Best mod I made to my GTS scooter was to replace the handlebar with a solid lightweight aluminum mountain bike one, much, much better. Those Chinese TNE scooters (branded Dragon here in Straya) are not too bad, mid quality I'd suggest. But the handlebars they come with, pure Chineseum. Rubbish is a polite word for them.
The wobble in the GTR in this video isn't down to that. The bottom screw is adjusted fine. The wobble is in the stem to head set. It's because the two chrome hex bolts that are a little undersized. It is true that the bottom screw for the hinge has to be adjusted regularly.
Can you make anu update on how the GTR V2 is still going? I ordered mine a few weeks ago, i'm still waiting for mine to arrive however i'm wondering just how well the battery runs even after a year.
@@techlifebio That's great to know, what about the overall togetherness of the scooter. Are there any parts that become loose or have the tires started to wear out. I'm just curious to know all about since i purchased it. But mine has taken almost a month now since i bought it. 🥲
I have the 2022 and the only other problem is my stand bolts are loose and its almost impossible to tighten as it seems you need to pull the battery out to get to the other side of the bolts.
excellent review, thanks for your insight.

Yeah I'll probably replace at some point.
to solve the stem wabble you need to tighten the screw on your deck when folded down u will see one big bolt to tighten

use locktight for the screws they will stay in place same with handle bars
Yeah I'll try that.
Suspension on the new model seems to be a vast improvement. That lower steering stem collar looks the goods too.
Thanks for the info.
No worries, glad the comparo has been useful

That is a nice watch.
Thanks :-) Garmin Vivoactive 3 with a leather band I found on ebay.

Battery seems to be still holding full charge, range hasn't changed.

Haven't had that issue yet. Unfortunate design but not too hard to get the deck off. I'll have a look at this if I ever have the deck off on my v2
Hello there, do you know how is this compared to the GTS v2?
This is basically the off road rugged version of the GTSv2. Bit more power and range, heavier, higher and can carry a larger rider.
Who doesn't want a calssic Nissan skyline GTR v2
