I own tons of products from ASUS and they’re all built incredibly well. This looks like an awesome external cap card. May have to pick one of these up.

My elgato hd60s+ works just fine with ps5 and my laptop. But damn my laptop is up to 300hz, I wish I kept the box to sell the elgato and buy this. Those stuff aren't cheap

Great video man! Had a question if you don’t mind. It’s been a B trying to find a capture card to capture and live stream console (XBSX) to the M1 Mac Mini. Will this be the answer? The only mixed answers I got was the Elgato HD60s+ and live gamer ultra. But would love to get this one if it’s compatible with Console x M1

I just got this today and suffering for 3-4 hours already trying to set it up and i finally did,kinda, streamlabs and obs can't pick any kind of audio at all while on its video capture console program its getting picked up,not sure what im missing

I bought it to improve the quality of my recordings but I got a bad surprise, it does not work with docking stations, specifically anker power elite 13 en 1 and baseus titan HUB 17 en 1, DHCP error

I have a gaming PC. If I buy this ASUS TUF CU4K30. I plug a HDMI cable from my graphic card RTX 3090 to the HDMI-IN port in CU4K30. Then I plug the USB-C cable from ASUS TUF CU4K30 to my ACER laptop USB-C port (streaming laptop). I install OBS software in my ACER laptop and then I can stream to twitch tv using my ACER laptop. Am I right or wrong?
My ACER laptop has very good technical specs so it is ok for streaming.

Anyone get VRR passthrough to actually work? Been trying to add it to my setup, XSS to Asus VG27AQ (which supports 1440p 120hz) but the xbox won't let me enable VRR... technically the ASUS website says VRR required HDMI 2.1 but there are literally 2 ASUS monitors that have hdmi 2.1 and they're both like $1000 lol. Anyway, seems pretty dumb that vrr works direct but this capture card can't, might have to return and just get the elgato hd60x... And yes, I've updated the firmware to the latest.
I’m using OBS right now and I’ll get is a screen that says HDCP. Can’t get an image to show from my PS4 Pro. Might have to send this back.
No go to your ps4 and disable HDCP and you should be good

Great video and this comment isn't directed at. you but more at the comments: I've never had such issues finding simple information on the web!! I even see all the questions asking the same crap.... WE NEED TO PLAY AT 120hz in 4k but WANT TO STREAM/RECORD in 4k 60hz or even 30hz but the MAIN KEY IS THAT THE GAMEPLAY STAYS AT 120HZ is this even possible? am I looking for the wrong thing here?

Well most of us dont own a asus zenbook pro that retails at 3k.
You should maybe try a lower budget pc/laptop with lower specs.

Well you missed a critical , critical part . So if your running a controller through the capture card and it is recording party chat..... How are you suppose to use an external mic like hyper x for stream?
Plus the external mic into what ever PC or Laptop you are streaming on...

OMG. I have so many questions. Does it allow for the ps5 120 pass through? If I have a wireless Astro or steel series headset, do I need to do more wires or does it pick everything up from party chat to game sound all at once (elgato and avermedia stand alones, need more wires :( )

I think doesn't matter because the output when you stream will be just 60fps right away

I think we have the same setup. Want to play on 1440p but record and capture at 1080p at most due to low spec pc😂
@@RHYMA24 what I'd do is this:
1- Clone your monitor to the capture card
2- In OBS set your canvas to 1080p
3- Add the capture card as a video source to OBS.
4- Right click on it > Trasform > Fit to Canvas. I'm paraphrasing, but it must be something like that.
And you're done

you can but need an additional adapter to connect to iPhone/iPad that will output hdmi then you connect it to the capture card
