I’m like you, I like cool rc monster trucks , crawling is alright but I don’t have a crawler . I enjoyed the episode so I liked and subscribed, noticing the cars in the background I’m sure I will enjoy future content.
They're fun tough and can be fast the transmission bump in the center is a real hangup point but other than that it's pretty good. I have the Pubg UAZ version by thunder tiger but it's the exact same platform just different body
The only real week link on the Tioga is the gears. No matter how gentle you are the plastic gears WILL strip and break. Metal gear upgrades are overpriced but available. I’ve heard people complaining about plastic shocks…they might have been plastic but they’re threaded aluminum now. It comes with a charger and an 850mah 2 cell lipo. The brushed motor is almost to powerful for the gearing and it should be a long time before it needs new brushes. Tower has it on sale for $120 rye which is an insanely good deal.
@@nocontrolrc8290 A main hobbies has the compete Team associated metal transmission conversion for $45. Expensive but worth it. Then you can blast up and down the street and crawl hard without breaking gears. I’ve heard the gears are a pain to install. It doesn’t need a brushes motor. The stock motor will eventually need new brushes but it’s very powerful for an entry level crawler of 1/12th scale. just upgrade to a waterproof servo and waterproof the receiver and it can do anything but fly. Brushed motors continue to prove their worth.

If if had monster truck tires on it would it be better than the mt12 stock? Awesome video
I'm pretty sure It is the mt 12 with smaller tires. I will be converting it to a monster truck, though. so we will see for sure soon
I have just found out that this crawler has plastic bevel gears inside the diffs!!!

Looks really jerky and twitchy. Can you turn down the control sensitivity?

The MT12 is actually a CR12 cuz they made a ford and Toyota way before this dodgeish looking ine
