It is so sad how transphobia is increasing these past few years. I pray the end of this decade sees the complete normalization of the transgender and non-binary identities.
I agree - though my first compulsion is to respond to trolls, I don't because I know how useless it is. What does concern me is that I seem to see more and more transphobic content on UA-cam. Probably this is because attitudes towards trans people have recently deteriorated with all the negative legislation out there. People are looking for arguments against the trans community. Of course, in my opinion, if you look at these arguments they ignore what we know about being trans and are quite paltry. Will it change? I hope so. For now, if you meet someone in person who is interested in the trans experience, it is important to simply explain how you experience being a trans and share what we know and how to help people who accept their true selves.
As mod I blocked more than a few trolls and sea lions today on someone's live stream at the Calgary rally. It's not even worth asking them to explain, just block or report them.
