Hello ,We love listening . Great singing and music❤.It's a pity Scotland was not on your Card .We would have liked to hear you live. Maybe next time by Gods grace .❤
Enjoyed you all twice now watching this honestly having traveled so much you made me feel present. Katie you picked me right up,managing to lock yourself up in the stocks. You’re so funny and a really genuine entertainer, also look at the result of being the eldest, everyone is so fine. you must glow 👍🇦🇺
Thanks for an excuse to once again enjoy taking this trip with you blessed brothers and sisters in Christ. Though I'm sure, for you, it was physically exhausting actually living through it, for we your fans these videos bring tremendous joy. May the constant awareness of God's love be a part of your travels as well as your time at home.❤
Thank you Julianne for sharing your Vlog from your European Tour. Looking forward to watching it. Wishing you all, Emmett’s family, and Michael’s family a Blessed 🙏Thanksgiving 🦃 From the Hetland’s 😎🙂😁🤠❤️✝️
It was really nice to see the complete tour together with your time with your friends playing together. Have you ever tried finding out if Emmet could play guitar and Matt the Dubro
They used to do this for fun in their show, swapping instruments. I've seen a video with Emmett 'playing' guitar, Ellen 'playing' dobro, and Matt 'playing' banjo (he probably still has nightmares about it 😁). Let's just say, it wasn't a success.😂
Ok, it took me a long time to get through this, and I have to say every minute was delightful. Let’s start with what you need most: suggestions for future videos. I could see an instructional video on finger pantsing and dancing. When is Matt going to do a fashion video, though he probably doesn’t want to get into hygiene. Juliane: doing laundry while travelling. Listening to all of this, Katie definitely needs to do (or maybe watch) a safety video, but be sure to use some stock footage. Not new, but subtitle for Belgium - the brothers and sisters meet the brothers and sisters. Macy - walking valentine and daredevil racer (or is that just what she does to Ellen. Matt: how to get a massage and drive at the same time (do not allow Katie to view). Jason could do a book: “It’s Always Time for Ice Cream… and Ukelele.” I think if Katie’s going to baby Julianne, she should get her an adult sized version of the whirling walker, and we should get a video of that! Some other thoughts: I need therapy - watching girls slap each other at 30:55 made me happy. I kind of want the full story behind Jason chasing the pedals (many times in Belgium). Huge respect for Michael for his support. Julianne bites things she’s an advocate for (51:45)? Julianne, I suspect you are quite romantic, but not with your own family; your roots are from the wrong part of West Virginia (53:00). Why am I not surprised that Katie reflects on Bible verses while waiting (1:14:50)? I’m curious as to how many people got Julianne Swiftee bracelets (1:26:30). ). At last - I have something in common with Katie - we both get styes; so we’re like twins separated at birth - very long birth. ) I teared up during the Cork meet & great - how do you not do this? Finally, shame on Matt for cheating at tug of war with his little sisters. MOST OF ALL, thank you for letting us ride along on your amazing adventures.
North Idaho for a Christmas concert! 🎄❄️🎤🎶. I can assure you you’d have at least 9 dedicated fans 😊❤ we play some of your songs in our performances, I love the twist you guys put on them! Not to mention the originals 🤭
Hello Petersen Family! I just wanted to post this for some reason... I have been sick for a couple of weeks. I'll be fine. So, I took some time off and focused on riding out this illness. I went on UA-cam, looking for something pleasant to watch that would help me to fade away out of my current reality. I found your Vlogs and have just been binge watching them for a couple days now honestly. I know you hear constantly just how good your music is, and I can see the heartfelt reaction of the Patreon's each time you meet with them, but I just wanted to tell you it's not the music that keeps me watching, although I love it very much and your all amazing artist and musicians, but it is the way you interact with one another, and your followers, that keeps me watching. I have to also say that your parents have done a 1 in a billion job of raising all of you because each and every last one of you seems like a wonderful God-fearing person. I love that you constantly keep a sense of humor with each other, and I can imagine that sometimes, traveling must be tough to do, but still, you keep that rare but kind spirit alive wherever you go. Thank you. Thanks for being willing to share your lives with others, and for taking the time to do all it takes to post it up here. I am touched by your gentle and kind ways. May the Lord Bless you in all you choose to do and may each of you be a light to those who need it the most in this darkening World. God Bless all of you! With His Love..... :)
The following is commentary that I originally posted on another social media platform. I had to edit out the links as per UA-cam. I discovered this Christian Family band around 5 (perhaps) 6 years ago. I began to honestly love them from the moment I first laid eyes (and ears) on them. Each individual member of the band has something very special to offer the listener... But I realized very early on that I have (and always will have) an incurable crush on the eldest Petersen sibling, the fiddle player Katie Petersen. Katie is not only an extremely accomplished singer/songwriter/musician in her own right, Katie is a very beautiful and extremely lovable young woman in every sense of the words beautiful and loveable. In my humble opinion Katie Petersen is the heart of The Petersen Family Band. Now Emmett Franz the dobro player is the only non-Petersen in the bands line-up. Emmett was that player who often comes into an already established band who provides that final piece to the musical puzzle that sends the band in the direction that they were all hoping to go into from the beginning. I cannot say enough about how Emmett has mastered the dobro slide guitar. With that being said... I often wonder how he sounds on peddle steel. But like all of the members of The Petersen Family Band Emmett Franz is the total package. I hate the idea of leaving any of the Petersen family band members out of this quick post... Suffice to say that mother Karen (Get it Mama) Petersen on stand-up bass, her middle daughter Ellen Haygood on banjo, and her son Matt Petersen on guitar, are all extremely talented musicians no matter how you slice it. The Petersen's most special musical talent that they bring to bare on any stage across the world are their vocal's. It doesn't matter which configuration of the line-up is doing what. Who's singing lead, or who's adding the tastiest harmonies that you may have ever heard in your life. Their vocal's are always special. Meaning... The Petersen's vocal talents are most certainly world class. These people can flat out sing. Which brings me to the one vocalist in the band who has that little extra certain something in her singing voice that gives her a sound quality that is truly her very own. As far as the youngest member of the Petersen family goes, mandolin player Julianne (cookie) Petersen's singing... is definitely a very real and very special vocal anomaly. Meaning: Deviation or departure from the normal or common order, form, or rule. One that is peculiar, irregular, abnormal, or difficult to classify. That's the only way I can explain what in my opinion is Julianne Petersen's very special vocalist gift. In the past I spent a few years trying to describe with the written word the extraordinary sound quality present in Julianne's voice. But I just had to finally give up. Because I could never come up with the right words that would illustrate her extremely unique, one of a kind, vocal attributes in a way that felt right to me, the listener. You'll just have to hear Julianne for yourself and make up your own mind. For me? I only have to hear her voice, I don't have to see her face, to say... That's Julianne! So may I suggest that you check out an older Petersen cover if you want to understand why I know that I will never be able to get enough of Julianne's singing. Or (for that matter) get enough of the harmonious perfection that is continually and forever inherent in every song The Petersen's decide to take on. Oh yeah... did I forget to mention that their arrangements are exceedingly professional, very well thought out, and also very well put together and executed? If you've ever heard those players who can cover a famous (or even a not so famous) song and somehow turn that song into their own... Then you will understand the consistent Modis Operandi of The Petersen Family Band. Take care. sincerely, Dean O. :-I No Roots - PS. If you want to hear another reason why I can't help but rave about The Petersen's awesome vocal prowess, you should also take a close look at Katie, Ellen, and Matt Petersen's (as close to perfect) rendition of our national anthem that you are ever going to hear in three part acappella harmony.
