honestly the amount of times ive been pushed into someone in the middle of a pit and they got pissy with me,,, if u dont wanna be in the mosh pit stick to the side or back of the venue it doesnt take a genius
Jewel Kat literally like fictional characters is one thing but i hate when people do it with real people, especially if you’re trans cuz you’re tryna be a normal guy and everyone’s like “omg so precious soft boi uwu” and you’re like no... just a normal teenage/adult guy.... a very short one but that ain’t my fault.... kindly fuck off.....
one of the most beautiful moments at a concert for me was at a Palaye Royale concert when they played Ma Cherie and the whole crowd sang along and we waved our phone lights and it was so nice
Literally all your videos make me so hopeful like one day I might move to the city and go to concerts all the time and get out of bed every morning and live with someone I love and not be any bit ashamed and god it makes me think i could have a future

I went to a Panic! At the disco concert in March and during High Hopes Brendon started crying and it was such a beautiful moment especially because of how involved they are with their fans.
ALSO yeah I had a show partially ruined by some drunk girls recently. Went to Amanda Palmer's show she just had in Chicago, and I've been OBSESSED with her since middle school, and she's just had so much influence in my life. This is the 3rd time I'd seen her live, and she just released this super heavy albumb and is speaking out on women's rights and her own experience with abortion (in the US two states just passed laws that make it nearly impossible to get an abortion). I'm going to a rally Thursday fuck. ANYWAY these 2 girls were getting smashed right next to me and screaming at her, it was assigned seat so I could even leave. Amanda interacts with the crowd so much too, so they kept screaming every time she would ask the crowd something. They kept wagering into the aile and standing up and using their phones while everyone else was seated and paying attention. They kept talking to each other and laughing too. She had us sing a part of a song later on and they sounded like high pitched wounded animals, like they were desperate to be louder than everyone else. I mean we were far away and she couldn't hear them I think but she definitely looked over once or twice. Was fucking awful, her set is so serious she talks about her best friend dying of cancer at one point, she's been working on this albumb for 7 years FUCK. I almost complained about them but like I wanted to enjoy the show, not make a scene.
Appreciate you sharing your story, people like those women in front of you are real douches with zero respect. Unfortunately there are crazy jerks like that almost everywhere, especially at gigs. Glad you weren't hurt but am pissed you went through that. That woman shouldn't even had been at the concert if she was claustrophobic or didn't like being around others in general.
My favorite gig I've been to this far was Declan McKenna in a small venue and fuck man, the energy was so good and the crowd was amazing. He was so interactive and lovely!!
My favorite was absolutely Yungblud. He interacted with us so much, he came into the crowd, helped a person that passed out, and at one point he had us put our arms around the people next to us and yell "I fu**ing love you!!"
My favourite concert was Panic! At The Disco a couple of months ago, and my worst experience at one was when I went to see The Killers this one time, the guy stood behind me was wolf-whistling in my ear the entire time so I couldn't hear like half of the songs.
I recently went to a Beck and Cage the Elephant concert (they were co-headlining) and the entire place was absolutely packed, but everyone was getting super into it. The vibe there was amazing, there were people of all ages and everyone was hyped. Matt Schultz (the lead for CtE) puts on the best show ever, he gets super into it and is very interactive with the crowds. It was my second time seeing his show and it was amazing. The dude next to me and the girls in front of me were so hyped as well.
My pet peeve a gigs is when some people like don’t move at all they just stand stick still the entire time and it just disrupts the rythm/ flow of the crowd YOU GOTTA MOVE
I had two full grown women vape right into my face multiple times at a yungblud concert ? They were on Instagram the entire time and didn’t look up once . 😒
I went to a Conan Gray concert, and I was so excited for it, but my dad made me late. I wanted to meet up with a friend, but they were at the barrier, and I didn’t want to be THAT person that shoves their way to the front. So I stayed where I was. It was decently close to the front, except that I was right behind a human GIRAFFE, and I’m hella short. I couldn’t see any part of the stage at all. I don’t know what I was expecting, but this crowd in particular was quite pushy, and before the show even started I had a panic attack, so I was crying and hyperventilating, etc. No one really cared except for one guy who talked to me 30 minutes into my breakdown. When the opener started, I already had too much and had to get my way into the back. I cried throughout the opener, which was sad cause I was really excited for it. I was completely alone the whole concert which usually is fine, but I was already having a hard time, and I was getting stared at for sobbing all alone.
