Didn't Niyyazzi write such 'bold' letters to Arriff Allwy, the IMF, the Economist etc in the past? What came out of those googlies? Of course, PTI-anchors and worshippers have had month long celebrations but the end result was a big zero. Yes, Niyyazzi thoroughly enjoys the chaos that generates in every segment of the society each time he opens his mouth. Nevertheless, unlike worshippers tend to believe, the outside world remains unmoved which in turn emboldens the 'takatwar' within to be indifferent towards Niyyazzi's tantrums. Which ensures that the entertainment continues for years to come.
Pinned for wider reach & debate! My Question is why Indians hate Imran Khan so much? How come they hate Imran Khan more than Pakistani Establishment? Indians hated Establishment blaming it for terrorism against India, but Imran Khan had no such relationship with India, then why over last two years, Indians have hated Imran more than Establishment? What has changed their calculus? How Imran has replaced Establishment in Indian minds?

Well since i am from india i can tell you.. so basically indians like establishment because it has done more harm than anyone.. and in case of imran khan according to me he is a pretty good "leader" so off course most people would hate it.. hate to see your so called enemy country rise..also what happened for 2 years was nothing less than a movie.. most indians including myself have seen what has happened and have been following prominent journalists like you and I ran Riaz.. there is one more reason to why indians hate imran khan.. it's to mock pakistani.. since you are from outside pak you maynot know but many Pakistanis in twitter would attack modi and say he is gaumutra drinker and bla bla bla..so it's kind of a trend in india to mock imran khan ..as for me personally I don't hate anyone and I'm not even a right winger.. 😊@@DrMoeedPirzadaOfficial

Imran khan was trying to make Pakistan better. He was working on economy and free foreign policy, which is why Indians are against IK. Indians can not see a strong Pakistan. Our only enemy in the world is India.

Excellent analysis, linking the blockade of Ballistic missiles with Iran- Pakistan gas supply line project and agreement. The question arises, 1)what legal authority , USA has to block an agreement, jeopardizes and restricting foreign companies to deal with country like Pakistan, because apparently, there is no impediment to US interests?
2) If Pakistan acts on US dictation, what USA will give in return? Will it pay the charge back from Iran in case of violation of the treaty?
3) will USA provide better alternative for access to cheaper gas or resources? Or it will be paid in form of informal kickbacks to Establishment, like it has been done in the past?

@DrMoeedPirzadaOfficial I believe that the sanctions on the missile programme have been taken under a two-pronged strategy -
1) pressuring Pakistan to distance itself from Iran so as to keep Pakistan energy dependent on the Gulf States and by that extension, on the West. Also, they don't want to give any breathing space to Iran, as Iran cannot legally export more than 200,000 BPD of oil, if I'm not wrong.
2) these sanctions might have some political value for the current Modi regime in India, especially against the backdrop of the ongoing elections. As we remember, Modi almost always wants/needs some sort of win with respect to Pakistan before his elections. This might just be the United States helping its good friend out, if nothing than at least as a goodwill gesture.
