I think nano speedy looks the most beautiful with its original strap. I like it better than the new version with the detachable adjustable strap. For a mini bag it looks “cleaner” without all the metals. Sometimes less is more. Just my opinion

I’m glad I got my hands on the black trendy cc WOC with rose gold hardware … they said it’s difficult to find. I have my small black reissue with rethenium, medium beigeclair caviar, and jumbo black and gold caviar. I feel complete in sizing.
I have the LYXBAGS , Bastia, and Kelly pockets like you, and I agree that the buttons on the Kelly pockets are too prominent. I like the Bastia and Calvi for being relatively flat and not "cramped"!

Just a thought Minnie and maybe you've already thought of this but you could take both of the straps from the nano speedy and the nano noe to a leather specialist and have them combine the strap into an adjustable one and add some clasps to attach it to the d- rings so you could use it with either bag. ???

Oh yes, definitely have this "coming back to a favourite handbag"-feeling when I switch back into my Alma PM. My most beautiful bag still is the Lady Dior with Toile de Jouy-embellishments, but there's something about the Alma PM that makes it so easy to use. You just know that everything will fit, and you don't need to worry when carrying it (I have the Vernis version, so no vachette leather on the Alma, and compared to other leather bags is Vernis a carefree solution, concerning any rainy or snowy weather). So definitely get what you mean with your Palm Springs Mini 😊! Oh, and SO agree on the I don't care if it's still an "It"-bag - if you love the bag, you love the bag. Everyone has a different taste. Minnie, I think silvermetallic SLGs as well as black and white ones should look great with your (amazingly beautiful 😍!) Chanel Mini Reissue in rose gold; the reason I think so is, many of my jewellery pieces are in rose gold (or, if it's Swarovski, rose gold plated), and I always think that the rose gold is not only flattering to my skin tone (very fair neutral), but also matches most of my clothes (even my burgundy red dresses look amazing with rose gold jewellery!), as well as silver and yellow gold or light gold hardware on my bags. I don't find it clashing in any way, so I suppose it should work the other way around 😊🤷🏻♀️?

If you cut the Nano Speedy strap you won’t regret it. I have Speedy 20 because I don’t like the textile strap so I sold it. Now I am using a monogram strap from my Pochette Métis. I absolutely love it and feel great. Looks fabulous too.
It's interesting that most of your cons have to do with the straps. For me, the big con of The Tote Bag by Marc Jacobs is the big "The Tote Bag Marc Jacobs" on the front. This bag would be so much better without that big branding. Great collection!

Do you have a link to the insert you have in your Celine nano? Also, I too did not like the fact the strap isn’t adjustable so I took my straps into a cobbler and he was able to make them shorter.

It’s metallic. A few years ago I was chatting with my SA and he mentioned that Chanel had completely revamped how they finish metallic & iridescent pieces, so they don’t wear as horribly as they have in the past. So far, I’ve haven’t had any issues with the iridescent or metallic items I have with my collection. ♥️

Is your rose mini considered metallic or iridescent am looking at a calfskin iridescent - do you know if there is a difference in wear between metallic and iridescent?? I kind of remember that one of them chips offs???
It’s metallic. A few years ago I was chatting with my SA and he mentioned that Chanel had completely revamped how they finish metallic & iridescent pieces, so they don’t wear as horribly as they have in the past. So far, I’ve haven’t had any issues with the iridescent or metallic items I have with my collection. ♥️
