Never played it, but This reminds me of Warcraft 3. The mission at the end where your that beast master orc. Actually looks fun
Agree, game is quite fantastic picked it up on a whim a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised given the reviews out there
couldn't agree more. It has 1-2 annoying missions, but I absolutely enjoyed the story. Once I'll find the time, I will give the multiplayer a try, which luckily comes with crossplay support!

This is a underrated gem I started playing it like 2 days ago great lore great graphics great story great game but someone please tell me the 2nd campaign stage is the hardest map in the game
I'm sorry but it's absolutely intending to be a Dawn of War game. All the mechanics you mentioned were invented by Relic for Company of Heroes 1, then mastered in DoW2, which is exactly what this is a clone of.
The problem is they changed a few very important aspects of it, such as the retreat function and how you're locked in combat instead of being able to move away at will without retreating.
There's nothing worse in an RTS than feeling like you're not in control of your army.
I had such high hopes for Realms of Ruin. The devs did SO MANY things correctly, like creating a powerful map editor, allowing you to paint your army colors, giving you an expensive campaign adventure. But they just failed to make the gameplay part of it feel good.
I have one issue with Frontier Developments its the DLC's. I bought Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters and thought I would support the devs by getting the DLC's; I was wrong. So I felt that the DLC's did not added much to the game. I would suggest as you review the game that you also look at the content being added to the games; like DLC's and what not. If a game is purposely broken up to be resold as DLC, I question what I am being sold.
YES!!! THIS 100% The DLCs, are not worth it AT all. I desperately wanted to love Chaosgate but became bored overly fast and the DLCs didn't add enough to the game
I would buy it myself, if I haven't already bought five other games during this sale xd

The single player aspect of this game is good enough to buy it, at least, the base game. The problem is the lack of players in online mode.

No base building, its Sigmar, not old world. Bring back DOW 1 gameplay in old world. I wantz me goblins
I love AoS and DoW style games and as such had HIGH hopes for this game. I was SORELY dissapointed. There are too many faults for me to list but for me its main sins were The lack of unit variety and depth. These led me to become bored overly quickly and I have gone back to it after 6 hours
Would it be a noob move to buy it for PS5? seems like a game made for PC and i don't have a PC

For me, it's better than I thought going in. But the wokeness, lack of depth, and clear intention to abandon this, puts me off beyond playing the odd match with friends.

So is this game worth the $15 on PS5, it also seems like a command & conquer type of game from back in the day when I was in highschool... If so I'll buy it cuz I uavent played a game like that since
Nope. C&C has massive unit rosters, resource management, and large, mobile forces and high unit turnover.
This game is the opposite of that. It's focused on skirmish combat with almost no base building or economy to speak of. It just looks really bare bones to me.
@@Emidretrauqe that's what it is, a bare bone RTS game, C&C was an original style of RTS... This goes back to the routes of standard RTS type of gameplay