growing up i went to a tonne of gigs like one love, boomtown and stuff - anyways when i was about four we went to one and we managed to get at the barrier and im here dancing sooo much - it's a multiple day festival and we were there for the multiple days - the next day we went to the same stage to listen to someone,, i was fast asleep on my buggy ,, all my energy i used the previous day dancing. also a lot of people who was near us the day before were there again and recognized me and they were all saying to my mum. thats one of my favourite festival experiences. :D
I fully feel your fury, boi. I CANNOT STAND people standing with their backs to the stage just taking selfies all night and ignoring the band completely... WHY ARE YOU EVEN THERE?
my favourite gig was a year and a half ago mainly because of the line up, it was chapel, sleep on it and as it is opening for waterparks which were 4 of my favourite bands at the time. it was my first small venue concert and it was amazing. second favourite was during march break my mum and i drove 12 hours to get to portland to go see state champs(it’s only supposed to take 5 but there was hella traffic) so we wound up missing grayscale and most of our last night’s set (which sucked major ass) but after state champs we waited around for a bit outside and all the guys came out and talked to us and we had some fantastic conversations and ryan gave me his pick and shit, it was great.
when i was around 14 i was at a pretty small gig and found myself in the front (it was just a ga situation so there werent rows or anything) and i was pretty excited because the band i had come to see were playing next and i had a great spot. well this weird ass woman with bright pink hair dressed in some sort of anime cosplay (???) and her boyfriend TORE me back by the shoulder and said “do NOT cut in front of us, go back to where you were” and i was pissed off! like who are you to pull me out of my spot at the front when its a goddamn ga punk show? there aren’t any designated spots right? so anyway about a half hour later i was moshing with some people and i noticed the couple was standing just outside the pit... and i just fuckin slammed right into them and i could tell they were pissed but i figured they deserved it for grabbing a 14 y/o kid and pushing her to the back of the crowd
I know you guys don’t really care, but I just got my first shot of T today!!!! Noah was the first trans person I’d seen on UA-cam, so I figured it was the best place to tell everyone
I was so happy to find out he likes hobo johnson cause im a big fan of his music as well. Creve coeur was the first song i absolutely loved and i just think its pretty cool we're similar
I think it worth mentioning too that I’m one of the people who records everything on my phone, and I can definitely see why that’d be annoying, and that’s completely understandable, but there’s a reason I do it. For one, if I really enjoy an artist and I enjoyed the concert, I want to be able to go back to those memories. It really helps me when I’m going through a hard time. Two, often times I know people who wished they could’ve gone, and they usually want videos of the concert. Sometimes, I’ll post them online and thousands of people will see them and enjoy them. Three, I’m really short, and I can’t see over people’s heads depending on the venue. Sometimes looking through my phone is the only way I can see unfortunately. I really do try my best to make sure it’s not blocking someone’s view, and I’m always willing to keep my phone lower down so others can see even if it means I can’t see or I don’t get the video. If it really bothered someone, I’d for sure be willing to stop. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
I agree Noah, if you are gonna pay to see a band or an artist, live in the moment! Take a few photos but get off your phone and appreciate the experience!!
I live in sweden and there are pretty much never any good band or artists here so i dont go to many concerts. Went to a tøp concert a few months ago and EVERYONE was on their phone. THE WHOLE TIME. That was really annoying.
My favorite concert has to be seeing Palaye Royale a few days ago. Out of the concerts I've gone to that one wins. They put on such an amazing show. The band and crowd have incredible energy. they are the sweetest people.
i went to a CHINCHILLA gig in december and it was 18+, in a club, seated and had table service. i had a really good time, and honestly one thing that has changed my life is realising that i can wear my ear defenders to a gig and it makes it 100x more enjoyable
Here’s my guess how it would’ve went if you started the pit: she would’ve yelled at you for a while and upon realizing that it’s not really working she would’ve just given you dirty looks for the rest of the night. I used to have a very toxic friend that would threaten people like that but she never actually did anything (to strangers). She did stab her friend tho
my favourite gig was the only one I’ve ever been to, it was twenty one pilots in Glasgow at the start of the year. I think Glasgow has the best crowds from what I’ve heard about other gigs, it was just so amazing
this wasn't a gig, but i was dragged to a vamps concert by my sister (she didn't have anyone else to go with) and there was a whole family sat infront of us and one of the girls just... didn't want to be there at all. like, i was dragged to the concert but i was still dancing and singing along because that's just the atmosphere of a concert, but this girl was sat for the entire time, sulking with her hood up. at one point we even watched her pick her nose and eat it. she would glare at me and my sister every time we cheered or made any noise, and she basically killed the whole concert for me.
