That's true, but there is no doubt that Maury's "second chance" at solo was on its way very soon. Jim was on HIS second chance and doing very well. Given the great friends that they were, Jim may have backed him for a tour or two - or brought some "Jim" to Maury's songs; like Maury surely did for him. We'll never know for sure, but we can make a good guess and we'd be right I think.
