41/40 Had the advantage being in my 20's tho..!!
WOW amazing score! You’re super smart regardless of your advantage! You deserve a pin! :)
how do you get 41 out of 40 , ?
@@johndownie5867 I know "should have had the other Bonus" 42/40
Either you know it or you don't- it's got nothing to do with memory... and Harvard is not even close to the oldest university
Exactly. Bologna is the first university. Sorbonne is also one of the oldest. Harvard may be the oldest university in the US but very far from the world.
Oldest University is University of Bologna, from late 11th century! There bave been many universities between then and Harvard in 1636.
Exactly. Thanks for pointing it out. 🇬🇧👍
AGREED. This means that the person asking the questions could answer 39 out of 40.
Year 1088!🇮🇹
Oxford university is way older than Harvard.
Cambridge University is from the 13 hundreds. .
@@lindakoukkuluoma7743
First teaching at Oxford goes back to 1096.
@@davidbarlow350 Bologna is the first university and oldest, founded in 1088.
34/40. Question 35 is rubbish! Parkin is mainly northern English and there is NO traditional food on Bonfire Night! I have over 70 years of bonfire memories across Britain. As others have pointed out, #37 is also wrong by about 400 years! Please check better in future. 🇬🇧👍
Well done!⚘️
WOW great job! And you’re absolutely right, I’ll do my best to correct my mistakes moving forward! Keep it up though! :)
24/40. Not a memory problem but a lack of knowledge of American facts.
You’re still doing well sir! As long as you’re learning something new everyday, you’re improving as an individual! :)
@@thequizstorm Learning a new factoid every day improves you as an individual? You're kidding, right?
I had a better knowledge of music than the other categories. Being a musician helped.
Oldest university in the world. Bologna 1088.
19/40 had fun and learned a lot! Thank you 🙏🤷🏼♀️👏
Well done Margaret, as always! Consistently learning, consistently acquiring knowledge daily. Always proud of you! :)
42/50 Quizzy Quiz 🇨🇦👍
WOW well done Robert! Extremely intelligent individual! Keep it up! :)
30/40 Thank you for this challenge. 👍😁
WOW great job Lupi. Intelligent as always! And of course, my pleasure! :)
Hello again! Hope you are doing well. 💕👍
@torfrida6663 Good day, torfrida. I am doing well, thank you. I hope the same for you. Have a wonderful day. Take care.
21/40 WAS MY SCORE
WOW that’s still an impressive score Sheila. As long as you’re here acquiring knowledge, you’ll never be at a loss. Keep it up! :)
While we're on this memory subject, lets try another memory question. Think of a positive number. Add one to that number and invert the result, and you get back the original number. What is that number? Let φ represent that number. Then φ=1/(φ+1) is what we are looking for. Multiplying this equation by (φ+1) and rearranging gives φ^2+Φ-1=0. Again, remembering the root-finding method for a quadratic equation I find the positive root φ=(-1+√5)/2. And again, the memory of anyone 65+ who can solve this Trivia Quiz is Working Fine.
36 did good till trivia . Not bad for 74 considering I have trouble remembering what I had for lunch.😅
HAHA! You’re absolutely right, not bad for a 74, in fact it’s quite impressive at that age! Keep it up! :)
21/40 not bad for slowpoke
You’re RIGHT, Angela! That’s not bad at all! You were able to answer a surprising amount as well as learn new things today! Keep it up! :)
I think Oxford goes back to the 13th century
29/40 I also fell on the American questions, but I guess I am also a little ignorant as well.
That’s still quite impressive, Marj! Yeah, the American questions can throw some people off. We got people from different countries participating in these quizzes! But a great job, nonetheless! :)
23 correct answers.I 'll try my best next time.
WOW that’s still a really good score, Beco! Although you didn’t perform as well you expected, you still acquired some knowledge playing this quiz! Keep it up! :)
If you weren't brought up watching films or listening to pop music the results for me were pretty poor, nothing to do with my memory!
32/40 - learned a few things...
I’m glad you did! And that was a phenomenal score, James. Keep it up! :)
28 points.
WOW that’s actually quite good Annie! Although you probably didn’t get the score you desired, you still learned something new! Keep it up! :)
The history part was too easy. But the music part was all popular music. Not fair. Ask some classical music questions. A lot of us don't listen to pop music. Really trivial questions. Not a judge of memory but of knowledge of unnecessary things.
I'm 70 and I had 37
WOW only THREE wrong!? Your memory is razor sharp for your age! Keep it up! :)
Traditional dish on bonfire night? Rubbish your answer
Baked potatoes more like
Anything hot and paint I’d say.
