Thank you for addressing my question. I always feel insecure about the fact if people would like the things I make🙈 It's great to know that there are hardly issues with the garments you send. Although yes being just 21 you are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. Always proud of you for everything that you do Natalia 🤗❤️

Started my first crochet sweater project while listening to this as a podcast. And thank you for giving me the kick I needed. ❤️

I'm going to launch my brand and I'm doing everything on my own... knowing that you made it in just one month 😱 I admire you! It took me 2 months just to find sustainable fabrics 😅

I really get the feeling when you tell you're doing everything by yourself. It's so hard to do every single work by ourselves but you handle it pretty well. Kudos to you Natalie!!

It's so hard to do what you're doing all by yourself! Such an inspiration though and so glad that you are another person taking a step forward in the slow fashion movement for the fashion industry!! xx

This is so helpful for us who are starting out. Sustainability is such a tricky topic, for example, leather isn’t only an issue because of animal cruelty, but it’s also one of the most harmful industries for the workers manufacturing leather fabric, I am not happy with supporting that, personally. Still, (recycled) animal leather is much more durable than „vegan“ polyester leather. Great to see a more balanced perspective here!

Yea! There’s so many things that factor in on it which is why I just don’t judge which side people take! There’s pros/cons to both!

What UA-cam channels did you watch for illustrator?

ahhh I’m gonna be a senior in high school who wants to get a fashion design degree but I was really considering going to a traditional university (I still planned on applying to FIT.) Since I live in Oregon it would be hard for me to go all the way to New York without getting all the experiences I’d like

There’s plenty of people that go to traditional universities and end up equally successful! Fashion design isn’t really a one-way street, there’s a lot of different routes you can take to make it :)

We learned digital pattern drafting but in a very expencive software that is not worth the money unless u have h&m kind of big company. I never heared of pattern drafting in illustrator. Thanx for the information.

    Thank you 🖤
My question is, how much do you think it'll cost if you find an industry that can sew things for you? And how to find that kind of industry?

In NYC its several hundred $ per garment. Like 200-600$. If you're polish, it's a lot cheaper though. Maybe 50$ for a shirt? Still expensive. Natalia Dedios made a yt video about it. Very cheap in developing countries but they are very sketchy ethics wise.

I’ll never disclose my income but like any other business, you can scale it up a lot if you work for it

Same. Also wondering if there will be space for more sustainable niche clothing businesses now after this rush of a bunch of them during covid

FIT is the best fashion school but you never learned how to pattern grade?
