Here are some of the upcoming electric motorcycles. Do they solve some of the issues that are still stopping this automotive niche from further development? And which of these is the most promising?
For the PRICES, the RANGES ARE LAUGHABLE AT BEST! -- Just like the Fossil Fuel Troglodytes, the main-stream OEM Motorcycle dudes are gonna get WIPED OUT by the 1st one THAT GETS SERIOUS! --- The India Cycle maker was the only one that did a "Head-Fake" in the best direction as far as Price & Range out of the bunch! --- Excellent video and analysis! --- Please keep up the great work!
Not gonna lie. I'm not surprised kawi was the first mainstream Japanese firm to announce an ev but I did expect more.... I'm waiting for Aprilia's and Triumphs offerings
@@automotiveterritory they'd need to bump up the power as it were. Otherwise? Don't see why not. None of those really appeal to me personally But.... you can pick up and R3 or ninja 400 for less money and not be limited by charging times. I like EVs im undecided on which is going to join my speed and tuono in the garage next spring. The zero SR/F, the livewire or the lightning 218.
@@automotiveterritory i like the faired version of the SR series more but thats just me. And the lightning lol oh hell yeah but its more expensive than the live wire. But far better range and top end. Lol My biggest hang up is the total lack of stage 3 charging points.
I would be interested in an ev model that has weather protection and luggage space. Say, an ev Pan European, or FJR. All there is are naked bikes though. Zero has a fairing but that one gives zero protection.
It's very interesting , but will take some time to develop the battery technology to match the current petrol power in range. I guess tesla has no desire to concider the motorbike market just yet.
Elon himself talked about his experience with motorcycles and doesn't want people to get hurt, especially with how fast ev bikes can go and the instant torque.
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews electric superbikes, their performance will ground the petrol bikes for sure. And on a track you don’t really need to worry about mile distance per charge
@@automotiveterritory it's been a great purchase!!! Had an unbelievable time in the mountains mostly offroading with it this weekend. It zips on the street too. And you better believe I will be using that little horn haha. But otherwise it was so quiet I can get by without being disruptive for night rides around the neighborhood. Your video was great and was a factor in my decision making. I would have got the niu if I wasn't offroading so much. Thanks!! 👻👽✌️
@@automotiveterritory so far seems pretty accurate from what the site says which is 40 miles Highway in the hundred City for the 7.2 and I off road with it for over an hour and it went from 100% to 90% which is pretty damn good

Otto bike mcr
KYMCO'S REVONEX, ULTRAVIOLET F77, ENERGICA EVA RIBELLE are my favorite bikes.
That's a nice choice!
Amazing picks!
Have you had a look at the new Emula electric sport motorcycle?
That's cool for those who can't leave the combustion engine behind, like I am...

How much time do you think it should take for electric bikes to become mainstream?
And thanks for your support!

I ELETRIC BIKE FOR $4,000 DOLLARS!?! That's insane!
A good deal or not?
Some of these are indeed cool..
Why do so many of them have clutch levers? Who'd want to have to shift gears on a electric bike?
Kymco bike has this option.
Some EV bikes use that for a regenerative braking lever.

Do you think those would be able to stay competitive on modern motorcycle market?

Lightning Strike and SR/S are the viable options as well

Awesome video
Which of these bikes did you enjoy learning about the most?
Automotive Territory: Trending News & Car Reviews all of them
My top pick is the Damon. Regardless of the price it is a cool newcomer
DC fast charging is a must for all future electric bikes
It is. But there are some data showing that fast charging can negatively influence the battery lifespan.
Ducati And Bimota for life.
Do they have intentions of producing all-electric models?

It has been announced that Tesla has no interest in motorcycle segment. As for the batteries. Yes, we all hope to get better tech soon.
Elon himself talked about his experience with motorcycles and doesn't want people to get hurt, especially with how fast ev bikes can go and the instant torque.
Real love Otto bike mcr
bikes don't need as much space as cars. so more 2-wheelers can help fighting traffic jams.
That's true. What do you think about public transport though?
@@automotiveterritory not so beautiful on sunny days ;-)
I am surely going electric

The list of all models can be found in the description too.
Yeah but u still need ur M licence and insere it to ride it... I think
Most electric motorcycles are powerful enough to require a license to let you operate it.
Got a zero fx boys
Congrats! How do you like it so far?
