for those wondering why Gary almost always takes his own energy it's because each individual energy is considered individually. Each time he attacks he has at least four energy on him so he usually has the most making it most likely on of his energies will be discarded
That moment mid-sip of your drink when the Eevee almost high rolled your Gyarados lols 11:21. Missed your reaction a little in the cut but super funny on stream haha. Anyways awesome vids, keep up the great work 💯
the way the energy loss works from Gyarados EX attack is basically this: Put all energy on the active and bench pokemon on both sides into 1 bowl and draw 1 energy - that energy is gone. It can even disappear from the pokemon your are KO'ing.... wich is not that bad because at least it didn't remove it from your team but still kinda wasted potential if the opponent had energy elsewhere. Since Gyarados usually have most of the energy (4+) when attacking, it usually remove it from itself. It's not a huge deal most of the time but it does limit your pivot options and kinda ruin the potential fun with Vaporeon.
Nope, it does well against Mewtwo at the moment, that's the only reason it did so well this week, because majority of people still play Mewtwo, and that deck can't handle 180hp and follow up 1 shot. Pikachu dominates this deck, like literally shits on it. Celebi goes 50/50 against it. If Mewtwo figures out some new tech to deal with it, then gyarados will drop big time.
I don’t know the exact math but basically if you have 5 and they have 1 you have a higher chance of losing energy because you have more energy and it basically puts all your energy into a pool and randomly selects one
There's gotta be a bug with Gary because the wording on the card clearly states its suppose discard energies from all Pokémon, not just itself. So I hope they fix it soon
"Discard a random *Energy* from among the Energy attached to all Pokemon" The text just says "a random Energy" which means one Energy only. Gyarados' effect is not bugged.
Wondering if its worth dropping one frokie for a Gio. How often would you get two greninjas in play? Maybe even drop drug for a second Gio (Also, I say this seeing you got two Greninja's online.... But I guess I would then say, did that make a difference in you winning?)

Celebi goes 50/50 against it, and Pikachu just dominates this deck. If Mewtwo figures out how to deal with it, then it'll drop down and sit with Charizard in the meta.

Gyarados just discards a random energy. One time, I had 16 energies on Gyarados yet it discarded opponent's energy.
180 HP on a stage one is ridiculous. This is easily the best deck currently in the game.
I think best deck overall might still be a Pika EX deck but this one is so fun. I also recommend the Starmie EX version!

11:28 This guy's Eevees were well trained 0_0
Weird conclusion to the video. Good deck for sure shame Misty is in it she is just so polarizing

Thats evee was just gangsta
Feels good to do this to mew-two decks
With new normal type realeses and new support cards, multicolor decks are bound to have one set that them meta and thats the moment im waiting on
Gary be bopping decks left and right.
I use Fearow to troll the opponent instead of Druddigon in this deck. I will try this too. It is really a very strong deck.
i still have yet to see gyarados take away an opponents energy 😂

it's actually not a 50/50
the more energy you have, the more likely it takes away an energy from you
I went like 20-3 with this deck the other day. So many people conceded lol
A zebstrika away from loosing, but it’s a crazy powerful deck
Or hitmonlee 😬

Why would u need gio, every meta pokemon dies in one hit from gyrados + 20 from greninja/drug
@@Marowakie Damn.... your right....
It's funny I JUST fought this and my hitmonlee just stomped it
already being countered my brother

11:20 what is going on with the editing.. Ruined a good moment
And this is why I run Pika EX + Zepstrika this time for the free wins
I really feels like playing more than 4 or 5 basic in a single deck is too mutch. Cause u cannot get what u want when u want most of times
Magikarp should have had 50 hp
I don't like Gyarados' attack. The random aspect wouldn't work in real life.
the # 1 really ? 😂 deck gyarados = full luck
Like mewtwo? Turn 3 gardivoir isn’t lucky? Or celebi with turn 3 serp? And flip 12 coins isn’t that full luck?
