Fabric is a super snuggle flannel from Joann's.
This was an interesting sew. I was a pattern tester for this pattern, and my review reflects my make as a pattern test. Its quite possible the pattern has been slightly altered since the draft version I was given for testing. Will I make this again?
ABSOLUTELY! My goal is to make a quilted view F which is a cropped quilted jacket with mini pockets. I might do snaps instead of ties, but we shall see. It will be my first quilting experience.
This pattern's suggested fabrics are light to medium weight woven fabrics for the quilted versions, with medium weight wovens and medium to heavy weight coating for the unquilted versions (A, C &E). You can also use prequilted fabrics for all views.

Great sew and pattern reviews.... I think you will love the jacket when it gets a bit colder and you wear more layers.. The jacket will fit over the layers easy... I think it will be a good grab and go jacket....

So glad I found this vlog. I keep eyeing the Hovea pattern, as I want to make a quilted jacket from a quilt I got at a thrift store. Your review answered all my questions. I do think you will get a lot of use of of your jacket. It's a pretty fabric, so cozy and will come in handy as the weather turns colder. You seemed to really enjoy being a tester, I think you are a natural!

I always look at the final measurements. I’m not into the super oversized. I really want this pattern so I’ll size down! I think you could size down about 2 sizes. You have a nice channel!

Nice make but I agree with your boyfriend it’s just a little big. It looks very comfortable and with be great to cuddle up in on a cold day.
