My favorite Wii title theme, I always waited for it to finish before pressing start
:'(.. I'm not even done with this game yet, but I want to take my time in playing the game to feel the emotions, the story, and the experience. I hope some people still remember The Last Story game or at least is in the community still because even though I'm not done with the game yet, I'd say that it's the best game I've ever played. And, everytime I hear the The Last Storys title screen makes me feel sad and I don't know why, it just hits the feels.
Did your thoughts on the game change after you finished it? I'm a bit interested in your opinion if you don't mind
The last story is very interesting and they should make a remake of this game
This game is beautiful, and so is the music and I'm glad I got to play it.
I wish it would get a Switch port. This was a great game and a real gem to play.

I really hope it does too. There was some rumor about it getting a sequel but I’m still not so sure of it. It would be amazing to have it ported to Switch-I’d be content with that.
A staple in action RPGs in my opinion.

@@thatkidflossy2792 nothing stopping them from porting this gem to both systems. It's really just a matter of if Sony is willing to play nice with Nintendo.
This game was ahead of its time. If it was re-released nowadays, it would would be aclaimed as it deserves

I mean.. it does play mostly at times where both of those themes apply. It's a comeuppance basically.

*Presses A* Absolutely fantastic game! It feels magical to play, and the story is awesome imo. Not expecting a Wii U sequel or anything but god damn I would love it if Nintendo made this one of their staple franchises or something.
+worldsboss It's not Nintendo's game, though. It's Mistwalker's. They've only been developing mobile games since this.
The manual says Nintendo owns all rights above the game, including characters, theme, story, etc. Its a Nintendo game developed by Mistwalker.
Raiken Zero Nintendo managed to acquire the rights to the IP, but besides that they barely had anything to do with it. Mistwalker isn't a subsidiary of Nintendo or anything, they're an independent developer. Nintendo doesn't own any of their other IPs. They've made games for cellphones and for the 360.
Nintendo has just put in an application to renew The Last Story trademark.

One of best title screens. When you see it for the first time and press A expecting menu, but you get yet another awesome title screen.
I wish they would rework this game into HD. imagine with the graphics of now how stunning this game would be.

I just finished the game this morning. You will definitely not be disappointed!! For me, this game is on par with Xenoblade Chronicles as best RPG of all time.

i love this game. it was difficult in some fights but i’m not complaining because this game has a way to just get a grasp of you and make you play again no matter how hard the fight is. the soundtrack on this game is beautiful and makes it sooo much better. i haven’t played this game in years and i enjoyed every bit of it. i’m coming back to this game soon because im playing final fantasy remake which is made by the same people. but if you want a game that will give you a good story and you want one that is just all around a good experience get this one. i got it the year it came out and i still remember most of the fights and names of the characters because they put an impact on you and not a lot of games can do that

Favorite character calista
Got my game a couple days ago, on ch. 22 and I really like it so far! :3 I need to slow down so I can enjoy it more, I know a lot of people said it's short, but if you do all the side quests and such it's decent. Plus, the characters are hilarious X)

Eh... knowing me, I'm going to try to collect/do a lot before finishing up the game... it took all of my effort to just finish xenoblade chronicles and worry about a lot of the end game stuff for a new game plus... but w/e.

I beat it the day before it came out 'cause I imported it from Europe. It's not that long of a game either.
I'm not sure if many people will give this a fair shake given the anti-jrpg attitude the media's takena and perhaps unrealistic expectations made of Sakaguchi (he certainly doesn't have anywhere near the resources that he did when he was at Square in the PSX/PS2 eras.
Feels like Kingdom Hearts a bit. :)

eh... it's alright, but it's repeating the same melody over and over again with almost no variation... until that halfway point anyways.
Thé only moment this game felt like a masterpiece. The rest is absolutely awful, especially after playing xenoblade.