I'm so glad somebody else has the same opinion that phones at gigs are so distracting! I hate having to view the gig through somebodies screen! It completely kils the atmosphere coz everybody just stands still so they dont get shakey cam!
My worst gig experience (that I'm comfortable sharing anyway) was when I traveled all the way to a different country to see my fave band. I got to the second row. I thought I was a hardcore fan but most of the younger fans around me remembered all the lyrics by heart and sang along the whole damn time really loud. I went there to hear the band sing but a lot of the time it was drowned out by randos singing. So that was fun.
‘it’s fun i enjoy bouncing off of other strangers covered in sweat’ 😂 yes
emily hills oi oi xx
keiraaaa 😂xx
Yee yee
If you are in the middle of the crowd at a show and you don’t wanna get shoved then leave the crowd. It’s like the most simple concert etiquette.

11:43 of Noah explaining how he is best friends with Hobo Johnson
You literally helped me whilst I was having a panic attack at that hobo Johnson concert so thank you so much

That is amazing commitment but i agree Noah is worth the confusion 👌
That's okay. English (USA) IS my first language and I have trouble understanding him sometimes.

I agree Noah, if you are gonna pay to see a band or an artist, live in the moment! Take a few photos but get off your phone and appreciate the experience!!
“That sucks”
;-;
“YOU SUCK”
😂 😂
I live in sweden and there are pretty much never any good band or artists here so i dont go to many concerts. Went to a tøp concert a few months ago and EVERYONE was on their phone. THE WHOLE TIME. That was really annoying.
My favorite concert has to be seeing Palaye Royale a few days ago. Out of the concerts I've gone to that one wins. They put on such an amazing show. The band and crowd have incredible energy. they are the sweetest people.
We need more story times
i went to a CHINCHILLA gig in december and it was 18+, in a club, seated and had table service. i had a really good time, and honestly one thing that has changed my life is realising that i can wear my ear defenders to a gig and it makes it 100x more enjoyable
She did stab her friend tho
do you mean backstab stab or real stab??
Is her friend ok if she literally satbbed her
Creve couer is my fave hobo song
hobo Johnson is amazing! I love this one dont I cant even remember the name but I know every word by heart now it's amazing
I absolutely love Hobo Johnson everyone should go listen to his songs they are beautiful
my favourite gig was the only one I’ve ever been to, it was twenty one pilots in Glasgow at the start of the year. I think Glasgow has the best crowds from what I’ve heard about other gigs, it was just so amazing
ilysm keep it up bro and stay strong
this wasn't a gig, but i was dragged to a vamps concert by my sister (she didn't have anyone else to go with) and there was a whole family sat infront of us and one of the girls just... didn't want to be there at all. like, i was dragged to the concert but i was still dancing and singing along because that's just the atmosphere of a concert, but this girl was sat for the entire time, sulking with her hood up. at one point we even watched her pick her nose and eat it. she would glare at me and my sister every time we cheered or made any noise, and she basically killed the whole concert for me.
Can you imagine being so tragic wtf. 😂 Dno how you kept your cool
Oh look! Noah posted a video 🙂
What a lovely live there was
My favourite moments at concerts are probably when the whole crowd shout one particular line together
That's some good storytelling
oh my god i'm literally in love with you what😂💗
Nice to hear that someone besides me can enjoy concerts or a movie etc. and leave the phone OFF!
I'm so glad somebody else has the same opinion that phones at gigs are so distracting! I hate having to view the gig through somebodies screen! It completely kils the atmosphere coz everybody just stands still so they dont get shakey cam!
Hobo Johnson is the besstttt I’ve never met anyone else who likes his music 😍
I want to hear more gig storiessss
My worst gig experience (that I'm comfortable sharing anyway) was when I traveled all the way to a different country to see my fave band. I got to the second row. I thought I was a hardcore fan but most of the younger fans around me remembered all the lyrics by heart and sang along the whole damn time really loud. I went there to hear the band sing but a lot of the time it was drowned out by randos singing. So that was fun.
CREVE COEUR IS MY FAVORITE TOO WTF
i will never understand people wanting to be violent to someone unprovoked. violence is just so stupid
also i fucking love hobo, i went to one of his concerts and it was fucking amazing. he really puts a lot of effort into his music.
