- The boys in Flatfoot 56 are no strangers to touring. They have been holding their own for over ten years, and this year was no exception. Releasing new full length album 'Toil' on Florida based label Paper and Plastic. There schedule has sent them across the USA and Canada multiple times this year, with trips to Russia and Europe as well!!!
They showed up in Vancouver on October 16 having been on the road with Less Than Jake for just shy of two months. We were able to film their Victoria and Vancouver show, as well as two sound checks and an in-studio performance, the result is the video you are about to watch.
This song titled 'I Believe It', is one of the singles on their new album 'Toil'. Released this last summer on the 24th of July.

First time I heard them I was going to see Stiff Little Fingers at the Double Door, in Chicago. I was an instant fan and bought a copy of Jungle of the Midwest Sea at the show... Great album!
I’ve seen ‘em twice, unfortunately. Both times involuntary (was working door at the club they played at). They are mediocre and quite forgettable onstage.

I saw them back in 2011. I was there to see a different band and They were opening. They put on a damn good show and I'm glad I saw them. I finally found another good band! (I'm very picky)
Seen them twice now! Once at Warped Tour than when I went to Chicago IL their home town and saw them at Riot Fest. This band is so so UNDERRATED!!! They need to have views in the millions like Dropkick Murpheys! I truly believe that!

You know, some christian music is all like "Praise the lord! Thank God For Jesus! Reign in heaven and all that good stuff! Koombaya, hallelujah, et cetera". That's all fine and dandy, but this is like, real, emotional, sick stuff.

If you listen to certain artists, than you'll get that. But if you listen to just them, than you're not getting the full scope of it.

I believe it means living while not knowing when you will pass(die). I'm not 100% sure tho.
What I get from that line is basically enjoy your life because time doesn't wait, so make the best of it before it's over.

You obviously don't get worship music or contemporary Christian music.
LITERALLY one of the only good Christian bands. And it feels dirty to even call them that; they transcend that single-minded categorisation.

Josiah Huskins I definitely would call them christian but it is one of those bands that does not just sing about "Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus". I feel they pour out their heart about the true struggles of man, and how Christ is their anchor. I also feel that some of their songs are just done out of PURE joy. These are true brothers using their talent to bless God and bless people.
James Simison You are right, I can't stand the christian bands that sing to Jesus like a girlfriend.
Honestly, I agree with him, man. Worship music nowadays is the Christian music equivalent of dance music in the mainstream. There's simply too much of it, and almost all of it's generic and repetitive.
