When Breath Becomes Air is an incredible book - lucid, generous and insightful. I think I highlighted half the text as I read. Paul's voice had me laughing out loud at his humor, nodding my head as he dissects the gifts and limitations of modern medicine, and in the end crying tears of gratitude and grief that this short, wise book is all I will have of him when I am greedy for so much more. Thank you for making sure we all got to read it. Blessings on you, Lucy, and to all Paul's family and friends, particularly that gorgeous child you both brought into this world.
