I'm surprised they didn't mention the Fender Telacoustic model, I bought my Telacoustic the first year it came out, and I love it. This Acoustasonic looks and sounds great, so now I have to save up some cash to get one, then I'd have a pair of great sounding acoustic/electric guitars. I'd never play my solid bodies electric very often...
$2k just seems over the top for what this is. Maybe at half that. Godin A6 Ultra is a definite competitor for half the price. Godin also has 2 jacks you send send out, one for acoustic and the other for the humbucker so you can go to 2 different amps.
They keep emphasizing it’s the “American” Acoustasonic Telecaster. That makes me think there’s a Mexican-made version coming along somewhere down the line which hopefully won’t be $2000.
Not sounding like what he's saying at all. Sounds flat and lifeless compared to an actual acoustic guitar which has depth and a natural reverb to it. Sounds like a crappy DI'd guitar with too much compression. Lifeless.
Wow ! Atlast ! Something New to get excited about ! Can't wait to see where it goes in the next couple of Years .

I had a nylon tele and I wish I still had it
It has real possibilities.
woah! thats awesome, now there's a rival to the Gretsch fidelitron rancher
Isn't this the same guy who used to work for Taylor? I remember him pushing the Expression System as the new and best thing and look where it is now.
I'm pretty sure he designed the T5 and then left and went to Fender .
Gee, is there a Squire China version for the masses? Afterall, $200. is the price point. Should be called the O-fender at $2k

I want
A gig bag for a $2000 guitar?

I know right! Specially being hollow body, it definitely needs a hard case.
My thoughts exactly. Also every demo seems to have tuning issues. Intonation?
@joshua waters Agreed. I would gladly trade my hard cases for compatible gig bags of this quality.
Profit isn’t 50/50 but Fishmann is getting a pretty penny. I think $1999 is reasonable for this

Really ? I thought it sounded Beautiful . You might need a Stereo upgrade , Whinger !
