DDB is probably the most popular variation of vp in the casino. I used to play all the time. Now I stick to BP. It just hurts too much to just get money back for two pair instead of 10 credits (on a five credit bet). Bankroll just lasts so much longer on an 8/5 BP machine. I think BP is an easier game to master, as well. Thanks for your videos, Andrew!
@@Beckysvideopokeringaround HI Becky! Yes, you are the Super Times Pay gal. I have seen a your shorts on the regular. I am heading to your channel to subscribe. Thanks of the comment and feedback :)
Good case study today, referring to triple vs single line. I appreciate your playing of the higher volatility games such as DDB. BP is a safe game and, as a viewer, I tend to click away from those videos.
SlotMass, I saw you holding two pairs multiple times including combos of 22’s and 44’s, with increased pay tables for 2,3,4’s (magic cards as I call them lol) quads with kickers, is this the right play at even money, why not go for the gusto payouts lol🙌💰🙌
I totally get the appeal of the “magic cards” 😉 but the full house pays out 45 on this game and the math works like this: drawing to the 4 cards to make a full house will happen 8% plus of the time giving you money back always and 45 coins 8%+ of the time. When you hold a non paying pair like 2244J choosing the twos, you are guaranteed nothing most of the time and 400 and less often 800 so much less often that going for the 45 credits pays out more if you run each scenario against each other a million times. This remains true for JJ446 in holding the jacks, you won’t hit 4 Jacks often enough to make up for how often you will hit a full house.
Thanks Andrew. I've watched all of your UA-cam videos. If I counted correctly you had two pair 38 times in this session. If you had been playing bonus poker that would've been $950.00 more credit plus whatever the extra hands would win. The four 4s would have paid $1,000.00. Would you say bonus poker is a better bet than double double or are they about the same?
Hello i watch all your video's they are great, I know it's play more to make more but i'm a 5.00 player and i play mostly bonus poker all the time it seems to give me the longest playing time. Will you ever be coming to Atlantic city would love to meet you sometime......Steve
That’s a great question. I play most games relatively well and the mistakes I make are worth maybe $1,000 in EV over the course of a year. I enjoy the challenge of it more than chasing the $1,000 in value and really, the difference between a good player and perfect matters over the course of millions of hands
@@Slotmassacre So, I think what you're saying is you often don't go with the favored hand strategy-wise and basically play how you want to play regardless. I'm glad to hear that because so many UA-cam players go by the book and make the entire video on strategy and it's sooooo very boring.
Sorry guys for the failed upload earlier 🤦
I thought I was experiencing deja vu 🤔 🤷♂️
Shit happens bro.
No problem. Thank you for uploading.
I really like this format lately. Showing the best play on percentages is a good idea moving forward. Please do this more often. Learning a lot
I plan to do it for all videos in this series over the next 4 weeks. Thanks.

Thanks Andrew!!! I really missed learning from your play. Glad you are back posting videos.
A appreciate your enthusiasm, it means a lot
The new format is epic!. Please continue, long vlogs and showing the errors is huge for knowledge.
Thanks, I’ve been wanting to make some changes for a while.
Thanks for posting again. You were missed! Keep it up.
Thanks. 🙏
Congratulations on the 4 of a kind. Ty for the education on the best hold.
Sure thing. Trying to make sure and catch them all and maybe discuss the weirder holds along the way
Nice Quad Hand pay! Awesome session. Love me some Double and Triple.
Andrew thank you for this challenge play. I enjoy this so much and learn so much from it.
I really like your videos and have missed your play.
Thanks. Illustrates what a disaster it is if you dont hit a big hand. Up 425 sounds good, but it's one hand away from being down 1600.
4’s right off the bat! Definitely helps longevity when bankroll is low 😅🍀
💯
He always tries to make that lousy inside straight draw.
Andrew, what are your initial thoughts on Durango? Is it the best stations property to play at?
Video Poker wasteland! At least what I thought when I went. Little of it, bad game sand bad pay tables...
@@SuzannesIHeartVideoPokerI agree with you Suzanne. Much better payables at Durango. At least for my DSTP.

Thanks for posting, Andrew. The tutorials are helpful.
I stayed at the Durango a couple of weeks ago. They did a fantastic job on it!!

Fun session!!! Thanks Andrew
Perfect content for me and I like the review of mistakes. Good job
Holding only the ace with off suited facecards available on ddb seems odd. But that's perfect strategy i guess.
Take the bonus quad and run when the machine gives it to you so easily. But man so many close calls as if the machine is teasing you 🎉
Is mr handpay part of your slotmasscare group

Since you've been paying attention to strategy more do you find you come out ahead more, less, or the same?

I feel you play just as fast as me and everyone always says i go to fast lol i personally like the speed you play
Other than hitting the early quads, that session felt more like one of mine😢
This guy hasn't made a new video in like 6 months what's the deal ?
You play it so fast no one can follow what's happening!
