I used to work with Max. After a few meetings with him I asked him about his name because it's not an Icelandic name but he was clearly Icelandic, or so I thought. That's when I learned that he wasn't a Icelandic, he just casually spoke the language better than most Icelandic people. These tips should be the gold standard.
I like Duo Lingo, but say for Swedish, I "finished" the course a few years ago and the daily personalized practice is SOOOO repetitive and unchallenging, which gets old

I learn Icelandic through Label Icelandic because of the grammar... so far is the only app that teaches Icelandic grammar I'm afraid.
