As much as I like your tench I must congratulate you on the perch. Over the years I have caught some cracking perch all on Mepps Spinners. They always look good and fight well.
Was a chunk hey. I've had Eel on LRF but using gulp isome. I haven't ever been bitten off by pike. If you csn see the lure you can strike and lip hook them
What a fantastic session. Never had a tench on lure or fly but next spring I intend to give it another go. I take it that’s not the Bridgwater and Taunton canal?
@ ah right, fished most of it but obviously not where you were as I didn’t recognise it. Ive mainly fished the Bridgwater side and Dunster. Keep telling myself I’ll give the Rudd a proper go one day. Does it look any deeper at the Taunton end now the C&RT have dredged it?
Wow a wild tench what a catch
Thanks. Was one of the most rewarding catches ever. Worth a trip up there when the water is clearly. Can't beat sightfishing for them
Great video as always and congratulations on hitting your target Tench. I think my hands would be shaking at that point too. Cracking Perch 🎣👏
Cheers Steve. That perch is an average sized one for up there.
What an amazing year your having. Huge congratulations on the Tench and beautiful Perch. I look forward to your next challenge 🤔🤔 Well done Sir 👏👏
Thanks Alan. Glad I ticked it off. Was st the bottom of my list as I didn't really expect one.

Thanks David. It was a nice one. They go to 4lb plus uo there. But I'd happily take a 2lb any day
Excelente vídeo, magnífico lugar, e lindas capturas muitos parabéns amigo 🎣
Thank you. Is a stunning place
Nice one Dan! 👍
Cheers Steve
Cracking video mate, I’m waiting for the river opening, can’t wait to go after the perch on my ultralight gear
Thanks jake. Not long now. I can't wait either. Want to get chub, Gudgeon, Dace and grayling once the rivers open up
@@LRFandHRF ooo gudgeon will definitely be a challenge, but if anyone can get it done it’s you, good luck 👍
There quite easy to sight fish. It's just a case of spotting them first. Hopefully I'll pick one up this week now that the rovers are open
I’m hot on your heels - only 30 behind! 😂.
Keep going. You'll soon catch up. Plenty to aim for
@@LRFandHRF I only started my LRF list in April, to be fair ☺️
Big beast of a perch! 👏
Have you or do you think you will get an eel on LRF?
Also how didn't that pike bite you off 😅

Thank you. Such a tricky catch but so rewarding. It certainly was the Taunton and Bridgewater Canal?

@Fishwish I've only ever fished the Taunton end few miles. Lovely stretch. Maunsel down to the town is full of everything.
@ I prefer that side tbh. Hopefully going to explore it a little more this winter.
Good luck. Plenty to go at
