See, I feel like everyone thinks that about a drop top with ac. I keep my hair short and especially in traffic…. That too stays up and ac stays on while I drive most days in the summer. Too down weather is for spring/fall and summer nights. Besides that the top in my trans am stays up! It’s a 98 trans am 404ci istroker, built 4l65e and 3600 stall converter and trick chassis 9” 🙌🏼

I do agree with you, AC on a convertible is a bit stupid, in this case here the Vintage Air manifold needs to be closer to the passenger side.

That other sbc header flange pattern, is called Stahl pattern. Mainly used when the header tubes are too big for the regular pattern. My 406 sbc nitrous engine had them.

Bro customer cars are stressful you over thank every step but you do them 100% right id say anything test the factory fuel injectors if you reuse them one my first bent rod on second start last week these week im buying holley and trying dicide if a transmission shop really worth 4k for for a 1000hp 4l80e transmission mine started to have problems and paying 3500$ in taxes for yard i cant have anything in heart breaking more than my years car budget only maid 27k last year i gareentee cost me 20k in gas to earn i lost my 30k saving to trying start a tow company city said could have trucks at my house

I’m seriously confused why the customer wants a 5.3 LS when they have what looks like a fully built 406 with a lot of good aftermarket accessories, don’t get me wrong I love LS engines they are great replacements when an older engine dies?

Also I finally ls swapped the 84 Fleetwood brougham coupe 6.0 4l80e term max -6 ptfe need a drive shaft and figure out the bottom radiator hose install fresh knock sensor and get the alternator wired in I hafta pull fender to replace HVAC box do you recommend a kit for old round gm ac compressor on a truck serpentine 6.0

700r4's have a throttle valve cable, this one is all electric

I’m cringing at that furniture pad on the fender. It’s going to need to be polished after that. You wrap nice paint with plastic wrap then pad it. That pad is like a 2k grit on the paint lol.

Look, man. I like LS's. I think they sound good, they make great power, they're cheap and they get good mpg. I want the truck to sound better and be faster and I don't want spend 3 times as much to make less power just for the sake of being different. Being special and standing out doesn't really matter to me. I'm just trying to have a good time lol
Ok. I understand. You must really like doing all that work. I used to be a gear head, but I just couldn’t do the LS stuff. You need this and that, then you have to find someone to tune them. It just helped me say no I am done!!! I used to work on cars on the side, I don’t even do that anymore. To much computer shit!!! I am old school. And I guess if I was to get back into it I would stay old school. But you are right, the LS is one hell of a motor.

Yeah I've noticed with the SBC and BBC guys end up putting EFI on it 😂 might as well LS it at that point 😂😉
If you're buying an aftermarket ECU and upgrade, it cost the same to do a sbc or bbc. You can run a terminator x and coil per plug on them.
I'm building a twin turbo bbc 1973 donk vert, for a customer, right now.
I still don't see the point in putting sensors on an old motor design LS is more reliable in my opinion
@@nmrc7778 Like what?? You don't know what you're talking about. Old engines had, CTS and oil pressure. When you put a throttle body on, you get your TPS. IAT is easy and usually has to be put into a LS swap deal, anyway. You put in a dual sinc distributor and you get your cam and crank signal. And that's of you want sequential Injection. You could run a regular distributor and control all EFI with the ECU.
Research, before, knocking the system.
So, you're saying all these racers with 2500 to 4500 horse sbc and bbc engines, are wasting their time?
The big block I'm doing for my customer will make 1800 horse, barely trying. 462ci bbc twin 78/75 turbos. Waste of time?? Doubt it.
