Sometimes, it feels like yesterday when my ex-husband and I consciously uncoupled and agreed that raising a sane child was a priority over our messiness and insanity. Twelve years later, we both agree that our divorce was a blessing in disguise, and our daughter was better off being raised by divorced sane parents than insane married ones. Single parenting isn't a walk in the park, but it's better than the alternative of choking another woman's son or daughter.
This right here is a good point..thank you and congratulations
Change and adaptability during adversity is a must-do. Mrs. Kisarale, my English teacher, my headmistress, I celebrate you!
Hello Pumla and Pumla alone. So I'm a single mother from Kenya. Everything was alright until I became pregnant. The long and short of it is I became a single mother upon the announcement of the pregnancy to the other parent. (Mind you he had even named the baby) But here I am. My boy is 7 months and I'm now beginning to feel the heat. But there's a significant part of me that is sure we will turn out just fine. So I'm hanging in there.
That significant part honey. That's the part you've got to hang onto because - Yes...you will be alright. I'm so sorry about what happened with your baby daddy. But you know what - life happens for a reason. Maybe he'll one day want to be a part of his child's life but also - maybe he won't. Either way...your child has got you. Capitalise on that. Do the best you can. Being okay is entirely a decision you make love. You will both be ALRIGHT. ❤. P
Same exact thing happened me love. My son is now 10 years old! You can do it Mama. It wasn't easy at the start but I ahd so much help from my family and friends. Things got better by the day. We lack nothing now and never shall we lack.
@@pumlanabachwa8668 you're great! I love how objective you are. And how the only direction for you is forward. Keep it up mama. Also how can I access the financial literacy content?
Gotta love a self aware intuitive lady in her sixties, serving wisdom! Thank you Bumplove for always bringing amazing guests ❤
Oh kisa. Just realised how much I miss you!!! I really enjoyed every assembly. We had to get back to the drawing board every Friday haha
Oh yes... We always had to get back to the drawing board!

Hello Ladies? A big hug to Vicky. She's been blessed tremendously by the Grace of God. 🙏🏽

Mrs Kisarale thank you for sharing your life . You shaped us as young girls in Kibuli I owe my discipline and holding my head up high to you . Be blessed
Wow... It feels like am in school again and missing those morning assemblies on Fridays. Thank you ladies for the show.
Woowoo . The guest reminds me about my mom. Befriending the kids is very important. We were our mom's friends till her last breath. Saying sorry is very important too.
Oh yes, Kisa says sorry. I remember she used to say 'Girls Iam sorry'
Wow! Thank you ladies for all this wisdom. I am so grateful for all the lessons.
When this episode aired and I saw it, I didn't give it much attention like the other episodes, little did I know that on April 21st 2022,I would be declared a widow after my husband passed on on that day leaving
me with two young souls of 6 and 2 years respectively, it is tough but the Lord is my strength in this trying time.

You were a perfect headmistress for the girls at Gayaza High school 🤩🤩🤩Mrs Kisarale
Am a young widow. My husband traveled for a year for work, we spoke on 30th Dec and he asked me to call him when the kids wake up and also send him videos of the kids. The next time I called, he wasn't picking and this was never him coz he always picked.
I called his friends that stay in the same state and told them Robert was not okay. They asked why, I told them my husband has never taken a day without talking to his kids.
My husband died in the bathroom, alone without us. We never got to see his body coz he was cremated.
The pain!!!
Is too much I can't explain.
It's been a year and months since he died but it feels like it just happened yesterday.
Ohhh I pray God gives you strength...
😭
Oh mehhn, gosh that's tough!! Sending you lots of love and hugs.
I am all tears as I watch this episode because my siblings and I had gotten to the level of talking like equals with our late mother... she always had to remember that we were her children, may she continue resting. she died September 2021
May your mom rest peacefully ❤. P
hugs 🥺
Thanks Mrs.kisa
Am different by divine design. 😂😂😂aah Kisa
Thanks for the show ladies, Qn how do l create a good environment for my child and daddy to communicate?
Hi bump love u did well to bring this up but honestly some of the tips work for even for double parents not just single parenting.
Kisa😍😍😍😍
Mrs. Victoria literally reminds me of my mum, like she is my mum, she was left a young widow, no source of income, but like Mrs. Victoria said, you either fly or die. My mum flew against the tides and here we are. a few years ago I asked my mum why she was so tough when we were growing up. She asked me "what choice did I have? I had to be tough because getting spoiled wasn't an option", like she wasn't ready to be judged by everyone. But she hasn't yet learned the art of apologizing or accepting that she is wrong🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's the Enid look at min 8:00 for me
I am not cut out to die 👏👏👏👏 nice lesson even for usual life challenges.i am young but this was a lesson I picked.
2.I am different by divine design.
I am not cut out to die. So powerful! P
Thank you ladies in a special way Mrs Kisarale for the advice.
How I wish she is brought back on the next continuing show on single motherhood
Hahaha! Due to public demand, we definitely will. P

Our headmistress
Let me see good in everybody. Yoooo
How to date as a single mum...pumla talk top
We need part II of Kisa
wooow
Acknowledging when am wrong banange
I am currently reading 'Act like a lady and think like a man' by Steve Harvey. I really beginning to understand men a little bit.
I struggle to think positively on how my children are affected by the absence of the male figure. I was raised by my single mother, and my fathers absence effected me so harshly that I spent the majority of my life chasing boys/ men to give me the love I didn’t receive from my father. I fear for my daughters is that they will end up in the same cycle.. any advice is appreciate…. Thank you, and many Blessings🙏
Kisaaaaa
Great session. We need a session on children with eye defects that are not noticeable till late
This shall be considered. P
Madam pumla has vic got a book that she wrote
We see Pumla and Racheal exchanging looks
😆😆😆
Beautiful...I await the second "atomic" bomb you alluded to in the discussion... Thanks, Bump Love!

Awo ku married single mothers , can we just camp there for a minute
Hello bump love am a single mum of two teenagers ,I became a single mum at 20 when I was at campus ,I shouldered on ,managed to get a job am a state attorney what hurts me most the father of my children has never ever taken interest in their upbringing, well am gainfully employed I don't mind his financial contributions but I have a feeling my kids are psychologically affected by his absence especially at school when their peers are talking about their dads and mine have nothing to say.A case in point when my son had just joined SMACK in S1 for the first time he requested me to give him the phone contact for 'that man' I asked him which man he said Ssemaganda I was like which Ssemaganda he said my dad I provided the number he never called .Till of recent when they were registering for UACE they wanted their dads contacts I resend it .I really don't know how he is going to turn up in future as a dad and or as a husband
Oooh Dia, God is a constant father, he understands you and understands your son* , your children. Please don't stop telling/ praying to God about how your son will be a good husband and father.Nothing is impossible with this God I know 😍🥰
Take him for counselling since you are well-off. Already he hates his father and will soon blame you for his leaving and start hating women! Get him into counselling asap for his good and the good of society. Thank you for providing him with a good education despite your troubles.
Watching this has made me feel so nostalgic in remembrance of the assemblies while at Gayaza 🥹🥹this was a nice one though 💯
