songs, the versions of somebody to love and bohemian rhapsody is incredible, and at times even offers C5 everywhere, though with less freedom than before. It also gives great performances Spread Your Wings, Now Im Here, We Will Rock You and We Are Champions (Here comes the C5).
This concert was the first unofficial Queen concert, listen, and I loved full, then unfortunately I found out that this tour only this concert is available in audio console, and low quality, so I thought I needed a remastering .
    Anyway, Enjoy!
PS: Sorry for not uploading more videos, but was on vacation, and now they are true today celebrating 31 years since that legendary concert, is to upload one song freddie mercury emblem

Brilliant. I was searching for any clips from the Crazy Tour 1979 concerts. I think this is as close as it gets date wise to the concert I attended at the NEC that year 24 November. Great memories.

Glasgow is the closest. You're lucky to see Freddie's best tour and lucky to see Queen! How was the show in Birmingham?

@@JourneyLiveCompilations The whole experience was awesome! My mate Dave Lynch sourced 3 tickets (5th row from the front, in an all seater "smallish" venue). We were 3 pals aged 18 years old living in Huddersfield, one mate (Dave Casson) was a mechanic and had recently passed his driving test and owned a Morris 1300. Just the drive down to Birmingham was an adventure! Only 2 years earlier the same mate had bought tickets to watch The Sex Pistols on Christmas Day at Ivanhoes pub in Huddersfield. Although I had the ticket, I decided not to got to the concert but instead, went to visit my grandma and grandad with family, and I thought it would have been rude to leave early and go and watch a punk band on that day!
I remember the long queue around the venue and the cold weather. We entered the entrance hall where we were faced with a mass of souvenirs on sale. We by-passed the crowds and headed for our seats. As soon as the show started most of us surged to the front on stage where we we treated to Queen at their vocal best. The heat from the stage lights, Freddie's showmanship, the track list....just awesome. On a personal note, I had a dead end job at the time in Huddersfield and would reflect on the lyrics of Spread Your Wings most of the day at work. I decided it was time, I'd made up my mind(!) and eventually left Huddersfield with another friend and we randomly set off (in my L reg pastel blue Triumph 1500) and headed to Brighton. I subsequently moved to Scarborough and London and travelled the Greek Islands, before settling back down in the Midlands. Queen definitely influenced my life. Many years later (as a grandad), I would go and pick my granddaughter up from nursery and on the drive home she would say, "grandad, can you play "We will rock you, the fast one and then the slow one" (2 different versions of those tracks that I have on a USB stick in my car) and we'd sing along together (even though she was only 4 at the time!).....that's the influence of Queen:)

Absolutely this is a great version, but there is some performances even more powerful ! Listen to Montreal 81 (not the DVD version, listen the one from the previous nigth), Sao Paulo 81, Newcastle 79, Edinburgh 82 and Glasgow 79 !

Suberb version, I find its much better then later recording of 'somebody to love'. I mean, for instance, there is lack of amazing, high Mercury's vocal in "Rock Montreal".
