Ahh I just came back from Seattle
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Marry me. I’ll challenge your guy to Rock, Paper, Scissors for your heart.
I hope you had so much fun up here in Seattle! I'm a local but a lot of these places are news to me. Can't wait to try them
Same :)
SAME
Same 😁
Same most def
As a local it's really cool seeing the city through someone else's experience. It's nice to see some new spots I can check out for good food. Thank you for the awesome video.
I live in Seattle so I was so excited to see this! I'm half Taiwanese so I love that you went to 19Gold for food. They have boba there too that's also very authentic. Thanks for going to Frankie & Jo's for us non-dairy people out there. They change their flavors every month and it's always so flavorful and yummy 😋
I’ve lived in Seattle for more then 10 years and I’d like to say it’s the most adventurous place I’ve ever been !!
I’m from Seattle! I moved after graduating college and it hasn’t been a year since I left but I already miss Seattle so much:( it’s truly a beautiful city! Glad you got a chance to visit:)
Same
I grew up in Seattle and miss it so much 😭 I feel like it is such a vibrant place full of food, all kinds of food.
So thankful you made this video! Those noodles at Biang Biang looked irresistible.. cant believe i had never heard of this restaurant before, so we JUST went there to try it out -- and it was SO SO GOOD. Thanks so much for the reco!
YAY! When travel restrictions are relaxed, hopefully I can visit Seattle to try all these delicious snacks! Love this!
yess you must! seattle is a great place to visit :)
Your food reviews are elite 🥰😋
hehe so glad you enjoy them!! 💕💕
Omg you're in my city!! You picked great places to get food ahhh excited to see what else you try in Part 2! I just want to say that you should have tried the crispy chicken or tofu bao at Biang Biang-they're so greasy but SO flavorful!
Yayyyy! New content! Thank you Mei Mei, hope you’re having a good one 😍😌💗
haha sorry it took a bit longer than usual, but hope you enjoy the video!! 💕
I too love Seattle food culture. Love your succinct honest commentary. Keep up the great vlog content.

I literally love all your videos they make me so happy keep doing what you do great!!
thank you so much!!! you're so sweet, appreciate you 💕💕
this is crazyyyy, i first followed you when i lived in SF, and i moved to Seattle a couple years ago and now you're doing seattle stuff! thank for this!!
I used to live in the Seattle area and this vid made me miss it! So many new shops I’ve never been to, guess I’ll have to make a trip back home soon 🥹
I had to paws at the chocolate bulldog mousse, what a doggone cool dessert
I hope you enjoyed Seattle!!! I wish I could go there and your videos always make me hungry
next time u go to molly moons you have to try the honey lavender with the lemon curd!! absolutely delish
I live in Seattle and haven’t tried many of these places. Thanks for all the great suggestions!
you seriously make the best food videos on youtube :)
Awesome video! Next time you need to try “Matcha Man” in Georgetown. It’s an amazing soft serve and taiyaki shop. I recommend going in the spring when you can get delicious lavender and Sakura flavors.
I was so excited to see this because it definitely hits different when you’re a frequent visitor
Hey from the UK! Hope to one day be able to try all these foods even though it’s not often the north east has those foods 😣 xxxxx
Amazing video ❤️❤️❤️
ah I hope you can try them sometime too!! sending love to the UK 💕💕
PLEASE DO PHILLY!!!!! I lived there and they have AMAZING food. The food is sooo underrated
Ahh such a cute video! Looks like a fun trip! Can't wait for part two
New meimei video on my day off I’m so happy!!! 😭❤️ can’t wait for your Trader Joe’s video! I work there and was telling a customer about your channel because we were discussing the boba ice cream lol I told her I’m a boba texture expert now because of you 😂
I LOVE THE WALLOWS I didn’t expect to see them in this video😭 I’m actually gonna see them live next month and I’m so excited!
MEIMEI!!! YOU ARE SO AMAZING!! I made a new friend recently out of the love of boba. She asked me if I watched your channel and we both freaked out when we realized we both are fans of your channel! Love your channel!! c:
i was waiting for this to drop!! and i love that part 2 is coming soon 😭 youre easily one of my favorite youtubers, i do not miss a video!!
Thank you so much for this review and recommendation! I’m traveling in a couple months and can’t wait to check these places out
Just tried Biang Biang bc of your rec and LOVED IT! So delish ❤
I love how you just randomly pointed out at the lettuce 🥬
🤣🤣🤣
I’m so glad you ventured out of downtown and Cap Hill and went to Fremont! There’s a lot of great food outside of the city center, too 😊
The food looks amazing and tasty 😋
Great vids. If you're still in Seattle, check out Billy Beach Sushi & Bar. I know the name is a bit weird, but the omakase there is great and the prices are decent, especially during happy hour. My friend's think I'm a sushi snob, but after living in Japan for over 2 years, I'm accustomed to good quality sashimi.
I hope you had a lovely trip!!!!! Thank you for doing all of this, much love as per usual
I worked as a travel nurse in Seattle for a total of 6 months in 2015 and 2016 and living in Capital Hill was awesome. The food scene was outstanding and I often found myself in the International District to get some food. Uwajimaya was one of my favorite places to visit
Omg okay so idk if you've tried these places but whenever you come back here are my top recommendations as a local: Dough Zone Dumpling House (best crispy yet soft pork buns ever and great soup dumplings), Sip House (really good Asian-based coffeehouse), Hot Cakes in Ballard (molten lava cakes and ice cream, and Asadero (Mexican cuisine but like really good steak tacos)
HIII Mei mei!! ILY 🤟 you and your family rocks! I’m going to sf this week and I love all your food tips!!
