As a owner of S1000R 2018 and S1000XR 2020 was eager and ready to order the M1000XR, but what a boner and set back, learning that there is no top and side cases 😥 Sorry to say dear @bmwmotorrad but you failed massively not giving this option.

Best design out of the S1000's
Although I miss the asymmetrical headlights on the last gen RR
i also miss asymmetrical headlights.
If i'm not completely wrong asymmetrical headlights are not approved in USA, that is why they had to stop using them.
@@getty6974 what makes you say that? i've never heard this before. honda's crf300 rally has asymmetric headlights. bmw r120nngs uses asymmetric headlights. i believe that bmw stopped using asymmetric on s1000rr to be more mainstream and sell more bikes. i don't believe that i has anything to do with regulations
@@damytzeus I was at a BMW techincal course and the trainer said it is because of US market.

Dear BMW Motorrad,
Could you please confirm how close this design of the M1000XR is to the final version.
I currently own the S1000XR M Package model 2022.
I was 100% certain to order the M1000XR as soon as possible.
BUT ... these items make it impossible for me to own the M1000XR:
1) Missing centre stand
2) Missing hand protectors for the grips
3) Missing intelligent emergency call
4) Missing auxiliary LED side lights
5) And then this horrific brake-fluid reservoir on the handle bar is DEFINITELY a deal breaker

bmw, please do not listen to marcos. marcos, if you want those things, you can change after you buy the bike or better yet, keep your s1000xr. i want mxr not s1000xr. it sounds like you want s1000xr and you already have it. congratulations. enjoy your s1000xr. may of us want mxr and not sxr.
