I cannot decide whether the caller accurately predicted Dean and Colette getting involved romantically, or the producers took her idea and ran with it.
But in my opinion, having that romance was unrealistically absurd, a mistake. Because anyone in Dean's shoes, relentlessly pursuing a woman like he pursued Bridgette, he would not easily fall for another woman so soon. Even if it occurs to him that Colette were more suitable than Bridgette after the fact, the hook in his heart is too far set in.
