Can't believe I discovered this group by a youtube ad. This is old school Nightwish.
It is indeed very reminiscent of the Nightwish sound, but it carries its own merites sufficiently well.
When italians discovered they are great in epic style metal, they started to bring new jewels to the world and still doing it.

@@TheFrozenDragon Yes, there are only some parts of some songs in italian, and some bands never ever sang in italian. Same happens with spanish-speaking metal bands, some of them sing in english. English is almost everyone's second language, perhaps that's why. But I'm with you, I would love to hear a record in their language
I seriously think that Italy is going to be the next great metal explosion, it was the US in the 80s, Sweden and Norway in the 90s, and now it's Italy that's giving us new metal.
@@TheFrozenDragon Try listen to Folkstone, they sing only in italian. Furor Gallico also have some songs in italian.

I like how they use one of the famous Eastern folk tales to make a good music. My mother used to tell me this story, now you guys make it even better. Love and respect from Vietnam
There is a story in Aztec culture of a rabbit that offers itself as food to a feathered serpent (dragon)who was hungry and would die if it didn't eat.
The dragon was so moved by the sacrifice that instead of eating the rabbit, he gave h the Moon.
The morale is that we do not gain greatness by being important but by being humble and in service of others.
Everytime I look at the moon I think of this song now
This band is so good has elements of a lot of different bands in the genre as Epica. Delain with Charlotte, Nightwish, Magica and others love it

I stumbled onto this a few days ago and have listened to it every day since. It sounds like The Dark Element inspired it and I have no problem with that. Her voice is very good and I like the up tempo.

Woke up with this in my head and tears in my eyes. Learned the legend and how it's interestingly tied to Sailor Moon (Tsukino Usagi means Moon Rabbit). This is a story for another day.

Chiara's high floating phrasing here is better than either Sharon den Adel's usually planet beating angel voice or even Floor Jansen on acoustic "How's the Heart". This song is simple enough to highlight her.
This is a faster paced "Walking in the Air" type classic. Adored. Could be immortal.
How was this only released on April 27th?! I could have sworn it was longer ago that I discovered this band. Damn, this quarantine is messing with my sense of time. Absolutely love the song.
Maybe it's because this song belongs to the second album. The first one was no less awesome than the second, in my opinion.
This band has more talent than you can shake a stick at. Add to this the ridiculously easy way they play their epic songs. Oh and characters looks good enough to eat..😋

Their stuff is a bit too light & mellow for me, but this song just cheers me up. Plus, it somehow gets stuck in my head, despite the fact that I can barely tell what she is even singing. I do like how they combine Asian folk sounds into their music so well.

Was about to post that this band and especially the singer, remind me very much of Temperance, then realised the singer, Chiara Tricarico, is the original Temperance singer; so that explains that then.

Firstly, I've bought the album "Lunaris" & I love it! ❤ So many great songs! "The Dangerous Art of Overthinking" is my favourite song. 👌
I don't normally pay much attention to lyrics, but I've just read them for this awesome song here. It's partly because I didn't know what "Rabbit of the Moon" meant & also I couldn't make out what Chiara is singing, with the fast pace. Very dark lyrics indeed! That rabbit is a hero! 🐇 Perhaps he couldn't be called Blackavar, (from "Watership Down").
