We build a lot floaters here in Louisiana. 1. Strap in your barrels..they will pop out if you don't. 2. You guys need a black spray paint party. 3. Running old fencing around the exterior helps hold brush and you just slide the branches in it. Top also.
Just giving helpful advise. Love the dedication my dude!
Thanks for the tips 🤙
Why did you choose to plywood the inside of the walls and not the outside? Besides giving up the square footage it seems it would also be easier add things later I.e. gun racks, shelves, coat hooks and what not. Just an observation. Love the channel, keep up the good work.
My thought exactly
Worddd!
I was just going to comment the same thing. Plywood out would be easier to use bungee cords or straps to brush in.
From the great Northwest public Duck blind.I definitely be attaching those drums to the blind tip one way and they're gonna shoot right out when you guys sit to the backside and you. Have water underneath you?
That's 3 and a 1/2 inches of 2 by 4 is not going to hold that drum underneath you.
Need to tie it down somehow to stay together.
Is this on public land? I love hunting other peoples blinds thanks for doing so much work for the public to use
Sweet blind man, hope it works good for y’all this season 👍🦆
Looking good
How are the barrels supposed to stay under it?
smarticus von weedius
Duck crack 🤙
Jordan the blind is looking great. But y’all gotta rub some of that black mud into the bare parts of the wood or it’ll stick out!
More great stuff, Jordan! I love your DIY projects. Speaking of that, how did your converted sailboat work out?
bro anchor that one down... looking good.
Good point 😂😂
Howd you attach the barrels to the under
Any chance you’d post the sketch you and hunter drew up for this blind? I’ve got a similar idea for a blind on a spot. Just ran out of time with other hunting projects for season so I’m wingin’ it but love the look of this blind! Keep grinding man! Loving the videos leading up to season!
Ya message me on Insta or Facebook 👍
How do you keep it from floating away?
Genuine question. Why did u pick that spot for the blind. The drone view shows nothing but weeds and vegetation in front of it. What’s your plans?
Yeah, part of us making it a floating blind so we can move it later on if we need to. Right next to the blind there’s a bunch of smart weed and it’s all through the lilly pads there too. historically birds land in that area and when the temperatures cool off and the water levels come up all the lily pads drop below the water. it’s been a hot summer, but hopefully some timely fall rain storms come through and give us the water we need for hunting season.
@@DuckGunChronicles alright I like it. I figured y’all had a method to the madness but I was curious! Get em boys. If y’all are ever out in Idaho lmk.
That is freakin awesome
I would have stained it just to make wood last a bit longer but 🤷🏽♂️
I know exactly where this is 😅😅
Lol I hope not 😅
I hope it wasnt built on public land but if it was then I hope you get there earlier and hunt it with your buddies before the op gets there, theres nothing more irritating then people who think that because they built a blind out on public land that that is there spot and nobody else can hunt near it
Things we do to kill ducks lol
Lol it was tough!
I have a spot in Michigan that I would love to show u all kinds of duck and geese coots teal hooded Maganser’s wood ducks redheads mallards
