Sorry but the gathering of believers is for the equipping of the believers. Ephesians 4:11-13. We're also not obligated because Yahweh lets us choose. There is a big difference between obligation and being compelled. In fact in the Greek it's not "obligated" and Paul clarifies in the next verse that he's "eager" to share the good news.
