About the weakness. Its non moving water, specifically when still water, reaches knee high and above. Stuff like rain will not affect them. Also, water weakens them but does not completely remove their ability's and so luffy when in water cant throw a punch, but he is still made of rubber. I like the trap buggy made for luffy. It's scary because luffy is not only slolwy drowing but also slolwy losing his strength as the water rises, but it's also very cool.
That's the manga you're describing. In the series, Buggy says that a few splashes can take away a devil fruit eater's power. Also spoilers: Arlong splashes Luffy with water and he's instantly weakened, so I guess they're treating seawater here the same as kryptonite, maybe?
@@xkcloud Sometimes it's like that in the anime too. In the movie film red, luffy get water splashed by a civilian and instantly get weakened. Even though the movie isn't cannon, but where would they get that idea? It was definitely way before the live action.
It is pretty interesting that the first devil fruit user Luffy encounters is his opposite in a way. Luffy can't be harmed by blunt force, but can be cut. Buggy can't be cut, but can be hurt by blunt force.
"If you're enjoying the One Piece live-action, you should definitely dive into the anime! It goes even deeper into the characters, world-building, and all the incredible adventures of Luffy and the Straw Hats. The anime captures the heart and excitement of the story perfectly, with so many epic moments you'll love! It's a masterpiece that only gets better with each arc. The story, humor, and emotional moments are unmatched."
@@Andy-rf8rr"While I get where you're coming from, I think part of what makes One Piece special is its balance of adventure, humor, and deep emotional arcs. Sure, it can be straightforward at times, but the world-building, long-term payoffs, and character development really resonate with a lot of fans. Plus, the way Oda ties together plot points after hundreds of chapters shows a level of planning and complexity that’s hard to match. It might not be groundbreaking in every aspect, but it has heart and scope that set it apart."

Anime fan: Shanks is one of the strongest how the hell he let his hand eaten by a monster? Director of live action: lets make the hand eating scene more questionable.
If I recall correctly, in the anime Shanks had his guard down and just doesn't see it coming. You can imagine/understand he just got hit by a "surprise attack" and simply wasn't using any power. I really, really like the LA version, but this is a bit of a miss for me. And it doesn't work that well in itself, since almost all new reactors are confused about the scene.
@@honeybadger5548 at the beginning Oda might had didn't thought about haki, and this thing happened when luffy was 7, zoro was already aiming for best swordsman, so shanks and Mihawk were already strong by that time and Shanks stole that fruit from cyper pol who knows 6 techniques there is no way he could beat cyper pol without haki. So anime version can be justify, but in LA version, director already knows about haki and yet he made such a lame scene. In anime luffy was drowning and about to get eaten by monster so Shanks lost his hand is justify but here they are on boat luffy is already safe so what is stopping Shanks to use his power.

9:23 about that... there is a live action Japanese attack on titain. The first few minutes are good the rest is completely awful which is why it never got a sequel and no one talks about it.

“ wait how did Shanks get there?” ….exactly
Using the boat he's in...
They lose their ability to swim if they ate a devil fruit💯
Literally seawater their weakness
I subscribed it😅
19:40 Shanks didn’t eat a Devil Fruit.
What he has is a whole other power system.
Especially because he got there swimming and got on the boat Luffy and the villain were using.

Nah, hate to be a party pooper, but One Piece isn't THAT ground breaking. It's definitely a great adventure, but everything is a bit on the nose.
