Is Troy Corser riding this? Hard to believe that beast can corner like that on public roads with normal tyres. Nice riding and I presume you spend alot of time at the track
@@jamesringler987 I sold my F650, I prefer the bigger GS. It allows me to make good distance on highways when I want to do some off-road tours far away, so it's a much better allrounder for my taste. It of course totally depends on what you want to do.
@@omeobandit9928 I actually own the same bike, 1998, 175.000 km, same color, bought in 2003 second hand at 18.000 km. in official BMW store, still rides perfectly, just orinary manutenction. Simply fantastic.
Hi, i never touched the suspensions before. I ran many brands of road tyres without problems, the only bad tyres were battlax adventures. To stay on the safe side, get road class tyres, not adventure tyres, and you will be ok. By my memory some tyres i tried were pilot road 4, metzeler lazertec, pirelli scorpion trail, dunlop arrowmax (ridden in part 2), etc. I havent tried but rosso 3 and michelin road 5 look very good. Cheers!
@@andrestinglin5563 if you want to be a street Rossi and drag knee on a BMW GS you should get road focused tyres. Adv tyres don’t give you much feel and don’t really inspire confidence when leaned over, although in terms of road grip I can only say that a set of TKC70s has more grip than I have balls.
I don’t mean to be negative but a combination of the bars touching down at 1:57 , and the rider just wearing “combat pants” ... could be very bad ! ATGATT
Imaging you are coming the other way, perhaps out for a ride with your friends and he loses the front because his engine bars have dug in yet again? His bike slides into you. You spend the rest of your life in a wheel chair. How would you feel about his antics then?
Keep that kind of riding on the track. Why put others in danger for your thrill?!! You can't say, "I'm sorry for killing your child because of my antics." Nope too late. Go to the track if you want to ride like that!!
Track riding is a rich man's hobby. I tried it for a few months and loved it but went broke and also you don't get much riding time, there's too many rules and track days are held weeks apart or monthly and that's at a time when I rode every day and riding was the only thing I had
@@omeobandit9928 You are an inconsiderate, self-centered person who cares little about other people's safety. My good friend was a champion track rider. He rode his Hayabusa on the roads of Lake Berryessa, Napa, County, CA. He rode just like this video. He came around a corner (left turn) with is head slightly over the double yellow line, but his bike was in his lane. He hit his head on the front left head light of an on-coming car. It killed him instantly, but he also caused the car to go off the road and kill two children in the car. The mother survived, but her life was ruined forever because of his stupid riding on PUBLIC ROAD. No, you need to spend time in jail riding like that.
Thats really insane. Amazing. I did not even know these bikes could dip this far without touching cylinder head.
didn't you see all the times it did scrape?
Your buddy is awesome at camera work.
Yeah seriously, it's so stable and mostly on point
Cornering is an addiction

Do you think adventure tires have enough grip for half the punishment? Or aren’t they not even close?
