Got to love Ocado for the deliveries, I’ve never had a substitute from there but if I get Asda or Sainsbury I always have many substitutes. We stick with Ocado now. Loved the video too x
UA-cam has not been alerting of your videos :(. Anyway, I love these videos. It fills me of nostalgia from the time I used to live in the UK. I was team Tesco and Lidl. M&S when I wanted a treat or was too tired as I had one right outside my work place.
You can refuse substitutes from Asda by handing it back to them during delivery or click and collect. You can also choose which products on your shopping list when ordering that you do not want to be substituted if they are not available. Just before you checkout you can update your preferences, if you don't then they mark all your products as being suitable for substitution. Ocado/M&S is always much more organised and the food is fresh and holds a longer date
Am I right in remembering that the M&S burger was frozen but the Asda was fresh? That would account for the difference in texture and look of the burgers
I love the M&S cake texture- I think it’s just different to other supermarkets’. In terms of substitutions we get our home delivery from Sainsbury’s and you can select on your order if you would like substitutes but even if you get them you can reject them at the door. They also give you a voucher for higher priced substitutions to use for future orders. I do think some substitutes can be quite random especially when you get something completely different 🙈
You should try Asda's Cracking Cured on tbe Bone Ham. £4 for a full 400gr. It is thick and nicely dry like you used to get from the now defunct deli counters
If you love marmalade, get yourself a can of Mamade and some good sugar (I add other freshly squeezed citrus like blood orange juice and depending on the season champagne, rum, spices all in exchange for the show gal amount of water). That will cut your marmalade expense into less than half and greatly increases the quality.
Hi Sophie it’s only me again - my multiple sclerosis appointment didn’t go very well today - so I thought I’d do a Iceland order - my mum FaceTime me and asked her to get a few bits the only place I could get these were from Waitrose so the Iceland orders gone out the window and now I’m doing Waitrose I know they’re a lot more expensive but where I live it’s either Waitrose or Sainsbury’s ~ Tesco’s won’t deliver as it’s classed as a business address and Asda is too far away ~ I hope you have a great rest of the week and a great weekend - sending loads of love and loads of hugs as always~ Xxx Xxx
I like Asda for long life branded food like Heinz, Hellman’s Kellogg’s. They tend to be cheaper. But for fresh meat and veg and bakery I prefer Morrison’s or Tesco.
I just hate going to Asda, it’s a combination of the store layout / flooring and the food (in my opinion) which isn’t very nice. *I have bought a few things from the home isle but I just prefer other supermarkets.
Enjoyed the video i don’t feel you did the stir fry fairly as only had the different noodles and sauces. And the burgers one was frozen one was fresh. Which is why the texture was so different. Frozen burgers are more mushy. Supermarkets and their substitutes still makes me laugh 😆 Please do Tesco and Sainsbury’s comparison x
I stick to m&s as you can't match a frozen burger with a fresh burger asda went down hill years ago and in my opinion never got any better I shop at m&s sainsbury and tesco
Thursdays are the best day for asda deliveries..iv tried every day over and over during my 3 years of getting asda online...only on a Thursday do i not get subs or unavailable..my last 3 Thursday deliveries been perfect..never before on other days..
Hello! Enjoy the video, this was fun/interesting to film ♥
Ps Seville is pronounced S'ville (like the civil part of civillian)

hello... Was the M&S black bean sauce actually made for M&S by Lee Kum Kee???? LKK are one of S.E.Asia's biggest sauce manufacturers...
Loving the taste test video again x

I feel the same about Tescos . Each to their own .😁

Why was there a white rabbit running around in your kitchen? Yeuk
Asda is the shop of filth and hell. Hate it.
