I was raised LDS, never went to the temple bc my gut said don't do it. I'm 52 and the only one in my family that didn't. I consider myself an internet Christian. Everything I have learned has come from youtube videos and reading the bible. I prayed wanting to know the truth and found Mike Heiser. I am grateful for all these podcasts.
I cannot help but think of Barnabas as a possible writer, given his travels with Paul, his strong connections with the early church body and leaders, but most importantly, his description of being a Levite. This would explain his intimate knowledge of the temple and direct analogies to it. He was also called the son of Consultation (comforting the disciples), which is clearly taking place in this epistle during heavy pressure and persecution. I think he makes an excellent candidate for authorship consideration.

Where can I find the Beth Tanner article? I can’t find it in the podcast article archives....
