Unforgettable Beauty: A Honeymoon Daytrip in Stunning Luzern/Lucerne, Switzerland

Summer in Luzern, Switzerland!
🌞 We hopped on a direct train from Geneva with a Swiss Day Pass for tourists in hand.
It was Switzerland’s National Day, so most shops were closed, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the day.
Luzern greeted us with cool, refreshing weather-a nice change from the 36°C heat in Geneva.
We had a lovely time strolling through the charming streets of Luzern, though we didn’t manage to explore as much as we wanted.
But we’ll definitely be back with the girls next time!
This trip felt like a mini honeymoon, just me and my husband.
Our adventure continued with a scenic 45-minute boat ride to Bürgenstock, followed by a cogwheel train up the mountain.
The views were breathtaking, but heavy rain kept us from exploring too much.
We also visited the iconic Lion Monument, a poignant tribute to the Swiss Guards who lost their lives.
By 8 PM, we were back on a train to Geneva, wrapping up a day filled with memories.
