@@fF-jb4gs Oh yeah , I have no illusions about that, Adams & Marty passed on information to the British about IRA units like the ones at Loughgall, Strabane, Drummnakilly, Coagh & Clonoe who were opposed to the Sinn Fein strategy of taking seats in the Dublin & Belfast parliaments.
Whether he's a sell out or not is a matter of personal opinion but to call him or Martin both of whom have devoted their entire adult lives to the cause of Irish independence and have done more, sacrificed and risked so much more every day than most here have done in their whole lives speaks for itself. There's no evidence because it's not remotely true. Adams might be a lot of things ( I like him and admire what he's done by the way and I make no secret of that) and again it's mostly down to personal opinion but he's no tout. @@thomasshepard6030 We know that both the British Army/RUC and British government lied about huge things like Bloody Sunday, Ballymurphy, & Springhill massacres, the Gibraltar killings, covered for people and events connected to the Glenanne Gang such as giving Jackson the Jackal immunity for murder and made cover stories the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, colluded with the UVF in the 70s and the UFF in the late 80s/ early 90s, lied about the Guildford 4, Birmingham 6, Maguire 7 and Judith Ward etc. Stands to reason they would make small lies to like this.
The SAS couldn't beat them after 30 years so what chance did these young lads have in the back of a 4 tonner. This conflict should have had a negotiated peace settlement in the early 1980`s but Thatcher's Conservative Government wanted to escalate the conflict