30
WOW amazing job Bill! Your memory is quite sharp! Keep it up! :)
I got 30 out of 40 LOL NOT TOO GOOD!!
WOW amazing job! That is still quite good, don’t be hard on yourself! Keep it up! :)
I got 25
WOW amazing job!! Although that might not have been the best score, you still did quite well considering your age! As long as you’re learning something new everyday, you’re doing fine! Keep it up!
30/40
WOW amazing job Patrick! Razor sharp memory! Well done! :)
Scripture says the ark came to rest on the Mountains OF Ararat. Not Mount Ararat
33/40
WOW well done Jeffrey! Looks like your memory is on point! Keep it up! :)
Harvard is oldest university in America, not world
25
WOW amazing job once again Debbie! :) Although your score wasn’t the best for this quiz, I’m sure you’ve learned something new! Keep it up! :)
At age 63 seven wrong. Not bad.
WOW only seven? That’s incredible for your age to be able to retain that amount of knowledge! Keep it up! :)
39/40
WOW YOU’RE SUPER INTELLIGENT, CARL! Well done! :)
26
Aw nice try Clara! As long as you’re acquiring knowledge on my quizzes, you’re never at a loss! Practice makes perfect! Keep it up! :)
29. Not good.
NO, absolutely not! That’s still a very good score considering the intensity of this quiz! As long as you’re gaining knowledge from this quiz, you’ve lost nothing! Keep it up:)
This memory garbage proves nothing. How about this? Think of a positive number. Subtract one from that number and invert the result, and you get back the original number. What is that number? I'm over 80 and let's test my "failing" memory on this Trivia Quiz. Let Φ represent that number. Then Φ=1/(Φ-1) is what we are looking for. Multiplying this equation by (Φ-1) and rearranging gives Φ^2-Φ-1=0. Remembering the root-finding method for a quadratic equation I find the positive root Φ=(1+√5)/2. The memory of anyone 65+ who can solve this Trivia Quiz is Working Fine.
Really terrible questions. Not a problem with memory. You’ve put together questions that every age group. Not good site!
BORING
The oldest English speaking University in the world is Oxford!
Northampton University was setup by king henry before Oxford.
You forget...all these quizzes are designed by Americans for Americans.
Not a memory test, more a knowledge test.
Nothing to do with memory!!!
These questions are not any good as a reflection of one’s memory. I’ve never been overly into popular music so could not answer many of those questions. Some of the questions in the other groups came across as either pretty silly or only something a select few in a specific area would know about.
The university in Copenhagen, Denmark was founded in 1479 nearly two hundred years before Harvard so that question is dead wrong.
It's so fast I can't keep score the one asking the question should keep score
What the H E double toothpicks is question 16 talking about?
Age 75 missed 2 movie questions only never was a movie buff so not surprised., score 38
WOW that’s incredible, Juanita! Great job! Even if you’re not a movie fanatic, you still did incredibly well by only getting 2 wrong! Keep it up! :)
35/40
WOW amazing job Ray! You’re memory is still impeccable these days! Keep it up! :)
Please get AI that knows how to speak English
Yep. I noticed that too
I'm 81 and scored 35 out of 40, but probably got more as some questions were wrong, i.e. oldest university is not Harvard...! Question 35 we don't have a special food for that night.
Wow AMAZING job Helen! Keep it up! And my apologies, there are times where there can be errors within this quiz. Our viewers help with pointing them out. You did well considering your age! Keep it up! :)
When I was a kid, in South London, we had roast potatoes cooked at the bottom of the bonfire.
@@thequizstorml
When I was a kid in South London, I fell into the bonfire, was o.k. yanked out immediately, no memory of the food.!!!!
I grew up in Manchester in the 70s. We most definitely did have parkin cake on Bonfire Night although I think it's actually more of a Yorkshire speciality. We also had treacle toffee. I've introduced my scouse husband to parkin and he loves it, though it's hard to find in Liverpool.
22 right...
WOW that’s still incredible Leon! That’s still quite impressive consider the difficulty of this quiz! Keep it up! :)
36
Wow great job Bea!! Your memory is INCREDIBLE at that age! Keep it up! :)
fun not too hard
I forgot to keep track of my score.........so I guess that"s a fail, then
Haha no worries! As long as you’re acquiring knowledge for this quiz, the score is just a silly number. :)
Did good until I got to the last 10 questions. Not good at geography
Oh no worries! :) As long as your knowledge is still intact, you’re doing well! Keep it up!
30/41 This had me guessing at times. Love it. I am almost 60, sorry, I didn't see the Senior Clause, but it was fun.
WOW well done Sara! That’s actually pretty impressive for your age! And no worries, haha! You’re still quite intelligent considering your score on this quiz! Keep it up! :)
