I've set it up and given permissions to access my personal and work calendars to check for conflicts, but the booking link still allows me to schedule during slots that I have other meetings. Help!
This is amazing and has everthing one needs. I am just wondering, what's the catch? Also is it privacy oriented snce it's open source? I know that Clendly sells all your data which is not very nice so that's why I was looking for an alternative
I want to know how can i use the api of cal. And integrate it on my backed development to have the ability you send sms with the link of cal for people i working with.
Hey @greendsnow, you probably missed that we are taking care of dns, SSL, SMTP, encrypted backups in another data center, handling auto updates, monitoring, migrations, human support ... And also sharing a big part of the profits with open source authors ...
Anything in this world is way easier said than done. They could be serving a target market, we never know what customer want. So let's not look at everything through a negative lens and not look down on someone's efforts. Thank you
Great video! Sorry if dumb question. Why is that you install it on Elestio? What additional benefit there is if I can use the cloud base free version as a user? Thank you in advance!
Thank you very much! Your question is no dumb at all, especially as we didn't made it clear in the video. The main difference between the cloud base free version and installing it on Elestio is that we are deploying the free Open Source version which has different limits than the cloud based version. (Such as the number of users) Also you don't rely on Cal.com so if it's down for any reason or changes its limits and pricing you won't be affected on your own instance, while you would be on the Cloud one.
You are one of the best researcher!
wow the deployment is super fast with Elestio, really cool!