Definitely going to urban ritual!❤️
@@aliyahkim6153 aw ily too!!! have fun in sf and eat lots of good food 😋
I want to do a food tour like this in another city IT LOOKS SO FUN!!! Amazing amazing video super entertaining!
Would you consider doing specific tours like a Seattle seafood/chicken tour or vegetarian tour?
Had a lousy morning, and so glad to catch your videos! Love the content!
I love how you got boba and ice cream before dinner and then had dessert afterwards
Mei Mei you have a really wonderful energy about you! I enjoy your channel! You are the best noodle eater too! 😂♥️
aw you're too kind thank you so much!! being the best noodle eater is the highest compliment 😂💕
This was fun to watch as someone who lives in Capitol Hill. I run down that cherry tree street on my usual jogging path. Also, not to be weird but the apartment you were staying in (recording in?) looked so much like my old apartment; it was kind of surreal.
ARE U KIDDING ME!?! If only this video came out earlier I would’ve known where to go in Seattle. Gotta go back next time just to visit these places
Mouth watery foods! These are my favorites! 😍😋
OMG I WENT TO PHO BAC! I was so excited to see u went there. When my family visited Seattle we didn’t plan on where to go to eat but ended up getting lost around Seattle while it was raining and finally found this place. I didn’t try the rib pho but it was still soooo good
Also someone should check out Boba up in Seattle or at least look it up!!
Meimei i love ur videos im excited to see this one :)
I would honestly love to see if you could take these series in San Diego!
that boba bear bottle is so freaking adorable
One: yes!! To almost 30mins
Two: everytime you post I do a "yes" first!
You are amazing.
If you return to Seattle, try and visit the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls. It is about 45 min outside of Seattle and gorgeous. Then stop by the Snoqualmie Ice Cream. I went here for the 1st time recently and I am still thinking about the French Toast Biscotti Ice Cream I tried. Reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I have to say, I liked them better than Molly Moons.
A few years back there was this super delicious icecream shop in Seattle called Central District ice cream. They had a flavor with literal cheese in it called Ube Queso. Best icecream I've ever had in my life. They closed because of covid and I dont live in Washington anymore but it was delicious
I love watching your videos but it’s always a bummer I can’t try the Bay Area places you go to. Seattle is my city! Woohoo! Can’t wait for part 2! (And to try some of these places I’ve never been!)
I make my own ox tail Pho at home, usually spend about $150-$175 and make 2 huge pots. Get about 24 bowls.
"Probably not Dick's fault for the soggy fries" lol good one. even their "fresh" fries are soggy !
MEI MEI LITERARILY UR MY HEROEE U OFTEN GIVE EVERYONE THE BEST TIPS FOR WHEN WE TRAVEL OR VISIT NEW PLACES! KEEP DOING WHAT UR DOING BC UR DOING AN AMAZING JOBB!! I LOVE UUU 💗!
Loved this food tour. Can't wait for part 2
You’ve got to try Roccos, Saint bread, local tide, tai tung (seattles oldest Chinese restaurant!) and sushi kashiba.
A whole week for part 2? Man! Really enjoyed this!
I’m new to Washington so this helped. Thank you!
Yes! I've been waiting for this video and looking forward to watching it!!!
hahah it's finally here!! thanks for watching derek :)
Watching you is sooo relaxing!!! ❤❤❤
I ❤that you came to my city!!!! It was fun seeing you enjoy our food up here. You guys should move up here.
It's so crazy how I didnt even notice you now have 507k subs!! I first got here when you had like 30k,, so proud of you and congratulations!!
That Matcha parfait looks like a Halo halo.. looks yummy 😋
at 7:39 you had a shot of El Corazon, which is one of my favorite music venues in Seattle
i loved this video because when i first went to seattle i had no idea what cool stuff to do or fun stuff to try AND NOW I HAVE SO MANY OPTIONS FOR WHEN I GO BACK. I CANT WAIT FOR PART TWO (also cute cat)
It’s where I live. I’m hoping your video will show something new and interesting, so I can try them myself.
Moving from California, I realized people in Washington state love pho and teriyaki (more like Japanese’s and Chinese fast food restaurants owned by Korean). No matter where you live there is one 5 minutes away.
I really enjoyed your Seattle video. Especially, u did not go to those typical places like Pike Place. Although i live in Seattle but I've not been to those places in your video. Thanks again.
Omg! Welcome to Seattle 💜 You should try Tea King!
The reason the dish is called mochi is that there's this pokemon game called Legends of Arceus and in it is a dish called potato mochi
which the main characters always eat.
Aww right when I come you leave 🥺. Hope you had fun here tho 🫶🏼I will definitely be trying these places !
This city has so much to choose from! Can’t wait to go back.
Love these food tours!! Keep ‘em up!! 😍🤤
I have been in Seattle for two years and I didn't know these street food prior to this video. Thank you, Meimei! Btw, Seattle winter sucks and it either rains or is cloudy, quite depressing. And the winter here lasts 6-7 months. 😂
Really? I’ve lived h.ere my whole life and I love the winters
@@napsiyah1 Maybe it's just me. I lived in Cali prior to moving here. Cali spoiled me.
@@napsiyah1 same lol but i haven’t lived hear my whole life
I just found your channel!! Love it!! Im from Seattle and now am on a hunt to explore all the places you went to!!! Thank you!!! Great video!!!
Heading to Seattle next weekend. Can’t wait to try your recommendations. Thank you.
Every place you go to seems so great. I really wanna go to Seattle now 😭
12:30 The picture of the jav women in the background 🤣
When I visit again with my Auntie in Seattle I hope to try some of these places.
I love going to seattle and all the places you tried looks amazing!!
